This week Mike and Eric talk about game series that deserve a reboot. fun chat

View Details

This week eric and I talk about if more complex inputs make a game inherently better. I come from the view point of a fighting game fan while Eric is more of a MMO dude. one of our best eps IMO.

View Details

This week mike and eric talk about cash grabs in videogames, there is nothing good about this stuff, aside from the time we get to spend with each other.

View Details

This week Mike and Eric reminisce about tcg's and then go over what we like and want from the medium.

View Details

This week Mike and Eric talk about Strategy RPGS.

editors note Eric's mic was clickin' and clackin' for like the first 8 minutes it stops after that point so skip past our normal intro if you don't wanna hear his expensive mouse sing the song of its people.

Enjoy!

View Details

Hoi, this week we are doing a mom episode... I have her try BOTW and we talk Kotor. Enjoy!

View Details

Wow that title is dumb, huh? Well this week we talk about Ammo in videogames, why do we still have it? Most games don't need it. don't believe us? stay tuned... we are about to BLOW. YOUR. MIND.

View Details

This week we talk about the role E3 is still playing in the videogame industry. Do we ever need digital conventions when social media exists?

View Details

Happy anniversary!!!! we just reached 52 mainline episodes and to celebrate we are taking a break from "elden-month" to talk about one of our favorite Genres. Side scrollers!

View Details

Eric is a LLZLFOS(Life Long Zelda Lover Family, okay Señor?) He also loves Eldenring. But which is better? We talk about it.

View Details

That's right this week we are talking about the Apocalypse in games, looks like our 2022 premonition about the world ending after march may have been exaggerated. That is good for us! more time to shoot the shit with my good friend eric!

Listen and become Mighty!

View Details

As promised two weeks ago, before Elden Ring so rudely interrupted our plan, we are talking difficulty again. Should games expect the player to improve or should they become easier to please the masses? We talk about it, I am sort of disappointed that we didn't talk about accessibility this episode but we'll get to that eventually too.

Enjoy!

View Details

We're back! And here to abandon all plans and just talk about Elden Ring. I guess its pretty good.

View Details

Hey folks,

Eric is feeling a little under the weather this week so no new episode.

I had a chat with him and we are going to eventually revisit the subject of difficulty in videogames, we didn't not cover EVERYTHING in our last discussion. So in order to jog your memory on the subject I am rereleasing our November 16th episode. Sorry and we will be back to normal next week.

Thanks.

So like, we have a show called the true endgame, but we haven't talked about endgame content at all. (maybe we have I don't know). Anyway after the events of this episode Eric let me know he is taking a break from final fantasy 14. Let us know if you can pin point the part of our conversation that made him take this turn.

enjoy!

Since the events of final fantasy ten, my mom has been on a bit of a quest for "what's next" in her videogame journey.

After a bit of trial and error we find out what she is going to play next.

Stay tuned to find out more, I am excited.

Happy new year everyone! new year new season same old show, this week we go through everything that is coming out in 2022, which it turns out to be quite a bit. This episode will be a two parter.

We also do the normal thing where we catch up with each other, and eric tells us about his final fantasy 14 travels.

View Details

Nerry Chima, Happa nah yah and all that

This is the last episode of season 1! Partially because its the last episode of the year, and partially because I lost track of what the actual episode number was.

with a new year comes growth and better organization.

Well anyway, Eric and I talk about over saturation in the videogame market and how a lot of great games died unceremonious deaths due to corporate greed.

View Details

Happy anniversary Final Fantasy! This year, to celebrate your birthday, I introduced my mom to the series via Final Fantasy X. After 5 short months of hard work and called in favors she beat it on December 18th 2021. The same date final fantasy 1 was released. We didn't plan it this way so it must have been fate. We spend the better part of the hour talking about the ending of final fantasy X but also just kind of getting philosophical about endings in general. I hope you enjoyed this ride, there is more to come after a short rest. We will be back next week with a normal episode to wrap up the year!

Thanks for listening guys, this episode was special to me.

View Details

This week mike and eric talk about the game awards and eric goes into a spoiler free discussion about ff14 (he loved it).

Enjoy

This episode is a doozy, and hopefully you don't mind the sound of my voice because I do a lot of talking here. Eric took the week off because of final fantasy 14, so I took it upon myself to record a solo episode. I go through every game that was released in 2021 and give my two cents on each title, I blaze through most, but boy, do I take a lot of pitstop along the way. If you want to hear a man's voice go horse in real time. This episode is for you!

This week Mike and Eric talk about what is better in videogames, a loot system or a game where you have limited weapons but there are chances to improve them. We both make some good points but I won in the end. Who wrote this description? You'll just have to listen to find out.

Loot us know what you think @endgametrue, rate five stars and review.

(Big breath) HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA.

That's right guys I am showing my mom Final Fantasy X today. The format of this episode is the same as last time. We do a "pre-play" interview, were I set up the premise of the game. Then we play. Finally, we do a "post-play" interview. She obsesses over why sin is a big whale, and thinks that all final fantasy villains are big whales.

Come for the new theme song, stay for the wholesome content. BTW she is still playing, and is just about to get Ifrit so she is making progress.

We will be back to normal next week, stay tuned!

In this episode Mike and Eric dive into the unique release schedule Sega is using to launch their latest iteration of phantasy star online. (phantasy star online: new genesis) It hasn't been done before, and no one is talking about it. So, we figured we should. I didn't think this subject would fill up a whole episode, but we ended up recording for more than an hour and a half. So this episode is a long one!  You don't need to know anything about PSO to listen....ENJOY!

In this episode Eric (the master of all things MMO) and Mike (the quintessential lay about noob) talk about MMOs as they are portrayed in Anime. They talk about how the genre in general could be better if they made the idealized MMO a reality.
