Dr. Lior Shamir is an associate professor of computer science at Kansas State University. His research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, computational statistics, and data science. Part of that research also includes the use of elements from artificial intelligence and machine learning to make scientific discoveries from large and complex databases.
Shadi J. Ireifej DVM DACVS graduated from the State University
of New York at Binghamton where he received his Bachelor of
Science degree in Biology (2001, Magna cum laude). He then
attended Cornell University where he received his Doctor of
Veterinary Medicine degree (2006, DVM).
Rohan Gupta is the CEO and Co-Founder of QuillBot, a cutting edge NLP startup with millions of users. He holds a B.S. in Finance and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He is passionate about technology, philosophy, and changing the world.
Dr. Leon Vanstone is Director of the Texas Rocket Engineering Lab at the University of Texas at Austin. His expertise include shock dominated flows, hypersonics, scramjets and rocket systems. Leon is currently helping to reduce cost and complexity of transit to space while increasing workforce development. Although rockets will always be necessary in space, Leon believes the future of leaving this planet lies in building space planes that "fly" to orbit.
