He needs our PRAYERS!! Dr. Jordan Peterson is a well-known Psychologist, professor, Public Speaker, Author, Podcaster, and more, and I personally have benefitted greatly from listening to and reading his works. In the last few years his views on God have evolved from Atheist to sort of Theist, Sort of because he does reject the title of "atheist", but says He lives like there is a God, which He finds more beneficial than proclaiming it but not living like it.
Regardless of whether He 100% believes in God or The Lord Jesus Christ for that matter, he is obvious actively considering this and seems to be on a journey. I personally pray that this path leads him to Christ! Either way, I think his views and knowledge have immense value and it's a pleasure to share and discuss.

This is a complex subject, no doubt. What we hope to do is just share what we know to help guide ALL of us in our approach to studying Scripture. There are a lot of different texts out there, and many say our Bible is not complete because some books were taken out. Then there are some books referenced in the bible that are not in the bible. There are plenty of extrabiblical texts to be considered, like Jasher and Jubilees, Enoch, and More. What do we do with all these?? Just ignore them and say the 66 is good for me?

I am sure many believers think that the Jewish people, for the most part, are the people of God following Moses, living according to the Old Testament. This is hardly the case. In Jesus' time, he accused them of following the traditions of men (Talmud and religious rituals) and not really following modes. Shortly after Jesus's death, around 67 AD their Temple was destroyed by the Romans, and subsequently, around 96 AD their leaders moved the faith into the Rabbinic system they have been practicing since, largely based on the Oral Torah, or Talmud.

With the belief that there are no modern prophecy or dreams, theologians like Justin Peters and others believe that the Bible is the ONLY way God speaks to you today.
Not to take away from the benefit of the Scriptures or the HIGH regard we all, as Christians, have from them….but that isn’t right! And does the Bible even say this? Is this how the early Church acted or what they taught?

Many popular theologians today do not believe in modern-day Christians' ability to dream prophetically meaningful dreams or to speak prophecy. Really it seems they believe that ALL the gifts of the spirit have ceased.
They support this belief with the idea that we have a "Closed Canon". That Jesus was and is the final word and only what its contained in the Modern Bible is the "God speaking"

Christian movies like the Left behind series promotes a popular Christian view today, that the Church will be taken from the earth (raptured) before the end times period known as the Great Tribulation. This used to be my personal view. Used to.
The “Pre-tribulation Rapture” is not a biblically sound teaching. We could get into the history of this teaching and its first teachers; instead, I want to share the key scriptures with you all and point you to very clear passages that let us know what we should be prepared for.

Almost as an attack, people will mention that "the Bible was written by men" and therefore a good reason to question it or not subscribe to certain teachings found within it. I say "almost as an attack" because the statement itself offers no serious threat to the text itself on the Christian faith. Clouds without rain... doubts without anything to substantiate it. We expect quarrels from nonbelievers. We expect them to be against the Bible. What can catch us off guard is when self-professing believers argue against their own bible. When quoting Scriptures to a believer is met with rejection, where do we go from here. And if you "stand on the Word" will these same believers turn on you, even possibly fulfilling the words of Jesus , "And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another." (Matt 24:10) and "And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death." (Matthew 10:21). Are we approach this time?

TRUMP: Has there ever been another name that created such polarization as we see today? It's beyond Red vs. Blue, Republican vs. Democrat, Conservative vs Liberal. Some many claims against him, some accurate some less accurate...but which is which. What is true? Has he done anything to help America or is he just a tweet-happy racist, sexist, xenophobic monster?

Angles and woman having children? Righteous Heritage of Seth having children with unsaved women? We had very different views on this for years! with many arguments!
In this episode we discuss our different views on the subject and how we ultimately came together. It seemed so unconventional to Keith that angels would have children with humans and he had also received teaching from his church and bible college that it was simple saved men and unsaved women. Leaning on the authority of his church teachers He clung to the conventional understanding of Genesis 6, while Tj and Sharea held the view of angels coming down had took human women as their wives.
What must be considered is the biblical account, additional cross referenced Scriptures, extra-biblical scriptures such as the Dead Sea Scrolls (DSS) and the 1 Book of Enoch, as well as historical text such as Josephus and the early Christian quotes. Among these sources the Angelic view is the prominent, almost singular, view of the Genesis 6 event. What this all boiled down to, however, is the biblical definition of the phrase "Sons of God"?

You would never guess that such a positive person had such a difficult life. At the age of 12, his Father shot him and his sister, he was practically homeless through his teen years sleeping from couch to couch and ended up married with children unable to provide. With so many marriages ending in divorce today as well as the Christian faith being the most prominent religion, many are left asking the question " What does the Bible say about Divorce an Remarriage?" Does God want me unhappy, or abused? Does God want me lonely?

In this episode we tried to address what we see from both sides: What theist believe is evidence, and what evidence atheist might be looking for. It's important to understand where each other are coming from, and try to offer information that everyone receives. Not just what we are personally convinced of. There are some gray areas and places where we differ but we should do the best we can.
At the end of it all, there are reasonable arguments on both sides and it's a healthy conversation to discuss.

The Georgetown Council passed a new ordinance this passed December essentially preventing the homeless from using tents in town limits. Jim said its criminalizing homelessness, others disagree.

So this conversation was difficult because it focused heavily on the black/white racism perspective of America. While this definitely plays a role, we really need to consider the many ways our Race is treated a priority over our belief in our God.
Almost everyone believes God is a spirit and that all humans come from one place, so lets not get too focused on skin color and earthly culture...but instead on the spirit and attributes of our Creator.

Dr. Karen Hutchins, Co-Pastor of Frontline Ministries in Dover, DE, joined us in the studio tell us about her experience leaving a christian cult and of the message in her new book "From Damaged to Destined". Coming to the U.S. from Belize with a Catholic up-bringing, she found herself in a Christian church in California. This turned out to be no church at all but a cult dead set on separating her from husband and children.
We had an amazing conversation which continued quite a bit even after we were off air. She, and her associate Nicole, shared our passion for Christ, for the Scriptures and the awareness of todays christians great insufficiency when it comes to Scriptural knowledhge and walk with God.

This story was so bad we had to cover this! The video of the whole events tells a VERY different story then the one told by almost all the mainstream media.
The Real Story according to the Full Video shows the Hebrew Israelites, a Race based cult, verbal attacking Natives and saying a variety of crude vulgar foul and aggressive things to both natives and the white teens. When the white teens showed up they called them crackers, incest babies, homosexuals, and made threats against them. The only supported the natives once the native, Nathan Phillips and his company of other natives, began approaching the school kids. Nathan Phillips made no attempt to get to the Lincoln Memorial. He went directly towards the school kids, and even walked up to Nick Sandmann's. What we saw in msm was Nick Sandmann standing his ground, but make no mistake....its was Nathan Phillips and the Natives who were at fault here, as well as the Hebrew Israelites. These were adults verbally attacking minors, adults confronting minors. Why is there no outrage at this? Are we so racial biased that we no longer see good and evil? So racial biased that we no longer defend children when being threatened by adults?
It's important to know what really happened so that we start to realize how much they lie to us and keep us divided. Headlines and events with racist tones attract the most attention, and they known it. There is a massive conflict of interest here. Media companies stand to gain far more from exaggerating and lying.
Take the time to understand the whole story before rushing to judgement.

TJ said"Tear Them Down" ,referring to Church Buildings, in a previous podcast with Merlyn Brown. Terry really wanted to know why TJ believed the buildings should be torn down. While Keith tired to moderate the discussion, eventually he ends up making several arguments against the buildings.
While the convo derailed a little to "burning down churches", the real questions that we have to ask are simple:
Did the New Testament church have, support, or build "church" buildings?
Did the money given by Christians allow for the financial maintenance of a non-residential building?
Are Church finances today going to the people, or going to the church expenses?
Can Christians exist without a non-residential building to gathering in?

75% of Homes in the Black Community are FATHERLESS. 25% of White Homes. Both have increased exponentially over the last 3-4 decades.
This was a difficult subject that really hits home. We discussed everything from morality crime and drugs to systemic racism and redlining. There is more to be discussed, but having the discussion and dealing with these facts are the first step in the right direction.

We have strong convictions but are the OPPOSITE of religious! We clown and laugh because we are friends and all comfortable with each other. This is not stale religious debate or discussions. There will be plenty of laughs, but may also be tears or difficult feelings. We will NOT always agree, but we will bring it to the table; to discuss Christian beliefs and social issues today and to hear each other's perspective.
We are often discouraged from discussing Religion and Politics! Society says it's offensive, the Church says it's disobedient. Most believe these difficult subjects to be divisive, when really, how can people unite, and as the Bible says "say the same thing" unless we agree to come together and listen to one another.
