Wrote this during the first few months of the pandemic. By God's grace, I was able to refresh and feel His presence during those time I spent with Him in our province in Bulacan. Every single day God would reveal His character to a sinner like me. During those days, this was one of the many short poems I have written as I soaked in Abba's presence. Journaling has been one of my outlets in expressing what God has been speaking to me. "Going back to Our First Love," is one of the things we must not forget to remember. A season and time to put aside all the responsibilities, agendas, and even the ministry and choose to spend time with Jesus just like what Mary did. Maybe we've been busy doing things for God that we have forgetten to know and BE with Him. We sometimes forget like Martha, but it's always about our First Love.
Hello, God's chosen one! Let me introduce to you one of my OG best friends, Andrea Torrico! She is currently a grade 11 student in a university, and in this episode, we talked about Adjustments in SHS Life, Online Class Tips, Social Life, Alone Time with God, Pre-pandemic Things, and Pandemic Anxiety. In this segment, she shared with us her courageous stories as she journey life in seeking God. Join us as we spend our time catching up, encouraging, and learning from each others' experiences! Most of the time when we experience sufferings, we question God and His faithfulness. But little did we know that through these trials and challenges we experience in this world, it was the Lord speaking and teaching us, "God has strengthened me and I didn't even know it!" Especially during this pandemic, we might have lost a loved one or have gone through a spiritual or physical health crisis, but God always intend for good what the enemy meant for evil. Take heart, brethren! God has already overcome the world. He will never leave us nor forsake us.
James 1:2 says, " Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds."
