Jesus doesn't merely forgive our sins—He sets us free. In Mark 1 we see His absolute authority over every evil spirit, reminding us that the Kingdom of God is greater than the kingdom of darkness. Because of the cross, believers no longer live in fear or condemnation but are seated with Christ and share in His authority. Freedom begins with repentance, faith and surrender to Jesus, who has already won the victory.

In Mark 5 we see two desperate people—a respected synagogue leader and a woman who had suffered for twelve years. Both found hope in Jesus.
When God seems delayed, don't mistake His delay for His denial. Jairus waited while Jesus stopped to heal someone else, yet Jesus still arrived with exactly what Jairus needed. The story reminds us to trust God's timing, celebrate the breakthroughs of others, and keep believing that Jesus is still the victorious King.
"Just because it's not now doesn't mean God won't do it."
Jesus is still Lord over every storm.
The sea in Scripture represents chaos, fear, evil, and everything that opposes God's Kingdom. Yet in Mark 4, Jesus speaks only three words: "Peace. Be still."
The same Jesus who calmed the storm also conquered sin, death, and darkness through the cross. His victory wasn't achieved through power or violence, but through sacrificial love.
No matter what storm you face today, His peace isn't dependent on your circumstances—it is anchored in His rule.
Jesus still rules over nature, the nations, and every storm in our lives.
Jesus didn't begin by healing the paralytic's body—He began by forgiving his sin.
In Mark 2, Jesus reveals that our deepest need is not simply healing, but reconciliation with God. Sin traps us, shame distorts our identity, and we often try to fix ourselves through our own efforts. But only Jesus has the authority to forgive sin, remove shame, and restore us to our true identity.
Dale Cilliers shares his personal testimony of freedom from alcoholism, reminding us that victory comes not through willpower, but through the power and grace of Jesus Christ.
You are not your past. You are not your shame. In Christ, you are a son or daughter of God.
In this sermon, Melissa le Roux discusses Jesus being victorious over culture and tradition, specifically through the lens of Mark 7. She emphasizes that while human rules and traditions often aim for purity, they can become tools for exclusion and hypocrisy if they lack the compassion and heart of God.
Jesus was closest to the Father when He entered the wilderness.
Temptation is not proof that God has abandoned you. It is often the place where faith is refined and trust is tested.
Satan tempts us to grasp God's promises in our own way and in our own timing. Jesus did what no one else could—He trusted the Father completely and stood victorious over every temptation.
Because He became fully human, Jesus understands every struggle we face. He doesn't stand far away; He stands beside us with mercy when we fail and grace to help us stand.
"Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace..." – Hebrews 4:15–16
Versoeking beteken nie God is ver nie.
The world teaches that authority is about power, control, and being served. Jesus turns that idea upside down.
Drawing from Daniel 7 and Mark's Gospel, Daniel van Schalkwyk showed how Jesus embraces the title Son of Man—the figure who receives all authority and dominion from God. Yet instead of ruling through force, Jesus exercises His authority through service, sacrifice, and self-giving love.
The Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve.
As followers of Christ, we are called to use our influence, leadership, and authority in the same way: serving others, building them up, and laying down our lives for their good.
Key takeaway: Authority in God's Kingdom is not about what you can get from others, but what you can give for others.
What does it mean that Jesus is the victorious Son of God?
In Mark’s Gospel, Jesus is revealed not as another Caesar-like ruler who conquers through violence, domination, status, or self-glory. He is the true Son of God who brings God’s kingdom through self-giving love.
The cross looks like weakness to the world, but Mark shows us that it is the place where Jesus is enthroned as King. The crown of thorns, the mockery, the shame, and the Roman cross all become the moment where God’s victorious power is revealed.
A Roman centurion looked at the crucified Jesus and confessed: “Truly this man was the Son of God.”
The invitation of Mark is clear: let the cross reshape your vision of power, your priorities, your desires, and your life. Jesus is King — and His kingdom is found through the way of the cross.
What does it mean to follow Jesus into the harvest?
In this sermon, DB Hauptfleisch shares the story of how God called his family toward planting a church in Luxembourg, confirming the call again and again through prayer, Scripture, and prophetic encouragement. From Psalm 126 and Zechariah 4, he reminds us that God restores, God sends, and God builds “not by might nor by power” but by his Spirit.
The challenge is simple but costly: pray for the harvest. As we pray, God changes our hearts. As our hearts change, we become willing to go.
Every believer is called to be a sent one — in the workplace, the family, the boardroom, the sports field, the city, and the nations.
Pray for the harvest. Carry the seed. Say yes to being sent.

Life moves fast, but busyness is not the same as purpose.
In this message, Hennie and Belene Coetzer unpack Ephesians 5 and invite us to “look carefully” at how we walk. Whether in career, singleness, marriage, or family, God is calling us to live intentionally, make wise use of our time, and be shaped by the Holy Spirit instead of pressure, striving, or substitutes.
Singleness is not a waiting room. Marriage is not a checklist. Covenant is not about getting your own needs met. Every season is an invitation to be formed by God, see people the way He sees them, and walk in obedience to His purpose.

Marriage is not just two people sharing a life — it is a covenant invitation to become one.
In “Two in One,” Heinrich Titus reminds us that meaningful marriage requires leaving, cleaving, listening, remaining, and loving with all our heart, soul, and strength. Just as God is fully present, fully faithful, and fully committed to us, He invites us to become present and faithful in our relationships.
This message is a call to resist fragmented living, fight for attentive space, remain curious about one another, respond with grace and truth, and allow the Holy Spirit to restore covenant love.
There is more for your marriage. Don’t settle.
God hoor jou hart.
What happens when the Holy Spirit truly reigns in the church?
In this Pentecost message from Acts 2:38-47, Tiaan Scott reflects on Peter’s sermon, the repentance and baptism of 3,000 people, and the Spirit-formed practices of the early church. The message is a call back to simplicity, Scripture, community, repentance, baptism, and deep dependence on the Holy Spirit.
The church was never meant to be powered by human effort, personality, or strategy. It was born by the Spirit, shaped by the Spirit, and is still invited to live by the Spirit today.
What does it look like to follow Jesus when obedience becomes uncomfortable?
In this sermon from Philemon, Melissa le Roux explores the story of Paul, Philemon, and Onesimus as a picture of gospel-shaped community. Paul appeals in love, Onesimus is sent back not as a slave but as a brother, and Philemon is invited into the costly beauty of forgiveness, reconciliation, and Christlike obedience.
This message calls us to become a people who love deeply, forgive freely, call out God’s purpose in others, and walk the road of Jesus even when it is uncomfortable.
The Christlike way is not always easy — but it is beautiful.
Jesus is not just another king in the biblical story. He is the fulfilment of the whole story.
Matthew presents Jesus as the greater Cyrus: the King who ends exile, restores God’s presence, and sends His people into the world. But Jesus is greater than Cyrus because He does not merely rule by authority from God — He rules as God.
His kingdom is faithful, compassionate, merciful to rebels, kind to the weak, victorious over death, and gentle enough for children to feel safe near Him.
The call is to believe His reign, trust His commands, repent, be baptized, obey Him, and go into the world as living temples of His presence.
Jesus reigns. Therefore, go.
Dis hier nou.”
What if Jesus clearing the temple was not uncontrolled anger, but holy love in action?
In this sermon from Matthew 21, Melissa le Roux shows how Jesus’ judgment in the temple reveals the intentional heart of God. The outer court was meant to be a place where outsiders, the weak, and the broken could draw near. But religion had turned it into a place of noise, convenience, and exclusion.
Jesus clears the way.
The gospel is not just a ticket to heaven, a private comfort, or a set of rules to impose on others. It is an invitation into the kingdom of Christ — a call to yield our whole lives, pursue justice, confess sin honestly, and become people through whom others can encounter God.
When Jesus arrives, the children are welcome, the weak feel safe, and the sick are healed.
This is holy love. This is holy joy. This is the gospel embodied.
This sermon explores how the Gospel of Matthew presents Jesus as the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophets, particularly in the line of Moses, Elijah, and Elisha. Matthew emphasizes that Jesus is not introducing a new story but bringing God’s long story to its climax.
Jesus sê: “Verloën jouself en volg My.”
Wie sê JY is Hy?
Why would Jesus hide truth in parables?
Because not everyone is ready to receive it.
This message explores:
• Why the heart matters more than knowledge• How Jesus fulfills God’s promise of wise rule• Why true peace only comes where He reigns
“Where the King rules, there is peace.”
Is jou hart goeie grond?
Bring vrede. Leef die koninkryk—hier en nou.
Resurrection Sunday isn’t just something we believe—it’s something we experience.
Through Jesus, the barrier is gone. The tomb is empty.
And the tree of life is no longer a place… it’s a Person.
Jesus didn’t start His ministry with power—He started by stepping into the water with sinners.
He identified with us so we could be made right with God.
Righteousness isn’t earned—it’s a gift.
God doesn’t build His story with perfect people—He builds it with willing ones.
Matthew’s genealogy isn’t a list of heroes. It’s a “family hedge” full of broken, messy lives—yet God uses every single one to fulfill His promise through Jesus.
Abraham doubted.
Jacob deceived.
David failed.
And still… God was faithful.
The same is true for you.
You’re not disqualified by your past—you’re invited into His story.
He had a promise. We have a Person.
You belong, even in your brokenness.
Your life is part of something bigger than you imagine.
God gebruik nie perfekte mense nie—Hy gebruik gewillige mense.
Jy is nie gediskwalifiseer nie.
God gebruik nie perfekte mense nie—Hy gebruik gewilligemense.
Jy is nie gediskwalifiseer nie.
The gospel is bigger than we’ve made it.
It’s not just about heaven someday — it’s about Jesus becoming King and bringing God’s kingdom to earth right now.
Matthew shows us a Jesus who fulfills every promise, restores what’s broken, and invites us to live under His reign.
The question is: will we trust Him and live it out?
God’s character is forgiveness. In a world filled with division and cancel culture, we’re called to reflect His mercy and reconciliation. Because we’ve been forgiven through Jesus, we are empowered to forgive others and restore relationships.
God’s heart has always been generational. From Abraham to Jesus, His plan has been to bless the world through people who say yes to Him — even imperfect ones.
We’re not just called to follow God for ourselves but to invest in the next generation, restoring hearts, building families, and discipling others into His kingdom.
The same God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob invites us to step into His story today.
God se plan strek verder as ons eie lewens.
In a world that feels unstable, unreliable, and constantly shifting, God remains steadfast.
In Esther, we see a faithful God working behind the scenes in a secular empire. In Jesus, we see that faithfulness made personal. In our own lives, we experience that faithfulness in the storm.
Because He is reliable, we can live with integrity.Because He is steadfast, we can be courageous.
Because He is faithful, we can build faithfully.
A faithful God doesn’t mean no storms — it means He is there in the storm.
God is nie wispelturig nie.
Hy is emit – standvastig, lojaal, oorvloedig in getrouheid.
Soos Maria Magdalena roep Hy jou naam.
Hy is Emmanuel.Hy is met jou.Hy sal getrou wees.
What does it mean that God is “abounding in love and faithfulness”?
In this message, we explore the Hebrew word hesed — God’s steadfast, covenant love. Through Exodus 34 and the story of Ruth, we discover a love that is sticky, selfless, and secure.
In a world shaped by transient relationships, consumerism, and cancel culture, God calls us to something deeper: enduring commitment, loyal love, and faithful presence.
Jesus is the ultimate embodiment of God’s hesed — the Redeemer who refuses to let go.
Who is one person you can “stick with” this week?
God describes Himself as “slow to anger.”
Not passive.Not indifferent.Not explosive.
Long-suffering.
Covenantal.
Restoring.
Through Joseph’s story, we see what happens when anger doesn’t hijack the heart — when betrayal, injustice, and rejection don’t turn into bitterness.
“What you meant for evil, God intended for good.”
What if our homes, marriages, and churches reflected that kind of long-suffering love?
God is nie impulsief of vernietigend in Sy woede nie. Hy is lankmoedig.
Hy kies vertroue.
Grace is not distant, polished, or untouchable.
Biblical grace comes low.
In Exodus, God comes down to reveal who he is.
In Jesus, grace descends even further — into dust, shame, and brokenness.
Grace preserves dignity.
Grace restores humanity.
Grace moves toward the undeserving.
And now, we’re invited to do the same.
Not to earn — but to respond.
Where is God inviting you to come low this week?
God isn’t only compassionate — He’s also perfectly just. In Exodus 34, God reveals Himself as merciful and gracious, yet committed to justice. From Eden to Gethsemane, we see mercy and justice “kiss” most clearly at the cross, where Jesus becomes our substitute and God remains both just and the justifier. And if we’re made in His image, we’re called to reflect Him: act justly, love mercy, walk humbly — starting with one person right in front of us.
In Eden roep Hy: “Waar is jy?”
We all live with competing voices.
Genesis 1 reminds us who we are: created in God’s image, commissioned, and loved.
Genesis 3 whispers fear, shame, and doubt — questioning God’s goodness and our worth.
This sermon invites us to rediscover Imago Dei — not as flawless people, but as restored ones. Through Jesus, broken crowns are not discarded; they’re rebuilt with gold. The call isn’t perfection, but discernment. Not striving, but intimacy.
God is compassionate. Trustworthy. Steadfast.
And His voice still restores what the enemy tried to fracture.
Trust isn’t saying you believe—trust is falling backward.
This message reminds us that we were created Imago Dei, declared ‘very good,’ and invited to truly know God—not just obey Him. The serpent’s oldest lie still whispers: ‘Is God really good?’ But when that voice is silenced, dignity is restored, identity is healed, and obedience becomes possible.
Radical trust leads to radical freedom.
Imago Dei verander alles.
A new year doesn’t automatically mean a new you. God has already given everything needed for life and godliness—but transformation happens when we make every effort to grow.
This sermon challenges us to stop reacting, stop drifting, and start practicing intentional habits that shape Christlike character. Grace isn’t opposed to effort—it empowers it.
What’s the one thing God is inviting you to grow in this year?
New year, same struggles?
The problem isn’t the calendar—it’s which “but” we follow.
"But I " keeps us stuck in excuses and limitations.
"But God " changes the story.
Psalm 73 reminds us: real transformation doesn’t come from fixing the outside, but from meeting God in the middle of our frustration. The gospel itself is a “But God” story—lost, broken, dead… but God intervened.
This year, don’t live from “but I can’t.”
Live from “but God can.”
God is bigger than your "but".
We live in a world full of noise—but God still speaks in thequiet.
Jesus often withdrew to lonely places to pray, showing us arhythm of retreat and return. In an age of constant distraction, solitude isn’toptional—it’s essential.
“Come away with me…and you’ll recover your life.”

“Come away with me…and you’ll recover your life.”
Jesus didn’t arrive late—He arrived with purpose.
In raising Lazarus, Jesus shows He is not only compassionate, but powerful over death itself. He weeps with us, feels our pain, and still calls life out of the grave. This isn’t just about future resurrection—it’s about believing that Jesus is present, powerful, and restoring now.
“I am the resurrection and the life.”
When the storms of life hit hard, Jesus doesn’t shout from a distance—He walks into the storm to meet you. Just like on the Sea of Galilee, His words still carry power: “Do not be afraid. I am with you.” You are never unseen, never alone, and never without hope.
Ek is by jou.’
Jesus doesn’t just perform miracles—He reveals who He truly is.
In John 6, the feeding of the 5,000 is more than a supernatural moment; it’s a sign pointing to Jesus as the Messiah, the Good Shepherd, the Passover Lamb, and the Bread of Life. He sees our needs before we speak them, cares with compassion, and multiplies even the smallest offering. When Jesus reigns, lack disappears. Come to Him with your hunger—He is more than enough.
This week’s message invites us into the story of the man atthe Pool of Bethesda — a man who suffered for 38 years, waiting for a miracle.Jesus meets him with a surprising question: “Do you want to be healed?” Melissa reminds us that many of us lie beside our own “Bethesdas,” placing our hope in circumstances, people, or outcomes instead of Jesus Himself. The sermon beautifully explores God’s compassion, His authority over sickness and sin, and His desire to free us from false hopes. We are invited not just to seek miracles, but to seek the Miracle-Worker who knows us, loves us, and restores us.
Jesus heals the nobleman’s son — but the greater miracle is that the nobleman and his household come to believe. This teaching reminds us that Jesus is not only powerful, but deeply personal. He sees us, knows us, and calls us to trust Him beyond what we can see.

👕 “Dare to be a Daniel.

In a compelling and heartfelt sermon, Tiaan Scott explores the deep ache of loneliness in modern culture and contrasts it with the life-giving power of biblical community.
