BIOGRAPHY : Ratus discovered Computer Aided Music on Fruity Loops in 2006 to create rhythms that would accompany him on the guitar. But it was in 2007 that he started to create more seriously a melodic, psychedelic Hardtek, full of crazy sounds, mainly inspired by EDM, D'n'B, Trance and Krautrock. After having scoured the free parties of the north and south of France as a public, artist, and involved organizer, and with several singles and albums to his credit as well as hundreds of dates in legal events all over France, Ratus is now a must-have of the underground scene. Since 2012 he has been running the cultural association and label Sonik’Art Records, now supported by his wife Athenalys, also a DJ and producer. Musically he now travels between Tribe, Hardtek, Acidcore, Frenchcore and Hardcore, styles in which he distils saturated guitars, big drums, vocals, and psychedelic or retro synths. In addition, he has created a YouTube and TikTok channel with the motto of sharing his passion for music and giving tips to help young beginner musicians improve.
