This podcast is dedicated to explaining how vast our minds and our brains really are. It's fascinating to think about how much the human mind is capable of as we revolutionize ideas and devote ourselves to curiosity. Here, we will focus on philosophy, psychology, technology, learning, and personal growth. Thanks for listening!
Success is a really interesting concept. Everyone wants to have a successful life, whether that be defined by career achievements or personal goals that you've dreamed of fulfilling since you were young. The hard thing is that the definition of success and the way that we measure it are somewhat arbitrary and often unclear. What matters most is how youcreate your personal path and do what gives you a greater sense of purpose and meaning. Many thanks to my friends Alyse and Thomas for suggesting this topic! Please enjoy.
Most people would agree that motivation is a good feeling to have, especially when it comes to fulfilling priorities at work and school. But what if we thought of our abilities to fulfill our obligations in a different way? That's where discipline comes in. Discipline is perhaps the most important skill one can develop, and for a multitude of reasons, it's more important than motivation. In this segment, I interviewed my friend Brian Dao, who explained his own understanding of the difference between motivation and discipline. Brian is one of the hardest-working people I know, and he has a lot of important insight on this. Please enjoy!
