In this episode, I briefly discuss the rejection of God by His people at Sinai and the truth that He has ALWAYS invited us all to intimacy with Him. This is a noisy episode recorded while walking outside, and I did that on purpose to illustrate the way our relationship with God happens in the midst of everything else. So, it is noisy and the volume fluctuates (in a manner similar to the way we do not always hear God clearly as we go about our daily lives). That doesn’t change the fact that He is always here for us and near us. So, will you accept His invitation to intimacy? Are you in or out? In this episode, the following questions are tackled with insight from the Bible: Whose voice(s) are we listening to? Why do we find it so much easier to believe the bad than the good, the lies than the truth? Why do we so easily trade our inheritance for a “bowl of lentils” (replace with your most appropriate cultural equivalent)? Are we pursuing our inheritance, our destiny, what we were made for, what God has put in us that can change the world? Do we even know what our birthright, our destiny is? If not why not (for those last two questions especially)? Trying to figure out what our role, place, (spiritual) birthrights, calling, mantles, areas of authority and more is impossible if we are not hearing from God. Tune in for more.

The first episode of a series in preparation for the start of the new school year (and administrative year/cultural start of the business year) in most regions of the world, which coincides with the 30 days leading to Rosh Hashanah, and a week later, Yom Kippur.
While it is true that the veil was torn at the Cross by Jesus' death and resurrection, while we have full access to the Lord 24/7, all 365/366 days of the year, the spiritual reality of sacred festivals is still very relevant to us as humanity approaches end times and prepares for the return of the Bridegroom.
This episode focuses on the meaning of the month of Elul (whose first day is today, 31st August), its significance in relation to Song of Songs/Solomon 6:1-3, and what we can draw from this.

Abigail's marriage to Nabal gives us a great illustration of a Godly wife's integrity and sense of her identity in the Lord regardless of their husband's transgression. In a way, Abigail's situation might not be as extreme as Hosea's but she too remains faithful to God first and foremost and to her husband, modeling true submission (i.e. lifting up) and living out her role as Nabal's helper (i.e. paraclete) in a very inspiring way.
