Lali Shyama: Recent Episodes

...With her roots in jungle music, Lali dedicated herself to turntablism and experimenting on Ableton over 10 years ago. Recently she has been seduced by the dark side of psychedelic music, finally uniting her with the sound she has always craved. The translation of her alias reflects her musical style, Lali; playful, Shyama; darkness. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I started spinning Jungle records when i was 14 and making beats on Ableton by 15, my original sounds came out like glitch, dub and breaks with a dose of shamanic medicine, but i never felt true resonance with my sounds. In 2014 i went to India on spiritual pilgrimage and in Goa fell in love with the darker sounds of psytrance.
