On this episode of the everything.church podcast, Stacia, Gina Bellomo - Chief of Staff at Church Unleashed and Brent Gambrell talk about Brent's new book "Living for Another- More of Others Less of You."

In this episode, we talk about the three changes that ministry leaders and Christians, in general, can make to get over themselves and start living a fuller life TODAY.

Begin to understand that you’re grafted in the vine. Consider others better than yourself. Park your heart outside of yourself - Find the thing outside yourself that stirs up your passion and love.

In this episode, Brent shares that he started looking at all the times Jesus told people to do something for another.

Love one another Exhort one another Forgive one another Bear with one another

This, of course, inspired him to write "another" book.

Each chapter ends with: So what: “how do I apply this” Now what: “an assignment” Making this an amazing resource for small groups, because the entire book is about motivating and encouraging Christians to live with "others" in mind. Moving church members from consumers to contributors is a goal of nearly every church.

Check out this inspiring conversation with Brent Gambrell and consider utilizing this amazing resource for your own congregation.  For consultation on best ways to engage small groups check out www.everything.church

In this episode, we are joined by Gina Bellomo from Church Unleashed outside of New York City, and we talk about why it's critical that when you're addressing this topic, you don’t get so uncomfortable that you don’t address the issues, and instead, you just take stances. It's so important for a healthy staff to have a culture of honesty and transparency, no matter the topic.

Tk gives some amazing tips for guy leaders, sharing how important it is to not be passive aggressive. Secondly, TK shares that women, in general, will be in 100 different positions around you. A lot of people will say, “just treat them the same” but the best ting you can do is acknowledge that women aren’t men, they are different, but they are still human. So, treat them like a human, ask questions and find where you have commonality. We often unintentionally make the gender gap bigger than it needs to be.

If you're looking for a sneak peak of the tips for women, you'll have to check out the show. It's full of laughs and general political incorrectness, so be blessed and enjoy!
