Welcome, beautiful friends, to Episode 247 of "Be The CEO Of Your Life." Today, we're diving deep into the topic of worry. How many of you have found yourselves consumed by worry in the past five days? Or even in the past hour? It's time to challenge the myths surrounding worry and discover the truth behind this pervasive emotion.
Myth #1: Worry Equals Caring: Many of us have been conditioned to believe that worry is a sign of caring. We've heard phrases like "I worry because I love you." But the truth is, worry does not equate to caring. We can be deeply caring individuals without allowing worry to control us.
Myth #2: Worry Helps Us Prepare and Problem Solve: Contrary to popular belief, worrying does not help us prepare for or solve problems. It's like calling roadside assistance before you even have a flat tire. We cannot problem-solve for problems that haven't even occurred yet.
Myth #3: Worry Motivates Us: We often convince ourselves that worry is what motivates us to take action. But in reality, we can choose to take action based on love and purpose, rather than fear and worry.
Myth #4: Worry Protects Us from Negative Emotions: Many of us believe that worrying about bad things somehow lessens the impact if those things actually happen. But the truth is, worrying does not protect us from negative emotions. Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional.
Myth #5: Worry Prevents Bad Things from Happening: Lastly, we may cling to the belief that worrying can prevent bad things from happening. However, worrying about something does not have any influence on whether or not it will occur. Trusting in ourselves and our ability to handle whatever comes our way is far more empowering.
Conclusion: It's time to break free from the grip of worry and embrace a life filled with trust, love, and purpose. Remember, changing our relationship with worry takes time and effort, but it is entirely possible with dedication and support. Join me inside "Reset Your Mindset" and let's embark on this journey together. Thank you for listening, and I'll see you next week. Ciao ciao! 🎧 #BeTheCEOOfYourLife #WorryFreeLiving #MythBusting #MindsetReset

I am happy to be tuning in with you guys this week, I've got so much going on, in my own mind, and so many thoughts that I want to share with you guys, I've been taking lots of notes after my coaching sessions with my clients, just to see if I can find similar subjects of conversation, similar issues that my clients are struggling with. And two have struck me over the past few weeks.
The first one is the sense of feeling of being neglected. And it comes hand in hand with feeling overwhelmed, where you begin to feel like you've got really no energy left to give anything to anybody. And you're feeling so depleted, that you begin to feel neglected, and you begin to look for who is neglecting you. And often those tend to be the closest people to us, that we point the finger at. So that's one of the things that I want to talk about today how to fulfill your cup.
And then this other idea of finding the sweet spots in between spot in between being easygoing, but also high in high standards of, you know, living and work routine, and just boundaries and relationships. So like this duality that we might have some times in our mind where we're like, I'm either really easy going I'm really strict, and not really understanding, we're the in between eight, now I might be, I might be talking myself into two episodes.

Today it's a rebirth in many ways. And so my wish for you, is that you give yourself permission to feel healthy remorse and to feel toxic guilt. And to be self aware of the difference and how those two things feel differently for you. And to choose from here own after you've done feeling it, so you still have to feel it. But then, you continue to choose to not go down the path of toxic guilt, because you deserve better.
That's kind of like a rebirth of how you operate if guilt is been an emotion that you feel often. Lately, I've been coaching women who feel this often, which is why I'm so motivated to share it with you.
I wanted to share with you a recent a part of a recent email that I've received that, quite honestly has brought me through through all the feelings, all these feelings, because it's one beautiful in nature with so much love towards me, but also because it highlights the impact that coaching has. And although I've been coaching for a long time, it never I never stopped being surprised by the reach of coaching into somebody's life.

Money mastery has nothing to do with how good you are with numbers but rather, how much you believe you are worthy of having it. If you think you have some money mental blocks, this episode is for you!
Debbie Sassen is a Business and Money Mindset Coach and former Financial Planner. In this episode she explains that money is intimately involved with everything we do in life, and she tells us how to clear our money blocks to improve our relationship with money.
Have a troublesome relationship with money? This episode might be exactly what you need!
Bio for Debbie Sassen:
Debbie Sassen is a Business and Money Mindset Coach and former Financial Planner.
She helps midlife entrepreneurs create consistent 10K-20K months, without burnout and sacrificing their family. Because money is so intimately involved with everything we do in business, Debbie believes that clearing your money blocks makes EVERYTHING else easier.
Her coaching combines business strategy, money management and mindset to help entrepreneurs dissolve the family of origin money story and limiting beliefs that keep them stuck in a cycle of under-earning, overspending, and under-saving.
Unfortunately, too many women - and men - never learned how to understand money, earn abundantly, and manage their finances to build wealth.
Too many women, in particular, feel belittled and diminished by professionals in the financial industry.
Debbie believes it's time we changed that narrative! None of us should have to dim our lights and brilliance to build a solid financial reality for ourselves and our families - now and in the future! When we own our wealth and take responsibility for it, we give other people permission to shine their brilliance brightly, too.

High achievers have many amazing skills. We jump into action, we do as much as needed to see the end result happening and we are willing to fail as many times as possible in order to make things happen. HOWEVER, we also tend to be very hard on ourselves and place unrealistically high expectations on ourselves.
We confuse high expectations with high standards.
In this episode, business coach Kat Arapis and Life coach Olga Lacroix talk about the tools they teach their clients to lower their not humanly possible expectations but, without sacrificing their quality of work and high standards.
Listen in, because there is a way to achieve without stress.

When life gives you lemons, what do you do?
LEMONADE!
Easier said than done, right?
One of the reasons I enjoy mindset coaching is because I get to teach others how to use their mindset powerfully and in their favor, no matter how many lemons life throws at them! In this episode, I am interviewing a coach who has lived with very difficult diagnoses and has beautifully used her mindset to help her heal.
Join me in an episode that will give you hope and tools to cope with difficult life events.

No matter their age, as long as you’re a parent, you have a very important job that comes with no instructions and it is very challenging. We are left to figure it out ourselves.
We follow patterns our parents did, some of us have educated ourselves on best practices, but we are never quite sure if we are doing it right. Right?
Well, in this episode, I interviewed a parenting coach expert who walks us through five steps that makes parenting less about “fixing” and more about intentional communication.

If you have ever said that you are “not a techy woman” please listen to this episode.
You will be pleasantly surprised to realize that you are in fact techy and that beginning to own this title and perception of you is not just helpful to you, but to all the women in our future generations to come.
Not long ago it was thought that women’s brains were smaller than men. We all know how much BS was in that thought. Nonetheless we believed it. Thinking that you are not techy is perpetuating a long history of not good enough that women have carried for years and it is time to put to rest.
Listen to my conversation with Tech expert, Nicole Trick

Three takeaways:
Inspiration:“Whether you work on finances, production, schooling or social work, if you are turning a light switch on and off, if you are using a whiteboard, a phone and a computer, you are a woman in technology.”

This episode will give you the exact steps to follow when you fall of the plan.
Whether your plan was to lose weight, to start a new hobby or to save money, we all tend to quit when we “fail” at making perfect progress.
As humans, we will never be perfect, which is why it’s so important that we learn to fail. That’s right, failure is a skill. It needs to be developed. Listen for more details.
Audio clip:
your biggest enemy here is gonna be your own mind who's gonna say if you make it okay to fail, you're going to be a constant failure. That's not true. Actual failure means not getting re engaging in your plan might quitting before because you think one mistake was too big to continue. So first thing is to make it okay. Really give yourself permission to come up with a plan. And in fact expect that you know, I used to be an addictions counselor, that was my first job as a therapist. And we did relapse prevention the entire time. And we did relapse not only prevention, but once you if you like, like almost like a safety plan for when you did have a relapse. And we used to tell our clients expect relapses as part of your recovery. Expect them if you expect them to, you know and we talked about we will just go over and over the steps that they would take once a relapse happened. We expected them. So I want you to think of yourself as like okay.

This episode will walk you through some basic steps to stop the mean inner conversation in your head.
Thoughts can be like beautiful flowers or like nasty weeds. Our job is to take care of the garden in which they grow (the mind). Everyone needs to clean the garden from weeds, so our mind is no different. We need to clean the mind on a regular basis in order to ensure that our “weedy” thoughts aren’t taking up all the space in which beautiful flowers can grow.
Grab pen and paper, because in this episode, you will need to take notes.

Making small decisions every day compound to big results later.
Before you make a decision ask yourself: What would it be the compound result of making this same small decision every day, for a full year?

Whether you suffer from decision paralysis or, you have a hard time creating new habits, I encourage you to listen to this short episode, as we start getting out minds ready for a full new year.

You are interested in coaching or therapy, but you are terrified of doing it in a group setting. Your worst fear is to feel embarrassed, to feel rejected and to expose yourself vulnerable in front of others.
In this episode we break down the myths people have about getting help in a group setting and we highlight why this type of work is far more beneficial than only doing one on one work.
Therapist and life coach Tanya Cole-Lesnick joined me this week in the podcast to share her experience and her findings with regards to how women thrive in a community setting.
If you are sitting on the sidelines wondering if you would ever join any kind of group work, have a listen and draw your own conclusions.
Bio for Tanya Cole-Lesnick:
Tanya Cole-Lesnick has been a psychotherapist (licensed clinical social worker) and coach since 1995. She received her master’s degree in social work from New York University after group therapy changed her life. She has extensive experience in outpatient hospital mental health, private practice, and wellness center settings. From those experiences over the years she has identified her most important focus—helping people to clear energetic clutter so they can focus on what matters most to them. She does this by helping clients to access and honor their truth, to change habits that don’t serve them, and to heal faulty narratives so that they are living in alignment inside and out. Her work revolves around a combination of intimate therapeutic groups and individual sessions, as the sharing of inner worlds and being human together in a safe space—collectively and individually—is an incredibly powerful combination that leads to lasting transformation.

Three takeaways:
Research shows that women heal faster when they belong to a community of support.
Group work is far more effective that one on one sessions.
The fear of group work is based on myths your mind believes to be true.
Inspiration:
“You could be a source of inspiration to somebody and equally, there could be people in the group that make you think that if they overcame tha, then I can certainly overcome my own thing.”

In this episode, we are going to be talking with certified coach Marie Lewallen McDonald about breaking down how change-makers think and act so that you can do what they do- and take your ideas out of your head and put them into the world where they belong- today.
The more we believe in our own ideas, the more we recognize the ideas that others have, that we can believe in. We know that dissenting opinions of variety, diverse opinions, diverse groups and backgrounds, they make work better, they make the world better. And so when we can open our minds to recognize ideas and possibility, it is creating a more thriving world, and more possibility for others.
Listen to this week’s episode of Journey To Happy to find out how you can start creating BIG things in your life.
Bio for Marie Lewallen McDonald:

What if it took you longer to get to where you wanted to get? But the destination is way better than the initial one that you thought you could get to?
In this episode we are going to be talking to my friend and CEO coaching client Micheline all about how she has learnt overtime to change her mindset for the better as well as how she has learnt to be Ok with where she is and to “sit in the mud” sometimes.
Sometimes we forget in the midst of the storm that life somehow always works out. We forget that because we're so stressed out, or we're thinking of all the possibilities of how things can go wrong but when you take a step back, it works itself out. Sometimes we just need to be ok with where we are and that it will work itself out.
Bio for Micheline:
My name is Micheline and I am a 40 something wonderful years old Anishinaabe woman, happily married and the mother to 2 of the cutest fur babies (dogs). I am a true nature lover at heart and thrive on spending time outdoors and observing wild animals and plants.

Do you ever feel that you have a lot of guilt and obligation, and sometimes even resentment when you're doing things for yourself and for others?
Today's episode is all about how to clean our energy so that we can live a simple, happy, free of guilt, free of fear life.
If you were to truly ask yourself, “why am I doing this?”, you will always bring it back to somebody else's expectations of yourself, or that someone will be hurt if you stop doing this thing. All of those feelings come from not having clean energy.
The motive, the reason that motivates you to your goal has to come from clean energy or else, you will lack consistency and enjoyment while working towards your goal.
Listen to this week’s episode of Journey to Happy to hear the steps on how to clean your own energy.

-What is clean energy?
-The steps to take to clean your own energy.
-How to get off of autopilot in your life.

In this episode we're going to answer the question “why do we stay longer than we want to feeling these unwanted, difficult emotions?
You stay in an unwanted emotional state way longer than you desire for one simple reason… Resistance. What you resist, persists. It is not just a saying, it is the truth. No emotion, no circumstance and no pain lasts forever. You won't be “in the hole” of having difficult emotions forever, but you will stay longer than you need to if you don't follow the two steps I talk about in this episode.
Listen to this week’s episode of Journey to Happy to find out the two steps to help dig yourself out of that emotional hole.

On today’s episode we're going to be talking about complaining. Why it doesn't work, why we do it, what is the root cause of it and what to do instead of complaining.
I bet you anything, you're not the only one who thinks complaining is a form of communication. I suppose any kind of words are a form of communication, but complaining is not an efficient way of communicating what we actually want to communicate. Nobody wants to hear anybody complain. Nobody has time for that. There are many more efficient ways in which we can process frustration and problem solve and I am here to share those tips with you.

Do you ever feel that it is hard to make genuine friendships as an adult? That it doesn’t come as easy as it once did when you were younger?
On today’s episode we are going to be talking with my friend Lucie about how to cultivate friendships as an adult, how to get what YOU need out of a friendship, as well as how to be the friend that you would want in your life.
Lucie Bacchiochi has been working as an educator for the last 8 years and has had a career working in the Child Welfare field for 23 years. She thrives on helping families and students set goals and strategies on how to get the positive outcome that they want to accomplish while being supportive and understanding.
There is something important in friendships when you're feeling like people are superficially connecting to you or that the connection is not very strong. Ask yourself, “how intentional are you about this friendship?” If you were to use intentionality then perhaps you wouldn't be feeling that intentional about keeping this friendship.
Listen to this week’s Journey to Happy to see how you can be intentional about friendships while staying true to yourself.
Bio for Lucie:
My name is Lucie Bacchiochi and I’ve been working as an educator for the last 8 years and I had a career working in the Child Welfare field for 23 years. I thrive on helping families and students set goals and strategies on how to get the positive outcome that they want to accomplish while being supportive and understanding.
I met Olga over 10 years ago and our passion to help people and positive outlook on life made our friendship blossom over the years.
My proudest accomplishment has to be being a mother to my three beautiful children who have taught me more than ever to live a mindful life and to cherish family and friends. I believe that motherhood is the greatest experience in a woman’s life, but it comes with plenty of challenges including keeping healthy relationships in your life.

How do you define a problem?
Today we're going to be talking about the steps that I follow to solve a problem. These steps have really helped me center my mind on problem solving, and also on understanding “why is this a problem?” and “what will be required of me and my thinking to resolve this problem?”
In this episode I will walk you through where you can use your brain to problem solve, to push your limits of thinking of possibility, to take full responsibility for what belongs to you, to make new choices, to commit to them, to sell yourself on why that's a good idea and so much more.
Listen to this week’s episode of Journey to Happy to hear about all the helpful tips I share on how to problem solve effectively.
Inspiration:
“You can use your brain to minimize your experience, to undervalue and victimize yourself,or, you can use it to problem solve with compassion and to feel empowered. You get to choose in which way you want to stretch your brain. Both equal work both give you results. You get to choose what results you want.”

Have you ever expressed gratitude beforehand?
Before landing the promotion, before the favor is made, before making the money, before evidence that what you want will be here, have you expressed gratitude?
In this episode we are going to talk about feeling gratitude before having evidence.
When you connect to gratitude before the thing you want is even here, you open the doors to abundance and confidence. This is what some call the “done energy” in the sense that you trust that good things are coming before they come. As supposed of letting your brain stay in doubt mode as to whether or not what you want is ever coming.
Being grateful before evidence is all about letting go of doubt and fear when you are co-creating your life. It is about planting seeds of trust, abundance and excitement while you are working towards your goals and desires.
Listen to this week’s episode of Journey To Happy Podcast to find out how you can feel gratitude without having the evidence to back it up yet.
Three take aways:
Inspiration:
“You don’t need to know how it’s going to happen you just need to affirm to yourself through gratitude, that it’s going to happen”
What does it mean when we say something is “meant to be”?
In this episode we're going to talk about things that are meant to be, what it actually means, and how we can just accept whatever we're going through today, because maybe, it is going to land us exactly where we need to go, even if it is away from our original plans.
There is no surprise that our mental health and our confidence is damaged on a daily basis, on an hourly basis, by the way in which we communicate with ourselves. That mean inner dialogue, the way we speak to ourselves can increase our confidence or completely decrease it. So if you begin to take note of how you think, and then you begin to give importance to how you think to that voice. And then you begin to talk to yourself, like you talk to somebody that you love with kindness, with understanding. There is no way your mental health will not thrive within a very friendly inner environment.
Listen to this episode to learn my favorite 4 steps to shift that inner dialogue.
Three take-aways from this episode:

Coaching Opportunities:
What tells you that you are off balance?
We tend to think we are out of balance when we are about to make sudden changes in our lives, for instance being a businesswoman to becoming a mother. We fear that we might fail to do both and have a balanced life while managing to be the best in two things at the same time.
In today's episode, we are going to audit together our beliefs about a balanced life. What tools I've been using since becoming a mom have helped me re-establish my relationship with balance and how it's ever-changing.
I'm going to give you those tools throughout the episode and if you think this will work for you and you like it, do your community a favor and share it.

The brain either focuses on creation or destruction. There is a creative energy that is forming amazing experiences and there is the negative energy that is destroying the life of your dreams.
How can we master focusing only on creative energy?
There is a faculty of your brain that uses discipline and can be incredibly powerful to you. This is the power that highly successful people are grasping. They also master focusing on tangible things and not the dreamy type of manifestation that implies that if you just think hard enough, then you will get all that you desire.
In this episode, I want to explain to you the power of mastering this creative energy and simple techniques for you to learn how to do what you manifest. This will help you only focus on what you want without distractions and fear of stepping out of what makes us feel safe.

It’s the quiet ones that exude the most power. This is because their transformation from shyness to loud strength requires a stronger level of work and dedication to themselves.
In today’s episode, I speak with Lina, who in my head is an underdog. She came into the Reset Your Mind course just identifying the many things she had to work through and really doubting herself. She wanted to progress in her career and was too afraid of moving forward because of previous life experiences in Colombia. She became aware that she was afraid of leading and didn't know how. She needed to learn from other courageous women that have overcome really difficult situations in life.
With a shift in her mindset, Lina was able to accomplish higher levels of confidence and so much more.
“I started thinking positively. It was like, I can do it all! So I felt comfortable. I felt confident.” - Lina

My doors will be opening soon for the September cohort of my Reset Your Mindset group. I'm also going to be offering a Detox The Mind, five-date live coaching in September, September 12. So if this is for you, if you are a perfectionist, attached to achievements, overdoing, constantly fed up with your own mind, wanting to get a break from thinking so much from feeling disappointed from being so hard on yourself. I want to coach you through that.
Going for the life of your dreams is to dive into a thick layer of discomfort. It is easier for us to look away from what’s really painful and just go around the edges onto another painful area. But what happens when you allow yourself to feel comfortable in the pain and be willing to be open to the support of others?
In this episode, my friends, Janine and Myriem are just finishing their first round of Reset Your Mindset. And in these past 12 weeks, they both have had beautiful transformations happen. I thought if I was to tell you their story, I would really cut corners. So I invited them to the show since I know I would not do justice to their own experience of seeking support. It is important that you listen to their beautiful voices and their new commitment to living the life of their dreams.
“I think the biggest thing is we deserve as women to feel good and we make others feel good when we feel good. It helps us to be better moms, better friends, and better cheerleaders. And it also helps us to feel better as people too.” - Janine

Everyone is a work in progress. And we also have to understand that we're not perfect. No, one's perfect. We all have things that we're working on and that's why we decide to change our mindset through life coaching.
In this episode, Geneviève and Melissa, and I talk about the amazing advantages of signing up for anything self-help as well as the real obstacles we face when we decide to take a step towards our own personal development and growth.
“I am forever grateful to all of the very difficult life experiences that have taught me the tools that I now teach because I wouldn't have been able to be such a good teacher of these tools.” - Geneviève

Those of you who feel that you can never quite connect in your relationships, and never feel valued or understood are all symptoms of a lack of boundaries in a relationship.
Grownups have the capacity to have these thoughts and emotions and eventually process having these boundaries to the best of their ability. They can either disagree, agree to disagree, or agree to part ways in a relationship or do something else as part of their processing.
But, what happens if we choose not to have boundaries and accept it all?

Why do we have such a hard time deciding to invest in ourselves?
I hired a new coach and I've got all these thoughts about what it felt like to make this investment. My mind had so many thoughts about why that was a scary move, and why I shouldn't invest that much money since it's very expensive. What if I didn't bring that money back? What if I failed at trying her strategic steps and tools? What if it didn't work for me?
I came to the conclusion that ultimately the thoughts that I let get in the way of me making that investment was that I couldn't cope with the reality of having invested this much money in myself, on my self-growth and self-development in my business, and not make it work.

Many of us think productivity equals visible results. It’s about achieving success and goals through having results that show all the time. But productivity is not just about seeing results, it’s also about having the ability to think with clarity, the output of energy you have internally, and how you can cultivate the key elements that feed your productivity.
I believe, that for you to be productive, you have to cultivate four key elements: mental clarity, organization, prioritization, and taking action. However, how do you break down the elements of your day to ensure you become productive? How do you distribute your 100 percent among all the elements to achieve your goal of productivity? That’s where the 80/20 rule comes in.

Uncertainties in life are inevitable. These are things we don’t control and because of that, some people end up wanting to fix everything. Out of fear, they want to fix things to control the outcome. However, does fixing really solve the problem?
In this episode, I would like to share why the fixing mode is not the answer to life’s uncertainties and problems. How you can get out of it and how you can revert from the fixing mode into confidence mode.
The only thing certain is that life is uncertain. And the sooner you start accepting life’s uncertainties, the sooner you can release the fear of not being able to cope with outcomes.

We have all been the person who thinks; “if only I apply a little more worry, a little more micro-managing and supervision, then the outcome we want will be inevitable”. I enjoy working with Type A, overachiever women because it reminds me of some of the early mindset work I’ve had to do to get out of my controlling tendencies.
Especially, when we have experienced unexpected, difficult circumstances, we create a thought that gives us the illusion that somehow, we can control every outcome and live a life of zero or little unknowns.
Life is full of surprises, the future is not known and we waste lots of our vital energy in control mode attempting to avoid outcomes we don’t want.
In this episode, I will share with you why we turn to “controlling mode”, how it negatively affects our nervous system, our happiness, and even our relationships, and I will teach you how to change the need to control, for the ability to trust.

Everyone can do it. All you have to do is show up and do not put an expiration date on your goals and keep going. - Desi

Research tells us that it takes 21 days to create a new habit, but as research progressed it has been found out that 21 days is just halfway to creating a new habit. This explains why many of us fail despite successfully completing the 21 days.
In this episode, I want to share with you new research that has helped me a lot in creating new habits. The information I’ve learned has been empowering, creative and realistic. And as a coach, I can realistically say that it takes 66 days on average to have a strong built habit.

Recently, my husband and I spent a weekend away from each other. He went to Chicago to spend time with his younger sister, and I stayed home with Matteo and our three dogs. My husband and I don’t always share the same interests. For instance, Football is something he loves, and I don’t. And that’s one of the things I love about our marriage, having our own differences and interests. These are opportunities for us to do things apart, to be our own self. Then come back feeling recharged.
During this time, I was able to spend some quality time with my son. We did some fun activities, had takeaways, spent a day at the farm, and just really enjoyed our time together. At the end of the day, I texted my husband to tell him I miss him, and moments like this are so important.
In this episode, I’d like to share the four words that have literally shifted and changed my life. These four words have changed the way I present myself to myself and to the world. And just like my relationship with my husband, it has transformed my life in ways I could only imagine.

I am about to start coaching the new cohort of Becoming the CEO of Your Own Life, which is my 12 month coaching program. And one of the first things that I get the group to get focused on is building a solid morning routine.
The reason for it is because when I look back, I went through anxiety, stress, and had struggles with my overall health. And the common denominator is neglecting myself when it comes to self care. I was the last person on the list of people I care about. And that's what brought me to a morning routine.
In this episode, I want to talk to you about implementing and creating a morning routine that doesn't take three hours. It is so important that we start the new year with a fresh start. And think about what things we need to start doing and things we need to stop doing. Our end goal is that after listening to this episode, you will be inspired to begin your own morning routine.

My clients often tell me they are afraid to show emotion because they don’t want to be seen as weak. It is our human nature to want to be seen as strong, especially when we have to be strong for our loved ones.
In this episode, I would like to break this into a few aspects. For you to be able to process your emotions in the right way, and not having to hide them. Emotion doesn’t make you weak, it actually makes you stronger.

I’m sitting here drinking my favorite coffee, and as I enjoy this moment I cannot wait to share with you the thoughts that are in my head.
Recently, I have talked about how circumstances don't determine your future. And somewhere along the line, I wanted to explore a little bit more about our thought process. How we discourage ourselves so often from our goals and from the things that we want, because we have beliefs that go against what we want.
In this episode, I want to talk about how it’s important for us to learn not to judge our feelings. Aside from being a Life Coach, I’m also a Certified Mindfulness Instructor. And non-judgement is one of the learnings that I enjoy understanding, applying, and teaching.

This week, I had a chance to have a deep conversation with my assistant. After a photoshoot, me and my assistant went to lunch to celebrate and that gave me the chance to know more about her.
She opened up and said that sometimes she feels like she’s not where she needs to be, and that also brought me back to my own personal experience of the same situation. And as I've recently decided that anybody who works for me, will be coached by me, and I'm willing to do that, as long as that person is also interested. And this is the perfect moment to do that.
In this episode, I would like to share with you how my life became the perfect example of how your current circumstance doesn’t define your tomorrow.

Christmas is just around the corner! Like me, a lot of people are into the spirit of Christmas. The gift giving, celebration, and time with family and friends excites us. However, not all of us feel the same. Some people dislike this occasion, and that’s for a lot of different reasons…
Some people may link Christmas to a bad memory, or it could be financial stress, or it could even be the mood the cold weather brings in December. I think it is important to be aware that not everyone loves Christmas, and that this is the opportunity to practice that Christmas spirit by showing our presence for these people.
In this episode, I would like to encourage you to think about who could really use some of your love and presence. Christmas is not just all about the material gifts, the food, and the celebration. Christmas is more than that, it is all about the people. And our presence is by far the best gift we can give and receive.

Being positive is not necessarily good. Why? First of all, the word positive is overused. Second, positive can come from being good, but can also come from being bad. In a way, it’s meaning and use can be classified as vague. Instead of focusing on positivity, I’d like you to focus on something better, and that is POWER.
In today's episode, I would like to share with you why power is more important than being positive. Positivity can set your mindset, but power gives you the initiative to act towards your goals. How you start your day declares the rest of your existence. Make powerful choices and practice powerful habits.

For most of us, being given a diagnosis determines our outlook. The upper hand is on our diagnosis, and somehow controls us. In that process, we sometimes lose trust in the professionals and physicians that are helping us along our journey.
Just recently, while driving with my mother-in-law, we were listening to a preacher on the radio share about how a 96 year old woman got healed because she refused to believe her diagnosis. The essence of his story was we live our lives based on what we choose to believe. If we believe we’re healthy or cured, that can sometimes become true in our physical body.
In this episode, I’d like to touch on a topic that can empower you, change your view on diagnosis, and how not to let your diagnosis define you.

Victim mentality is blaming others and expecting negative things to happen. And sometimes, we don’t even know that we’re doing it. Having this mentality is an easy way out, it’s easier to blame others and take no responsibility for it. It’s easy, but it causes someone to suffer.
In this episode, I’d like to share with you how to get out of the victim mindset. How to take over your life and use that power to transform what was once a victim, into being your own superhero.

Becoming a mother creates a huge change in our lives. Sometimes we’re just caught off guard, and at one point we don’t even recognize ourselves anymore...
This is exactly what happened to Erin Girouard. She went through postpartum anxiety with her first pregnancy and got pregnant during the global pandemic. In both events Erin lost herself to motherhood. Until one day she decided to take control, and that’s when she turned her life around back to the person she was.
Her story is every mom's story. In the beauty of motherhood, a lot of times we find ourselves giving everything we have, just because that’s what moms do. And slowly, we just lose who we are pre-motherhood.
Erin takes us on a journey of learning to find yourself. Amidst trials in motherhood, the global pandemic, and postpartum anxiety. She managed to make herself better and inspire women like her.

But..this shouldn’t be the case.

I cannot tell you how many times the conversations in my coaching groups are around becoming confident. As a life coach, sometimes people put me on a pedestal and think I don’t know what it's like to not be confident. But the opposite is true. Most people who are in a position of coaching or helping or coaching people through something that they themselves have overcome. And to me this is true.
I think that confidence is something that has been, especially my early early life, something that I've always learned to grow into and lean into. And just recently on Mother's Day, I realised I still have work to do. I've made so much progress, but I've noticed that I continue to need to do some work.
The work around growing to be confident is not what you think it is. It’s not about becoming powerful, and maybe even bitchy or mean. It's about becoming incredibly aware and loving towards ourselves.
This podcast episode will help you appreciate and respond to yourself. Tune in for my experiences and advice on growing into being confident!

Learning to cope with difficult people is key, as we're going to encounter many of those people at some point in our lives. In fact, I bet that you yourself have been a difficult person at some point in somebody's life, it's just nature.
A very common suggestion is to cut difficult people out of your life, but I think that's not always realistic. You can't avoid everybody who you find difficult. What if that difficult person is a family member? What if it's a coworker? What if it's your boss? Are you going to forever and ever avoid seeing a relative or not going to work?
Personally, I have never used avoidance as the solution to dealing with difficulty in my life ever, ever, ever, ever. I choose courage over avoidance for many reasons, but primarily because I love how I feel about myself when I look back, and I think ‘that was hard, and I did it’. That feeling fuels me to do this again and again and again.
In order to properly cope with a difficult person, we have to be ready to apply some self control and to employ our best resources to set limits and be authentic. So in this episode, I will give you some of my ideas as to how you can deal with difficult people in your life. It is possible!

Today's discussion focuses on body image, and we will get into what is the secret to a positive body image, and acceptance.
Self-criticism of one's body is so common among women as if we should be sending the message to ourselves. That's really uncalled for. Authenticity is more powerful than perfectionism since nobody is ever perfect.
Everyone wants to feel loved, trusting, connected, free from judgment, honest, and someone who accepts them as they are. Those elements should be incorporated into our relationship with our body image.
The truth is, I have struggled with my body image myself. My logical brain tells me things such as: “why wouldn't you like your body?” No matter how big or small I am or have been, I will admit, I have struggled with liking my body. The most important thing is to understand, at some point, it's not about size or liking it, but about loving our bodies.
By listening to this episode, you will:
Learn how to begin to create trust and connection in a judgement-free relationship with yourself
Learn how to look past your body image and learn what matters most

As empaths themselves, Olga and Simi Botic talk in this episode about what it is like to feel all feelings and in such an exaggerated way. Being an empath can sometimes feel like a curse: we feel too much, we care too much, we don’t seem to be able to disconnect frequently enough, and we tend to ignore our beautiful selves all too often.
How can I possibly feel less? This is a question many of Olga’s empath clients ask her. Even Olga asked herself the same question for years until she learned the gift hidden all along, waiting to be turned into a superpower.
In this episode, you will learn:
Make sure you check out Simi Botic's website and follow her along on her Instagram page @SimiBotic. If you're looking for a great way to move and celebrate your body, be sure to check out UNMEASURED!

How often do you do the things that help you manage anxiety?
Personally, I used to only do it when the anxiety was really bad. But somewhere in my 20’s I realized that I was trying to fix an issue with a bandaid when it needed surgery. Since then, I have been adopting these routines that I share here with you, to manage anxiety on a regular basis and not just when it is bad.
