CSI 3380 Series 3G/HD/SD-SDI Fiber Transmission
The Fiberlink 3380 Series allows you to transmit 3G, HD or SD-SDI as per SMPTE 424M-2006, 292 and 259 with the ability to embed up to 4 channels (2 pairs) of analog line level audio. Convenient switches on the 3380 Series transmitter allow the operator to embed each of the two pairs of audio independently, to strip previously serialized audio, or to pass it through without modification. At the receive end of the fiber optic link, the operator can decide which audio pairs they need de-embedded.

Radio Design Labs HD-MA35U/A 35 W Mixer Amplifier
The HD-MA35UA is a four input audio mixer amplifier for systems demanding the broadest range of features and the highest energy efficiency. Two output power amplifier zones, 35 watts (Zone 1) and 4 watts (Zone 2), are driven from high-efficiency Class D amplifier stages. The mixer and amplifier sections all normally shut down (standby "sleep" mode) when audio is absent and automatically turn on when needed. The Zone 1 amplifier output level may be VCA controlled using various optional RDL remote controls, or by industry standard 0 to 10 Vdc or 0 to 10k ohm controls. This output provides a constant voltage output (25 V, 70 V or 100 V). The Zone 2 amplifier output drives an 8 ohm speaker and/or 600 ohm telephone equipment.
The HD-MA35UA is engineered, tested and manufactured in the U.S.A. to strict energy conservation standards. The unit consumes less than 1 watt of mains power in standby mode, and meets power amplifier efficiency specifications with analog-filtered Class-D digital output stages for both power amplifier output zones and for the 600 ohm output.
The HD-MA35UA features two mixers. The Zone 1 mixer is located on the front-panel providing user level and tone controls for the 35 watt amplifier output. The tone controls adjust the equalization at the Zone 1 amplifier output and can be switch selected on the rear panel to also adjust the equalization at the line-level output. The Zone 2 mixer on the rear panel provides level trimmers normally set by the installer to provide music-on-hold and/or for background music in a small zone equipped with an 8 ohm speaker. The Zone 2 section includes a 4 watt amplifier, a 600 ohm transformer-balanced MOH output, and an active balanced line-level output that may be used to feed another audio power amplifier.
The HD-MA35UA has four inputs that are common to both mixers. Inputs 1 and 2 accept balanced mic or line level sources. Inputs 3 and 4 accept unbalanced mono or stereo line-level sources.
Input 1 is switch-selectable MIC or LINE. Phantom voltage (IEC standard 24 Vdc) is switch-selectable for the microphone input. The line input is transformer isolated and accepts balanced or unbalanced, high or low impedance audio sources. A gain trimmer is provided to set the input preamplifier to the optimum gain for the installation.
A paging source is normally connected to Input 1. This input is equipped with push-to-talk terminals and with an adjustable threshold VOX circuit with LED threshold indicator, either (or both) of which may be set to duck ("fade down" or "mute") inputs 2, 3 and/or 4 by 25 dB when a paging signal is active on Input 1. The attenuated inputs fade up to normal volume when the paging message is finished. A rear-panel trimmer allows the start of the fade-up to be delayed from 2 to 6 seconds.
Input 2 is switch-selectable MIC or LINE. Phantom voltage (IEC standard 24 Vdc) is switch-selectable for the microphone input. The line input is active balanced and accepts balanced or unbalanced, high or low impedance sources. A gain trimmer is provided to set the input preamplifier to the optimum gain for the installation.
An RDL Dual-LED VU meter is provided on the rear panel to indicate proper gain adjustment for Inputs 1 and 2. Correct input gain adjustment insures adequate mixer stage headroom.
Inputs 3 and 4 each provide unbalanced stereo RCA input jacks, summed to mono.
The presence of a signal on any of the inputs causes the HD-MA35UA to fully turn on, activating both Zone 1 and 2 power amplifiers and all associated mixing, equalization and compressor circuitry. When input signals are absent, a delay timer is initiated. Rear-panel DIP switches are provided to set the power-down delay timer to a value between 10 minutes and 2 hours in 10 minute increments. After the time-out period, the HD-MA35UA enters the sleep mode until an input signal is received. The switches may be set to disable the sleep mode for systems specifying continuous amplifier operation...

Superior Cable Construction Means Superior Performance
The two 1505A RG-59 Type SDI coaxes in this composite cable construction feature 20 AWG solid .032" bare copper conductors, gas-injected foam polyethylene insulation, Duofoil plus tinned copper braid shields for 95% shield coverage and Black and White PVC jackets. These coaxes have been sweep tested from 5-1600 MHz and 1600-4500 MHz, achieving minimum Return Loss values of 23dB and 21dB, respectively.
The four 9451 single twisted pair audio/power coaxes are comprised of two 22 AWG stranded (7x30") tinned copper conductors, crush-resistant polypropylene insulation, overall Beldfoil shields for 100% coverage, 22 AWG stranded drain wire and a Matte Black overall PVC jacket. The pair jackets are brown/red and orange/yellow.

The DSLR-AGCY was developed to allow disabling of the Auto Gain Control in Canon and other similar HD DSLR cameras. This cable allows you to split your audio tracks. One end of the cable is used to stream a continuous tone from an iPod or other mp3 player to the camera. This fools the camera into lowering the audio gain. The other end of the cable is used to connect a microphone or preamp to the camera. Only one channel is recorded but that is easily resolved in post production by deleting the "tone" channel and duplicating your "good" channel. The JonyShot is a hand held or tripod mounted highly directional 24" parabolic microphone. It can be purchased ready to go with electronics or you can add your own electronics. The JonyShot has two comfortable grips on either side of the dish making it easy to hand hold and aim. The bottom of the unit has a mounting plate with 1/4" threads for mating to a tripod for fixed or aimed shots.
The isolated microphone mount accepts most handheld or shotgun microphones giving you complete control over the audio you are expecting. It will even accept a different mount if you prefer. The microphone is aimed to the rear center of the dish where the audio is concentrated and directed into the microphones element. Audio can be picked up from as little as 3 feet or as much as 500 feet depending on wind and weather conditions.
The optional microphone feeds into an optional preamp that outputs the audio to optional headphones for optimal aiming by the operator. The audio is also output to feed a cable or an optional wireless transmitter. Specifications:

CORIOview C2-6204 4-Window 3G-SDI Processor is based on TV One's exclusive CORIO®2 technology and has four 3G-SDI inputs plus a DVI-I input (for window, cascade or background use) to place up to 4 sizeable windows on a single DVI-I / 3G SDI output. Each window is powered by a CORIO®2 scaler providing full PIP flexibility.
3G-SDI resolutions up to 1080p60 are supported. High performance de-interlacing with motion-adaptive noise reduction are available for interlaced SDI and YPbPr sources. The unit provides a DVI-I output as well as a duplicate 3G-SDI capable output.
All settings are stored in non-volatile memory and are retained even when power is switched off. Ten user defined presets (controllable directly from the front panel or external communications) are also available to customize settings for various applications. A built-in LCD and menu system aids quick setup. Functions can be controlled via the front panel Push Buttons, RS-232/ RS-422/RS-485 or Ethernet.
Color borders and source labeling are also provided for each window. Four Still Image Stores are built into the unit which can each display one of ten user loadable graphic images to be used in place of an input. The CORIO®tool Suite integrates fully with the unit and most third party control systems interface directly with the entire C2 range of products.
Variable Zoom to 10X allows you to enlarge any part of the graphic image to fill the entire computer screen and position controls allow you to move around to any area desired. Variable Shrink to as little as 10% allows fitting multiple images next to each other, with full positional controls.
Colored stereo audio bars are available for each window, and show the live audio activity of an SDI source.
Advanced Features include Genlock, Chromakey, Lumakey and Mixing. The Key Mode allows any window to be keyed over any other with variable priority / layer control. The keyed image may be faded in and out.

If you work with digital audio, you need the DM500. The DM500 is both a Digital Audio Monitor and a Digital-to-Analog converter in a portable carry case. It accepts AES/EBU and S/PDIF digital audio formats from 27 through 96 kHz sample rate via XLR, BNC and RCA connectors. A 24-bit D/A converter feeds a powerful stereo headphone monitor amplifier, balanced analog line outputs and a stereo LED meter.
The DM500s display tells you everything you need to know about your digital audio signal including input level, sample rate, validity and errors.
