This is an amazing story of a woman who rescues women from strip clubs. She takes them flowers, asks about their needs, and offers to pray with them. She has rescued many from this sort of life, and often goes to the same club to connect with these women, but the club owner saw her as an ENEMY–UNTIL she put Scripture in the ground around the location. A Christian group was praying around a Texas city at each city limit sign. One woman involved in the event happened to be stationed near a large church. During her silent prayer she felt the urge from God to pray for the church she was standing next to to be “shaken and sifted like wheat.” She tried to GENTLY pray that, but BIG things shortly happened there. Tim was once a walking zombie, life was sucked out of him, addicted to drugs, sex, and alcohol. When he started seeking Jesus wholeheartedly, he could literally start to feel life being restored to his soul. Genesis 4:12 NLT “No longer will the ground yield good crops for you, no matter how hard you work! From now on you will be a homeless wanderer on the earth.”
Genesis 26:12 NLT “When Isaac planted his crops that year, he harvested a hundred times more grain than he planted, for the Lord blessed him.”
Malachi 3:11 NLT “Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard them from insects and disease. Your grapes will not fall from the vine before they are ripe, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.”
James 5:18 NLT “Then, when he prayed again, the sky sent down rain and the earth began to yield its crops."
So… GOOD crop yield, or POOR crop yield is dependent on the support of the LORD!

The TENTH step in ancient covenants which were practiced in Abram’s time was a SON exchange. A FIRST-born son exchange. Each man would send his own first-born son to go and live with his new covenant partner--permanently. This is why God asked for Isaac and sent Jesus. By the way, if your covenant partner was attacked, you are very motivated to go and DEFEND their home, aren’t you?
The NINTH step in ancient covenants which were practiced in Abram’s time was a NAME exchange. Each covenant partner would give PART of his name to the other person. That part would be ADDED to your original name, giving you a new COMPLETE name. The Hebrew name for God is YAH-WEH. God took the “AH” from His name and added it to Abram--he became AbrAHam. From then on, God is called, “The God of Abraham.” When you take on Christ, you also take on His name: CHRISTian, and Jesus took on our name: the Son of Man. Fascinating story you will enjoy!
The EIGHTH step in ancient covenants which were practiced in Abram’s time was a Covenant MEAL. The entire meal centered around the pronouncement of blessings and curses (Step 7) in front of WITNESSES as EACH covenant partner fed the ENTIRE meal to their new covenant partner. Remnants of this ceremony have carried over into many modern-day weddings, where the husband and wife feed the first bite of wedding cake in front of similar witnesses!
The SEVENTH step in ancient covenants which were practiced in Abram’s time was a pronouncement of blessings and curses in front of witnesses.
