The UK Podcast that brings you news, reviews and interviews from the world of Hybrid racing Hyrox, Deka Fit , Turf Games and More
This week on the show, we welcome back Adidas athlete and hybrid fitness coach Lhea Terzaki for her first appearance since early 2025.
Lhea candidly opens up about a recent shift in her mental game. Recently she realised that despite landing on the podium at Age Group level in Lisbon, she was simply going through the motions and racing out of expectation rather than enjoyment.
We dive deep into the psychology of self-imposed pressure, the good & bad of social media, and the practical steps she took to reset her mindset for DEKA to put fun back at the centre of her competition.
Whether you're an elite competitor or an age-grouper battling performance anxiety, this episode offers a valuable look into balancing high ambition with a healthy relationship to the sport.

This week on the show we are joined once again by Darryl Corley for a dedicated deep dive into race-day nutrition. Following on from our previous conversations covering general nutrition and the value of HRV training, this episode focuses entirely on the fine details of fueling your race for maximum performance.
We walk through the entire timeline, from the question of carb loading and night-before meals to managing your nutrition based on your start time.
We also break down the science behind race gels, hydration, lactic acid buffer, and the actual causes of race-day cramping. Finally, we look at strategies for athletes tackling multiple races over a single weekend.
