Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Germany is the world leader in the mindless plunge into wind and solar energy. Now in a bitter winter, Germany is discovering that solar panels covered with snow produce zero - as in zip, nada, zilch, zero - energy. It’s 30,000 wind turbines are barely producing anything, since the wind isn’t blowing. Altogether, Germany is meeting between 0 and 3 percent of its energy needs from green sources. So where has Germany turned to keep its lights on and its houses warm and their factories running? They’ve had to fall back on coal, the bane of greens everywhere. Without coal, the entire country of Germany would be in a virtual total blackout 24-7. In the future, It will have to rely on natural gas from Russia and nuclear power from France. Bottom line: wind and solar are not the wave of the future in energy.
