Kris Hager is a Gold Star Father. His oldest son, SSG Joshua Ryan Hager, Army Ranger, was KIA on February 22nd 2007 in Iraq. He has another son who served 10 years as an Officer in the Coast Guard. Now at the age of 66, Kris has been blessed with a little boy, Carson, who is 8 years old. Kris's dedication to and passion for God, Family and Country is unquestionable. Kris's background is very diverse and begins with degrees in Economics, Finance and Accounting. From a stock broker, to deliver skipper, to owning multiple small business, to being an ordained minister and member of the National Guild of Hypnotherapists, Kris has seen many paradigm shifts in life. Most recently, Kris and his wife hosted a radio program that focused on the vital decision to live in the moment, 5 minutes at a time, no matter where you are in life. He is currently working on publishing a book to inspire, motivate and help others survive and thrive. Kris's intense passion for Gold Star Families, Veterans and Active Duty Military drives many of his current missions. Most recently, he was honored to deliver the invocation at the Salute To Our Armed Services Ball at the Inauguration of President Trump. He values every chance received to speak to others about bridging the divide between a Nation at peace and a military at war. Joe Frankie III is a West Point graduate who had a full career in the U.S. Army as a warfighter and logistician for 30+ years. He commanded at all levels from platoon thru installation. Post military, he used his logistics skills to work on infrastructure projects in the US and internationally. Currently, as an author, coach, and search consultant he advises executives and transitioning military leaders. Most often, he helps them better merchandise themselves by helping them build a LinkedIn bridge from where they are now to where they want to go. He claims over 40 years of leading multifunctional teams worldwide in engineering, logistics, life sciences, technology, aviation and environmental services from startups to Fortune 500 companies in both private and public sectors. Robert F. Hyde is an U.S. Marine Corps Iraqi Freedom war veteran and Republican candidate for U.S. Congress in Connecticut's 5th Congressional District. Robert is a post-9/11 war veteran who enlisted while attending CCSU because of duty and service to country. After serving eight years in the United States Marine Corps and serving in the Iraqi theater as a security detail during the peak of the fight, Robert then left the service - but never left his commitment - and established a small business headquartered in Avon, CT. The small business didn't stay "small" long and quickly grew to over 100 employees as a full-service construction firm (fun fact: Robert F. Hyde's firm helped build the Farmington, CT, home of Curtis James Jackson III, otherwise known as 50 Cent; some say Mr. Hyde has cross-over appeal. Robert Hyde also helped established Toys for Tots presence in the Farmington Valley and made the organization a force in the valley. Robert Hyde’s charity work includes fundraisers for Marines where he’s raised over 200k in two months. Rob loves his dog Thunder, a German Shepard, and is an ardent supporter of animal rights. Robert Hyde not only wants fairness for the American people, but for our animals, as well - and look no further than our Best Friend, to ensure that animal abuses of any kind are no longer conscionable and tolerated and that they get the protection they deserve. His responsibilities encompassed a diverse mix of operations, which included 20 resort hotels with over 24,000 Guest rooms, 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, 5 golf courses, a shopping village & nighttime entertainment complex, a sports & recreation complex, and the ancillary operations support functions Lee joined the Disney organization in July 1990 as Director of Food and Beverage and Quality Assurance for the Disneyland Paris hotels. Prior to joining the Walt Disney World Co., he spent seventeen years in various executive positions with the Marriott Corporation and eight years with Hilton Hotels. Today Lee is the founder of his consulting, seminar and speaking business, Lee Cockerell, LLC specializing in leadership, management and customer service. Lee has served on the Heart of Florida United Way Board for six years including being the Chairman of the Board and a member of the Executive Committee and as Campaign Chairman for Central Florida. ABOUT Bruce Eckfeldt is a consultant, coach, author, and speaker on organizational development and performance management. Originally an architect, he was a pioneer in the use of computer-aided design and 3D modeling. He later transitioned to software design and development, converting his spatial problem-solving skills to informational architecture and user experience design of digital software products. Seeing the need for a more fast-paced and innovative approach to technology development, Bruce was an early adopter of Extreme Programming (an early Agile/Lean software methodology). He advanced the field as an early contributor to the Agile Conference and as the founder of Cyrus Innovation in 2003, one of the first Agile/Lean development consulting firms. After more than a decade of developing products and coaching companies adopting Agile/Lean practices such as Extreme Programming, Scrum, Kanban, and other Lean methodologies, Bruce sold Cyrus in 2014 to focus on broader organizational development initiatives and served as interim CEO, COO, and other executive roles across a number of different high-tech and professional service companies leading these companies through periods of high growth and leadership transition. Today, Bruce uses his experience as an entrepreneur and Inc 500 CEO to help high-growth companies scale more quickly with less drama. He is an expert in business and operational growth strategy, talent planning, performance coaching, and using Lean/Agile to achieve operational excellence. PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS Graduating from McGill University in Montreal with two degrees in Architecture, Bruce transitioned to digital product development early in his career where he worked as a product strategy consultant for companies such as WebMD, Prada, the Department of Defense, and Motorola. In 2003, he founded Cyrus Innovation, one of the first Lean/Agile consulting firms, and worked with companies such as Boeing, Kaplan Test Prep, Simon & Schuster, Eze Software, and The New York Times on product development and Lean/Agile transformation initiatives. Cyrus was an Inc 5000 honoree for five years in a row and placed #241 on the Inc 500 in 2009. Bruce has been a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization since 2007 and has served in many chapter and regional leadership positions including Learning, Forum, and Accelerator. Bruce has served as the US East Regional Forum Expert and the US East Regional Accelerator Expert. Since 2016, Bruce has been a contributing author to Inc.com where he writes a weekly column on business and leadership. PERSONAL HIGHLIGHTS Born in Philadelphia, Bruce and his family moved to Minnesota when he was four. Growing up in Minnesota fueled his love for nature and the outdoors. As an athlete throughout high school and college, Bruce competed in rowing, cross country skiing, biathlon (shooting and skiing), and triathlon. He completed his first marathon cross country ski race at 18, first of four marathons at age 19, and completed an Ironman triathlon in 2003. Outside of competitive sports, Bruce has climbed to the top of Kilimanjaro, dove the Coral Sea off Australia, and hiked the Tour du Mont Blanc. He’s traveled extensively and has visited six of the seven continents. Bruce is also an avid freshwater and saltwater fly fisherman. He is a father of four young children and lives in New York City.
