SHOWstudio
SHOWstudio is the home of fashion film. Founded and directed by Nick Knight, the award winning fashion website was has consistently pushed the boundaries of communication.
Established in November 2000, SHOWstudio’s innovative and ground-breaking projects have defined the manner in which fashion is presented via the Internet. SHOWstudio has pioneered fashion film and is now recognised as the leading force behind this new medium, offering a unique platform to nurture and encourage fashion to engage with moving image in the digital age.
Working with the latest technology SHOWstudio broadcasts live from catwalk shows and fashion shoots, allowing an international audience instant and unparalleled access to the previously closed world of high fashion. Inspired by the inherent generosity of the verb 'to show', SHOWstudio opens up the studio of designers and artists, allowing everyone to not only witness the creative process, but to respond and contribute creatively.
Contributing Editor Mimma Viglezio speaks to Moncler CEO Remo Ruffini about his work for Moncler Group, the importance of collaboration and his vision for the Moncler jacket. Since his 2003 takeover of the company, Remo Ruffini has established Moncler as a leading luxury sportswear brand. Having opened the first store in 2008, and overseen collaborations with the likes of Craig Green, Valentino’s Pierpaolo Piccioli and Junya Watanabe, Ruffini has transformed Moncler from a staple outerwear brand to a fashion favourite.
Sonny Hall sits down with DJ Fat Tony - both of whom have undergone addiction - to speak about sobriety and the healing process.
The segment marks the inaugural project for Fashion Radio - a new project headed by SHOWstudio and the project's Creative Director DJ Fat Tony.

To create a sound installation for the gallery, curator Lou Stoppard asked top fashion DJ Michel Gaubert to lend the soundtrack he created for Raf Simon's Fiorucci Made Me Hardcore S/S 16 show. Cut alongside the track is audio from key male figures within the fashion industry - Charlie Porter, David Sims, Gosha Rubchinskiy, Dylan Jones, Glen Luchford, Nick Knight, Alex Bilmes, Nasir Mazhar and Ben Kirchhoff. The clips focus on the way these men consider youth, their own upbringing and how ideas of the young male are constructed within their work. Some interviews were conducted specially by Stoppard, others were taken from SHOWstudio's rolling In Fashion serie. They were mixed into the track by sound artist Younji Ku.
