The discussion focused on the spiritual discipline of "daily manna" and the mechanics of faith, emphasizing the transition from intellectual agreement to heart-level belief through meditation and the spoken word.

The Daily Manna Framework

The group distilled the process of spiritual nourishment into a three-part cycle based on the biblical account of Israelites collecting manna:

  • Collect: Finding the Word (scripture).
  • Consume: Taking the Word in (reading/hearing).
  • Digest: Meditating on the Word until it becomes a "revealed word" rather than just written text. This stage is where nutrients are absorbed into the "spirit man."

The Mechanics of Faith and Words

A significant portion of the dialogue explored why many believers struggle to see results despite "believing" in their heads.

  • Heart vs. Head: True faith is described as a full heart characterized by excitement and joy. Intellectual belief without emotional experience or spoken declaration is insufficient.
  • The Power of the Tongue: Participants emphasized that words are the "pen of a ready writer" that sign for either the promise or the problem. Speaking in alignment with God’s Word is viewed as a training exercise for the brain and mouth.
  • Expectation: Expectation was defined not as passive waiting, but as "leaning in." It is the bridge between the seed (the Word) and the harvest (the manifestation).

Abiding and Identity

The group critiqued the "busyness" of modern society, which prevents the stillness required to know God.

  • The Vine and the Branch: Success in the spiritual life is a byproduct of abiding, not striving. Fruit is the natural result of resting in the vine’s nutrients.
  • His Faith, Not Ours: The group noted that believers use the "faith of the Son of God" (Galatians 2:20). The burden is not on the individual to "drum up" faith, but to receive and use the faith Jesus has already provided.

Unity and Discernment in the Body

The conversation concluded with a call for civility and love among believers, specifically addressing the toxicity of social media "apologetics."

  • Sowing Discord: The group warned against the "demonic" trend of flippantly calling other believers heretics over non-essential doctrinal differences (e.g., Calvinism vs. Arminianism, cessationism).
  • The Tares and the Wheat: Referencing Matthew 13, the participants argued that attempting to "uproot" perceived false believers often damages the genuine "wheat."
  • Teachable Spirit: A participant shared three personal pillars for spiritual stability: staying in the Word, praying in the Holy Ghost, and remaining teachable (willing to be wrong).
  • The Spiritual Digestion Process
    Collect → Consume
    Consume → Digest
    Digest → Revealed Word (Meditation)
    Revealed Word → Manifestation (Confession)

The conversation centers on the spiritual and practical application of Christian principles—specifically love, humility, and yielding—within the workplace and personal relationships. The group discusses the "shift" in their reality following a recent spiritual experience and explores how to maintain a "holy response" rather than a "fleshly reaction" when faced with betrayal, envy, or conflict.Spiritual Perspectives on Conflict The Debt of Love: Referencing Romans 13:8, the group emphasizes that while financial debt is a matter of practical management, the "debt of love" is one that can never be fully repaid. This serves as the foundational motive for treating others well, even when they are antagonistic. * Yielding and Peace: A participant shares a personal story from a past factory job where apologizing to an aggressive coworker—despite being in the right—immediately dissolved their own internal rage. They cite Ecclesiastes 10:4, noting that "yielding pacifies great offenses" and provides emotional healing. * The "Serpent" in the Call: The group discusses the symbolism of Moses’ rod turning into a serpent, suggesting that every person's calling contains a "serpent" of self/ego that must be "thrown down" to be used by God. Workplace Dynamics and Integrity Responding to Betrayal: One speaker describes a situation where a supervisor, Eric, took credit for their idea to win an award. Instead of fighting for credit, the speaker chose to support the supervisor, viewing the situation as a test of their commitment to walking in love rather than self-promotion. * Subtlety vs. Dishonesty: In a discussion about a potential promotion that might cause envy in a coworker, the group explores the concept of "playing the game" through subtlety. They compare this to Samuel’s approach in the Old Testament—using wisdom to navigate transitions without unnecessary confrontation. * The Witness of Difference: The group reflects on how secular coworkers are constantly "watching" Christians. They conclude that responding with peace and looking out for the interests of those who wrong you provides a more powerful witness than verbal proselytizing. Maturity and Discipline *Intentional Growth: The group rejects the idea that spiritual maturity happens by accident. They argue that growth requires intentionality and often occurs in moments of discomfort, which people mistakenly attribute to the "devil" rather than a process of refinement. * The Role of Brokenness: Humility and "brokenness" are identified as the primary indicators of a person's readiness for "God’s promotion." They warn against the danger of "puffed up" knowledge that lacks a heart for service. * Abiding in Love: The discussion concludes with the importance of "keeping yourself in the love of God." They note that one cannot give what they do not have; therefore, maintaining a personal revelation of being loved by God is the only way to consistently love others. Support the show

The discussion centered on a theological exploration of 1 Corinthians 3, focusing on the distinction between spiritual and carnal believers, the nature of spiritual growth, and the importance of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer.

Core Theological Insights

We examined the "three distinct people" mentioned in scripture: the wicked, mere men (carnal believers), and the saints. We noted that Paul addressed the Corinthians as "mere men" because they were acting like non-believers despite being sanctified in Christ.

| Building on the Foundation: Using the metaphor of building with gold, silver, precious stones versus wood, hay, and straw, the group defined the former as the image of Christ and the latter as human wisdom or head knowledge without heart transformation.
| The Role of Trials: Trials and pressure act as the "fire" that reveals the quality of a believer's work. Building on fleshly wisdom leads to loss during trials, while building on Christ's image endures.
| Self-Deception and Pride: A significant portion of the conversation addressed the danger of being "wise in one's own eyes." They concluded that human wisdom, while it may seem to work, is ultimately self-absorbed and damaging to others.

Spiritual Practices and Growth

The participants shared personal experiences regarding spiritual disciplines and the internal work of the heart.

| The Ministry of the Holy Spirit: We emphasized that the "letter kills, but the Spirit gives life." We argued that scripture without the Holy Spirit's power is merely information and lacks the ability to transform.
| Praying in Tongues: Several speakers highlighted the importance of praying in the Spirit as a means of building oneself up, receiving revelation, and shifting one's internal atmosphere from anxiety to joy. It was described as a "perfect prayer" that bypasses human understanding.
| Guarding the Heart: The discussion touched on the necessity of being attentive to the heart's condition. We noted that spiritual health is a prerequisite for being a blessing to others, using the airplane oxygen mask analogy to justify self-investment in spiritual growth.

Identity and Perspective

We discussed the shift in identity that occurs through a revelation of righteousness.

| Righteousness vs. Sin Nature: We challenged the "old sinner saved by grace" mindset, asserting that a believer is a new creation with a righteous spirit. Sinful desires were attributed to an unrenewed mind rather than a sinful nature.
| The Resurrection: The resurrection was presented as the proof that the price for sin has been paid and death defeated. Believing in the resurrection implies being raised above sin, sickness, and fear.
| Effortless Evangelism: Witnessing was described as an extension of God's love that should be effortless when one is "abiding in Christ."

They noted that people are often more interested in spiritual answers than believers assume.

Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit is the practice of attuning your heart, mind, and spirit to God’s daily presence and guidance. It involves recognizing His gentle nudges, obeying His promptings without delay, and intentionally cultivating a lifestyle of continual fellowship and spiritual discernment.

Cultivating spiritual sensitivity involves a few key practices:

  • Create Space for Stillness: The Holy Spirit's voice is often described as a "still, small voice" that can easily be drowned out by the noise and fast pace of daily life. Setting aside dedicated time for prayer, reading scripture, and silence allows your spirit to become receptive.
  • Practice Immediate Obedience: Sensitivity grows not just through hearing, but through responding. When you sense an internal nudge—such as a prompting to pray for someone, share a word of encouragement, or avoid a specific situation—acting on it quickly fine-tunes your spiritual ears.
  • Guard Your Heart: The Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit can be "grieved" by attitudes and actions that contradict God's ways. Consistently consuming negative media, harboring bitterness, or entertaining compromise can dull your spiritual senses. Pursuing holiness and practicing quick repentance keeps your heart tender.
  • Practice the Presence of God: Cultivate an ongoing awareness of Him throughout your mundane, daily routines. Acknowledge Him before making decisions, ask for His wisdom during conversations, and thank Him for His companionship.
  • Study Spiritual Discernment: Growing in sensitivity helps you distinguish between your own thoughts, the influence of the world, and the genuine leading of the Spirit. Grounding your thoughts in the Word of God acts as a filter for what you are sensing.

In a ministry, leadership, or interpersonal setting, the "spirit of familiarity" describes an attitude where knowing someone very well leads to the loss of respect, admiration, and honor.

Breeds Disrespect: It causes people to take relationships, spiritual spaces, and God-given gifts for granted.

Turns Correction into Offense: Instead of being receptive to advice or leadership, the overly familiar individual becomes critical and fault-finding.

Stifles Potential: By losing reverence for the things of God or the people positioned to help them, individuals often end up withdrawing from the very support systems meant to elevate their purpose.

Why do so many struggle with having confidence towards a loving God?

Struggling with confidence towards a loving God often stems from projecting earthly experiences onto the divine, leading us to believe we must earn affection. When people face unanswered prayers or human suffering, it can feel incredibly difficult to reconcile pain with the concept of a completely loving Creator.

Projecting Human Flaws: People often project the actions of imperfect earthly figures (like strict or absent parents) onto God. This causes the misconception that His love is conditional or performance-based, rather than unconditional.

The Problem of Suffering: Experiencing or witnessing trauma, loss, and tragedy makes it difficult to reconcile the idea of an all-powerful, loving Creator with the reality of pain and evil in the world.

Shame and Guilt: A focus on personal shortcomings, past mistakes, or feelings of unworthiness can lead to self-condemnation. This often makes individuals feel they should hide from God rather than approach Him with confidence.

Unanswered Prayers: When specific desires or prayers go unmet, it can breed doubt, leaving people feeling unheard or abandoned, which erodes trust over time.

Desire for Control: Human nature gravitates toward relying on what we can see, manage, and understand ourselves. Surrendering control to an unseen God can feel unnatural and uncomfortable.

Viewing "sin" as a symptom of lack is a powerful and historically recognized perspective. Philosophically, theologians like Simone Weil described sin as an attempt to "fly from emptiness". When we feel a sense of lack—whether it be a deficit of love, purpose, joy, or security—we often try to fill that void with destructive habits, greed, or selfishness.

Looking at it this way, "sin" isn't just an act of malice; it’s an attempt to meet a legitimate human need in an unhealthy or unsustainable way.

John 14:14 reads: "If you ask anything in my name, I will do it." (ESV)

This verse is a profound promise regarding prayer, emphasizing that believers are invited to bring requests directly to Jesus, who acts with divine authority.

Key commentaries and theological interpretations highlight these central principles:

"In My Name" is Not a Magical Formula: Praying in Jesus' name is more than simply reciting the phrase at the end of a prayer. It means praying under His authority, acting as His representative, and presenting requests based on His merit and righteousness rather than our own.

Alignment with God’s Will: The promise operates on the condition of aligning with Jesus' character and kingdom. Asking "in His name" inherently means asking for things that bring glory to the Father, which naturally shapes our requests to fit His will.

Assurance and Comfort: The verse is part of Jesus’ Farewell Discourse to His disciples. By making this promise, Jesus comforts his followers, assuring them that his departure does not mean they are left powerless.

Being "broken for the Lord" signifies a state of spiritual humility, surrender, and repentance, where a person lets go of pride, control, and self-sufficiency to fully depend on God. It is the process of allowing God to take the broken pieces of life—often resulting from sin, pain, or failure—and reshaping them into a vessel for His glory.

  • Definition & Purpose: It is not necessarily about emotional sadness, but a "broken and contrite heart" that God does not despise, according to Psalm 51:17
    .
  • The Beauty in Brokenness: While painful, this state brings believers closer to God and allows His strength to work through their weaknesses, as highlighted by 2 Corinthians 12:9.
  • God’s Use of Broken Things: God uses brokenness to transform individuals, taking what is considered worthless or destroyed and making it useful for His kingdom.
  • Surrender and Restoration: It involves acknowledging one's inability to live righteously on their own,, leading to a deeper, surrendered life in Christ

We have a special guest Emerson Windfield with us discussing the kingdom of God!

Entering the Kingdom
Individuals enter the Kingdom of God through repentance, faith in Jesus Christ, and submitting to his lordship. It requires humility, often described as receiving the kingdom "like a child"

Role of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit enables believers to live according to the kingdom's principles and empowers the church to advance this rule on earth

Future of the Kingdom
The kingdom will be fully realized when Jesus returns, eliminating sin, death, and suffering. This will result in a new heaven and a new earth, described as a final restoration of all things.

Current Role of Believers
Followers are called to live in this "in-between" time, serving as citizens of this kingdom by bringing God's righteousness, peace, and joy into their homes and communities.

Universalism is the theological and philosophical belief that all human beings will ultimately be saved and reconciled with God, rejecting the concept of eternal hell. Core beliefs emphasize a loving, benevolent Creator whose purpose for creation cannot fail, often focusing on God's love as the supreme attribute. It posits that salvation is universal, either through Jesus (Christian Universalism) or through a broader, often post-mortem, purification process.

Being offended can lead to chronic anger, resentment, damaged relationships, and a persistent "victim mentality". It often triggers emotional distress such as humiliation, sadness, and anxiety, while fostering personal insecurity and paranoia. Unmanaged, it can cause withdrawal from social connection and even lead to destructive, unhealthy coping behaviors.

  • Relationship Breakdown: Constantly taking offense creates distance, fosters distrust, and causes resentment, destroying both personal and professional relationships.
  • Emotional & Mental Toll: It often triggers a "shame spiral," causing feelings of worthlessness, depression, and social anxiety. It is frequently linked to a "victim mentality," where one feels powerless and stuck.
  • Physiological & Behavioral Impact: Chronic offense can lead to physical stress, rage, and the adoption of addictive behaviors, such as alcohol, social media misuse, or over-eating, to cope with the anger.
  • Reduced Quality of Life: Being easily offended causes people to focus on negative emotions and perceive threats everywhere, leading to a miserable, lonely life.

What can we do when we really are sanctified?

One day, while worshiping God with her guitar in front of a western-style restaurant and pub, Carol had the opportunity to minister to a self-professing atheist. After listening to his story, Carol began to share hers. Then, picking up her guitar, she sang “My Chains Are Gone” and marveled as tears began streaming down his face. “You make me want what you have,” he told her.

Carol’s willingness to abandon formulas and develop a dynamic relationship with God brought her into contact with a Buddhist radio host. After hearing part of her story, he asked Carol to be a guest on his broadcast to “bring hope” to others in Hong Kong. Thousands of people tuned in and heard about the unconditional love and grace of God!

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened… If ye…know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Luke 11:10,13

All you have to do is ask, believe, and receive! Pray, Father, I recognize my need for Your power to live this new life. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit. By faith, I receive it right now! Thank You for baptizing me. Holy Spirit, You are welcome in my life.

Congratulations! The Lord promised that He would give the Holy Spirit to all who asked Him in faith (Luke 11:10-13). If you believe His promise, you’re filled with God’s supernatural power! Some syllables from a language you don’t recognize will rise up from your heart to your mouth. (See 1 Cor. 14:14.) As you speak them out loud by faith, you’re releasing God’s power from within and building yourself up in the spirit (1 Cor. 14:4). You can do this whenever and wherever you like!

It doesn’t really matter whether you felt anything or not when you prayed to receive the Lord and His Spirit. If you believed in your heart that you received, then God’s Word promises you did. “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them” (Mark 11:24). God always honors His Word; believe it!

Please call our Helpline for individual prayer and to receive some free materials we have just for those of you who have prayed to receive Jesus as your Savior and/or to receive this baptism of the Holy Spirit. Our Helpline is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Just call 719-635-1111.

Please contact me and let me know that you’ve prayed to receive Jesus as your Savior or be filled with the Holy Spirit. I would like to rejoice with you and help you understand more fully what has taken place in your life. Welcome to your new life!

If meditation is biblical why do middle eastern religions use it?

We must remember, the enemy never creates, he counterfeits! Just because a godless religion uses what God intended for good doesn't mean the entire thing is evil. Do it God's way and you will get God results!

Rebel Redeemed 316 is a Christian rock music artist (real name Jake Zerfas) who creates southern-grit-infused music with themes of struggle, pain, and redemption. The "316" in the name is a reference to the biblical verse John 3:16, a core tenet of Christian faith regarding God's love and eternal life.

About the Artist

  • Musical Style: The music is described as a mix of southern grit and raw rock, created for "outlaws, the broken, the prodigals, and anyone searching for meaning".
  • Testimony: Jake Zerfas's music is a personal testimony to his own journey of sin, surrender, and restoration, emphasizing that no one is beyond the reach of Jesus's mercy. A key song, "Down to the River," marks the moment he surrendered his life to God.
  • Creative Process: He utilizes AI music tools, such as Suno, to produce his tracks, an approach discussed in a podcast episode of Undaunted Pursuit Podcast.
  • Themes: The lyrics tackle real-life issues like addiction and the struggle for faith, as seen in his album Ballad of a Broken Man.

Popular Releases

The artist has released several albums and singles as of late 2025 and early 2026.

  • Ballad of a Broken Man: This album explores the artist's personal story of sin, surrender, and redemption, including tracks like "Sinner".
  • Paid in Full: Another album release, it features songs like "New Creation".
  • Reforged: This release includes the track "Soldier's Creed".
  • Singles: Other notable singles include "Brother, Rise", a call to men for repentance and discipline, and "Stay," written from the perspective of parents pleading with a child to hold on to hope.

Based on James 4:6-7, submitting one's authority to God and humbling oneself results in receiving greater grace. This spiritual principle, often cited as "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble," implies that surrendering personal control allows God to provide undeserved favor and strength to resist temptation.

The power of words lies in their ability to profoundly shape our reality, influencing our thoughts, emotions, actions, and even physical health, by creating energy, defining identity, building connections or destroying them, and driving behavior through positive affirmations or negative self-talk, making intentional, compassionate language crucial for personal well-being and positive change. Words transmit information, build social cohesion, foster creativity, and hold the key to transforming lives and impacting the world around us.

Words Matter

If we want to start seeing the power of God manifest in our lives, we will have to start paying attention to what we say. Words have power—more than any of us realize, but we often speak them as though they are meaningless. Because of that, most believers at one time or another have been hung by their tongue.

Matthew 12:36-37 says,

But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Idle Words Are Silent Killers of Faith

“Every idle word” simply means nonproductive. These are words that you speak but don’t believe. For example, you might say, “I’m dying to see my grandchildren.” You really don’t mean you’re dying, but you say it anyway to emphasize the importance of the relationship.

Every time you say things that you don’t really mean, it begins to numb your heart. Unconsciously, each idle word is making it just a little bit harder to believe what you say will actually come to pass when you mean it and it really counts.

Faith That Moves

I can almost hear the inflections in Peter’s voice when he said, “The fig tree You cursed is withered away!” I am sure it communicated surprise and disbelief. And when Jesus replied to Peter, it probably was not in a monotone voice. It was more like, “PETER! WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU?” Jesus was amazed at his unbelief. He was saying, “It shouldn’t shock you to see this tree withered. Have faith in God.”

Then He went on to explain that this wasn’t limited to a fig tree. He used a mountain as an example, but I believe it could apply to anything. He was making the point that if we say it with our mouths and believe it in our hearts, we can have what we say.

Anyone Can Speak Life

He also made it very clear who qualified to use words in this way: He said, “whosoever shall say.” Are you a whosoever? Because if you are and if you’re breathing, then you’re qualified, and your words can affect the natural as well as the spiritual world.

Jesus used the word “say” or “saith” three times in verse 23. He was making it clear that words have power. But He also said to have faith in God. The words that have power are words that are filled with faith. And it’s important to understand that the faith they’re filled with is not your human faith.

Fuel Your Words with Faith

Galatians 2:20 says,

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

I’m aware that the NIV says “faith in the son of God.” But when you study this out, it becomes very clear that it is talking about the very faith of God that He placed in you when you were born again. In fact, you can’t even be born again by your own faith. Romans 10:17 say that faith comes by the Word, and 1 Peter 1:23 says you are born again by the Word of God.

Hebrews 10
The blood of Jesus removes you from sin, the stain of sin, the sting of sin, the effects of sin, the reminder of sin, the mark of sin and even the action of sin.

If I live righteous conscience it will produce fruit to holiness without me trying to be holy.

If I just believe that God sees me as right in His sight the automatic affect produces a holiness in my life without me trying to be holy.

In the kingdom you MUST believe before you see.

We're finally beginning to believe that the Father is not angry with us, nor is He disappointed in us, but He is for us. He is coming to us with a level of love that changes the way we think about what we're going through and what we're going through is becoming the answer for what we cried out for in the secret place. We are encountering His eyes and they are full of love and light!

Jesus wasn't simply teaching the disciples about a way to heaven, He was sharing with them and ultimately us, about a way of life. The way of life is hosting the spirit of truth. The more effectively we host the spirit of truth, the more we'll be obsessed with the one who is the way. From there, it'll develop a new definition of what it means be alive.

Exodus 28:36-38

36 “You shall also make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it, like the engraving of a signet:

HOLINESS TO THE LORD.

37 And you shall put it on a blue cord, that it may be on the turban; it shall be on the front of the turban. 38 So it shall be on Aaron’s forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things which the children of Israel hallow in all their [j]holy gifts; and it shall always be on his forehead, that they may be accepted before the Lord.

Our High Priest, Jesus, is our representation before the Father. We can walk before Him in righteousness because He gave us His righteousness! Hebrews even goes as far as saying we should have no more consciousness of sin.

Hebrews 10:1-2

For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect. 2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins.

The Hidden Key to True Freedom

If Hebrews isn’t one of your favorite books of the Bible, then you might be missing a key aspect of grace. The same goes for Romans and Galatians. These three books are fundamental to grasping the essence of the New Covenant.

Hebrews was originally written for Jewish believers who had a tendency of trying to blend Old Testament performance-based laws with the freedom in Christ the New Covenant offers. Sad to say, the vast majority of Christians today fall into the same trap. They might profess that they’re living under New Covenant grace, but in reality, they’re mixing in Old Testament legalism. The truth is, these two covenants cannot be mixed. The Old Testament is awesome in so many ways and points us to Jesus, but it was incomplete.

But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.

Hebrews 8:6–7

I spend a lot of time reading the Old Testament, and I’m not suggesting we get rid it. But I’m living under the New Covenant, and I am not under the curse and the punishment of the Old Testament Law.

The Ultimate Upgrade: A Better Covenant

There is a huge difference between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant, yet the average Christian fails to understand the difference and misses out on living in the victory and freedom that Jesus purchased for us. The old system of animal sacrifice was only a temporary, imperfect way to deal with sin. Out of love, God the Father sent His only Son, Jesus, into the world and established a new covenant that would resolve the problem of sin once and for all.

Did you know that there is a better way to worship, now that we are living life in Christ under the New Covenant?

For believers in the Old Testament, under the Old Covenant, the Holy Spirit might come upon them from time to time for a specific task or designated calling. But today, because of Christ, we are so blessed to have the Spirit of God living and dwelling inside us. The very presence of God lives inside every Spirit-Filled believer. What a blessing to be able to have this kind of life! Jesus said He came to give us life, and life more abundantly, and that is through the Holy Spirit!

Is Erika Kirk the woman Kim Clement Prophesied would rise?

Years ago, Kim Clement released a prophetic word about an “Esther” who would rise at a time of national crisis—and many are asking if we’re seeing that prophecy unfold right now . Could the courage and voice of a widow stepping into the spotlight be part of God’s plan to heal America’s wounds and usher in a new season of awakening? What comes next may not look like unity at first, but a tearing down of corruption before the oil of healing is poured over the nation

In today’s church, it seems we’ve lowered the standard from what Jesus told us to do. In Matthew 28:19–20a (New King James Version), Jesus gave clear instructions: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.”

This is not a command to get people to repeat a prayer and just say words that make them feel like they’ve “joined the club.” No. Jesus didn’t say, “Go and get people to make a decision.” He said to go and make disciples. Discipleship involves a lifetime of following Jesus, learning from Him, and putting His teachings into action.

It’s hard to be thankful for something you don’t remember. It takes effort to remember. That’s why Scripture says to “forget not all His benefits” (Ps. 103:2, NKJV, emphasis mine). Even if we have a lot to be thankful for, and even if we’re getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving—one of America’s biggest holidays—it’s easy to lose sight that all good things come from God.

Here is a verse that goes along with that idea:

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.James 1:17, NKJV

This is awesome! God never changes. That means He will always give us good things!

But if we are not ones who forget what God has done, something else we should watch out for is pride. If we’re focused on self, that will get in the way of acknowledging and thanking God. Check this verse out:

What do you have that you did not receive? Now if you did indeed receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?1 Corinthians 4:7b, NKJV

Thankfulness takes humbling oneself. Second Timothy 3 says that humility in the last days will be in short supply. In times past, I never would have said it was a pride issue when I didn’t feel like thanking God. My position was one where I thought God hadn’t been good enough to me. I’d offer up half-hearted praise. But for me, holding back my thankfulness was pride. I’m learning to “give unto the Lord the glory due to His name” (Ps. 29:2, NKJV). That means doing it when I feel like it and when I don’t.

Finally, fear can keep us from being thankful. Have you ever thought you would look silly to others if you really expressed thanks to God? If so, that’s the fear of man. Ask yourself: “What’s so funny about being thankful for all the wonderful things God has done in my life?” Think about the following verse:

Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful.Psalm 33:1, NKJV

I like that. Praise is beautiful! I also like this verse:

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord.Psalm 92:1a, King James Version

Praise is good! There’s an old hymn called “Praise God, from Whom All Blessings Flow.” Here are the lyrics:

Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;Praise Him, all creatures here below;Praise Him above, ye heav’nly host;Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

It’s a simple song, really. But today, perhaps more than ever, these are words that ought to be on our lips and spring from our hearts.

This Thanksgiving, remember what God has done in your life. Humble yourself and thank Him. It’s a beautiful thing!

I believe this is the worst doctrine in the church today. I know that this is a shocking statement and is near blasphemy to some people, but the way “sovereignty” is taught today is a real faith killer. The belief that God controls everything that happens to us is one of the devil’s biggest inroads into our lives. If this belief is true, then our actions are irrelevant, and our efforts are meaningless. What will be will be.

If we believe that God wills everything—good or bad—that happens to us, it gives us some temporary relief from confusion and condemnation, but in the long term, it slanders God, hinders our trust in Him, and leads to passiveness.

There are few things more controversial in the body of Christ than the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the accompanying gifts.

Much of modern-day Christianity sees the born-again experience as all there is to salvation. Many Christians oppose the belief that there is a separate experience of being filled with the Holy Spirit, and they especially oppose the validity of the gifts of the Holy Spirit for today’s believers.

That type of belief puts them in conflict with the book of Acts and the very teaching of Jesus. Those who experience the power of the Holy Spirit today are labeled as fanatics or heretics.

Part 3! How important is it to being all in for the kingdom of God?

Your life is the result of choices—YOUR choices. Others can influence or hinder you, but your choices are the determining factor of your destiny. It is never too late to make the right choices.

My spiritual life started with making a choice.I had been seeking to know the Lord’s will for my life when He directed me to Romans 12:1-2, which says,

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

He showed me His will for my life was to be completely committed, or all in for Him. That’s the main thing. I started seeking to become a living sacrifice to the Lord with all my heart.

What do you need the Lord to do for you? The truth is, you don’t need the Lord to do anything for you.* He’s already done His part. You’ve already got it, whatever “it” is.

This may sound crazy to some of you. You might be thinking, But I’ve got a doctor’s report to prove I don’t have healing or You haven’t seen my bank account. But regardless of what the natural facts are, the truth is that God has already given you whatever you need.

Second Peter 1:3 says,

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.

The only thing we are lacking is knowledge.

Most Christians believe that God can do anything, but many of them don’t believe He has done very much. They live in a constant state of trying to get God to do something. They are begging God to move through revival, healing, prosperity, etc. They run from meeting to meeting, trying to get something from God. But they’ve already got it.

The Bible says,

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.

Ephesians 1:3

This says He “hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings,” meaning it’s already done.

  • What do you need the Lord to do for you? The truth is, you don’t need the Lord to do anything for you. He’s already done His part. You’ve already got it, whatever “it” is.

Without God we can do nothing! A reminder as July 4th approaches that we are in a war for our nation once again, an information war to win over the minds of Americans to believe Marxism and Communism is good. It is nothing short of evil and history shows us.

As we celebrate our Independance let us not forget that it has been and always will be by the hand and grace of God that we are who we are!

“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love” (1 John 4:7-8).

Most of us think that we really understand the love of God, but our experience proves otherwise. We feel lonely, depressed, discouraged, and defeated. Every one of these negative emotions would be turned to positive by a proper revelation of God’s love for us.

There are many ways that Satan uses to try to block the revelation of God’s love for us. One of the most subtle, and therefore the most deadly, ways is that he has deceived us into thinking that God’s love for us is tied to our performance. We think we have to do something to earn God’s love. We have to merit God’s love. That is not what the Bible teaches.

In the natural world, you get what you deserve. Employers don’t hire you based on their love for you. You have to perform. If you perform badly, you are punished or fired. The same thing is true in most relationships. I’ve had hundreds of married couples essentially tell me, “They don’t deserve my love.” However, the nearly-too-good-to-be-true news of the Gospel is that we don’t get what we deserve. Praise the Lord!

God’s love for us is unconditional. That is, God doesn’t love us because of some virtue we possess. God loves us because “God is love” (1 John 4:8), not because we are lovely.

Religion is one of the biggest propagators of the conditional-love-of-God lie. Most “Christian churches” teach that God’s love for us is conditional, based on our performance. If we pray, go to church, pay our tithes, etc., then the Lord loves us and answers our prayers; but if we fail, then the Lord won’t answer our prayers. That’s not true.

What is spiritual warfare continued?! Some say we have to know the spirits were fighting. I don't need to know if the spirit coming against me is Jezabel, Python, Judas, or any other name; all we need to know is the enemies' devices. What is the enemy trying to do that will move you away from faith?

You are not alone, there are others out there just like you that have gone through trauma and are being delivered! Don't let the enemy count you out with guilt, shame, and condemnation; God is not done with you or mad at you! Jon explains how he was attacked by a demon that put supernatural fear and terror on him and told him, "God removed His Spirit from you." This attack was so traumatizing it created PTSD symptoms and constant emotional flashbacks that were paralyzing. The enemy will seek to isolate you from God, and he will cleverly turn the Word of God against you by showing you all the scriptures that seem to condemn you. Tune in and listen and be sure to subscribe!
