WE'RE HERE TO CHALLENGE YOUR VIEW OF CHURCH
It's not where we go. It's not what we do. It's who we are! We are the Body of Christ! WE ARE THE CHURCH!
1 Corinthians 12:27 • Ephesians 4:4-16

Where are the purpose driven servants of God? The assignment of the Holy Spirit is not easily quenched. In this session, the Father is looking for those who will obey the specific assignments He has ordained for each of us, regardless of the sacrifice required. Are you compelled?
God made you! Never allow the demands of this world to dictate your life. Instead, embrace what your Father says concerning you, and learn to love who He has created you to be.
Know who you are! People, things, and circumstances often cause us to lose sight of our true identity in Christ. Regardless of what you see, know who you are!
What is the power behind prevailing prayer? Relationship! If you're looking to maximize the power of prayer in your life, tune in!
God is love... And we are striving to be like Him. True love comes by sacrifice and requires sacrifice, even from us. Have you fully embraced, fully, the responsibility to love the Father and others?
This message is an excerpt from our Worship Fellowship teaching where we were reminded of our duty to WORK for the Kingdom. What are you willing to do for the Father? All He wants is obedience. If the rocks were made to worship, SO WILL I.
Chances are that you're not living out your full potential in God. Being a true servant of God doesn't hinder, but empowers us. YOU should be doing great things. YOU should be tearing down altars and Kingdoms that come against the Word of God!
Did you know that your consistency is a direct reflection of your character? Too many people want praise for their occasional good works when their consistent actions do not reflect Christ. It's time to take a sober assessment. Who you are, without the exceptions, is really who you are. Deal with it!
Are we really loyal to God? If so, we will do His work. Believe it or not, Scripture teaches that much of our earthly ministry should involve caring for the poor and disenfranchised. How do you measure up? Take a listen to this frank and direct home fellowship teaching and discussion.

Too many are trying to please God while distancing themselves from the Body of Christ. We must be reminded that there is only ONE WINNING TEAM! We are not called to be islands, but to work as one Body for the glory of God! Everyone must pick a team. Be sure you're on the one that wins!
Apostle Preston Mitchell shared a message of encouragement about the root cause of division in the Body of Christ and how we, as believers, can usher in the spirit of love and unity. What an awesome word of clarity and truth!
Do you find yourself struggling with the things of God? Perhaps it's time to CHECK YOUR CONNECTIONS! Are you being choked by a yoke?
Listen in to this introduction to the Book of Proverbs - the first Bible study in our journey through the Book of Wisdom.
The greatest among us will be the SERVANT! Many of God's people want more. We desire "greater", but haven't yet understood true servanthood.
So you want God to "put more on you." You want Him to "fill you up." You want to "be more like Him."
Why? God has already adorned His people with so much that we take for granted and do nothing with. To our shame, as believers, we are all dressed up with nowhere to go!
Discipleship is key to spiritual growth. Salvation requires a personal experience with God, and spiritual maturity requires discipleship - a healthy, unified interaction with God's people. To build God's Kingdom, we must all be willing to both teach and learn. Selah.
Want to be great? Be humble! Matthew 23:12
Don't forget where you came from. Some of us think more highly of ourselves than we ought. Pride always comes before destruction. Selah.
What if the prophetic word you release seems false because the people actually heed the warning and repent? Or if you pray for your enemies and they are actually blessed? Can you handle it, or will you throw a tantrum with God? Selah.
Did you know that YOU are a seed? Life is on the inside of you. Potential is building up inside of you. Now, you need only to die in order to live and give life to others.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. (John 12:24)
Unity is the desire of many people. Yet, unity comes only through a consistent relationship with the Father, through His Son. The Messiah unifies. We, the Church, must connect to worship if we are to connect to one another. Selah.
A word of warning and instruction for 2017... May God shower you with blessings and grace in the New Year!
What time is it? This question is asked dozens of times per day by people all around the world. Unfortunately, too few in the Body of Christ are asking God, "What season is it?". This message is all about discerning the season in your life. After all, time and season are two different things.
The measure of a person is the fruit they bear. The fruit of salvation is righteousness, and the fruit of a relationship with God is obedience. We must examine ourselves. Are we producing what our Savior produced in the earth? Are we moved by gifts and spontaneous works, all the while ignoring the matters of the Kingdom? This is a message of self-examination, sealed with a direct reminder -- Holiness is required!
Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart." You have a choice! Discipline yourself to find joy in God's presence.
What is your purpose? Why were you created? What has God called you to do? The answer may not be as difficult as one thinks. Take a listen.
During this Bible study, we delved beyond the definition of spiritual gifts to discover God's purpose and the manner in which the gifts should flow in addition to the appropriate governance of the same. Part II will deal specifically with vision, assignments and callings.
Don't give up just yet! There are many areas in our lives where we have allowed our faith in God to dwindle. We move on and forget the seemingly impossible promises of the past. That possibility may seem dead, but it's not over until God says it's over! Be encouraged.
Before anything else, our job is to LOVE... God first, then our neighbors as ourselves. Let's not forget the FIRST commandment to establish and maintain relationship with the Father. #Focus
Only in the institutionalized church do we display and celebrate unfinished, useless, marred and broken pottery! God's people must obey the Father in purpose and assignment. Doing so requires a process.
It's not necessary to revisit your past in order not to forget it. When God brings deliverance, STAY DELIVERED! When God has given us a better way, we must be careful not to revert to what is comfortable. Beware of doctrinal regression!
Many are praying for unity in the Body of Christ, as we should. We can't forget, however, that unity requires that honor and respect be given where due. It requires humility and the ability to treat others as greater than oneself. It requires loyalty and faith. Are you loyal to your brothers and sisters in Christ? Are you able to humble yourself to honor those who are deserving, according to God's plan rather than your own expectations? Selah.
Are you revolutionary... or simply rebellious? Our Father commands His people to follow the laws of the land, give honor where due, and respect others while on this earth. Our Kingdom authority does NOT excuse of from these basic principles. The power of God will give us the wisdom to excel in this world, demonstrating exploits before men, that God will get the glory!
There is a sound! God always announces Himself before He moves. His covenant declares that He will not move without a warning. We must tune in!
So often, we get on God's "bad side" by thinking that our being deep somehow covers our lack of obedience to the "simple things." We mustn't forget simple obedience if we want to remain on God's good side... the side of FAVOR!
Dr. Joy Allen instructs a Bible study on spiritual maturity and the need for God's people to grow in our relationships with the Father.
"Lord, teach us to pray..." Luke 11:1
Will you answer the clarion call to gather and pray?
On Saturday, April 9, Breath of Life hosted a workshop completely dedicated to prayer! The day was filled with instruction, application, encouragement, prophecy, worship and of course, PRAYER!
This teaching excerpt is from a lesson on different methods and modes of prayer, instructed by Joy Allen.

Vision requires obedience. Listen in as Pastor Chris Allen, through the life of Abram, demonstrates that true ministry is not about the individual, but the will of God for His people. The promise requires sacrifice!
"Only God can judge me." WRONG!!!
Children of God have a responsibility to judge and live above judgment. Let's RIGHTLY divide the worth of truth as we examine, through the message, the responsibility for righteous judgment.
Elder Portia Daniels releases a word of instruction regarding the access to and handling of spiritual information.
Like Samson, many of us walk in a false sense of security, hiding behind our God-given gifts, callings and strengths. We are so concerned with distinguishing ourselves from other men, but not concerned enough with being like Christ. Selah.
Now is not the time to be "safe". God's people should be stirring things up, both in the world and in the church.
Like Jesus, we who are servants of God should have a reputation. We should be known for "stirring things up" and crying aloud, while sparing not. What's your reputation like? Do you ever stir up trouble?
At Breath of Life, we LOVE TO WORSHIP! Even before services actually began, the Father allowed us to enter His presence. Here's a sample to ignite your worship! To GOD be the glory!
WARNING: If you enjoy sulking and throwing pity parties, DO NOT LISTEN!!!
Otherwise, join us for this journey through the life of Joseph. You have no excuse! At some point, you must decide to walk out of the "wilderness". You must BOUNCE BACK!
Due to winter weather, many were snowed or iced in this morning and unable to travel to their places of worship. That couldn't stop God's people! The ministers of Breath of Life came together to share the word of the LORD with the Body of Christ, who gathered on the line for prayer and prophecy. We are thankful for the fellowship and edification. To GOD be the glory!!!
Portia Daniels, our sister and a great Teacher of God, shares a sobering message about true faith, which leads to obedience and empowers us to overcome. Without true faith, it's impossible to please God!
Masochism is a state in which people get pleasure or satisfaction from their own demise, harm, pain or humiliation. In the body of Christ, too many are stuck settling for less than God's best... and they are enjoying it. It's time to break the cycle, in Jesus' name!
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit of the LORD is saying to the church... for 2016.
You are an original! Be who God has called YOU to be. In the Body of Christ, we are called to look like Christ, not one another. Walk in your authenticity!
In Matthew 5, Jesus taught His disciples about the character that would inherit the Kingdom of God. That same Kingdom of Heaven is NOW. Do we possess the characteristics necessary of Kingdom citizens?
The presence of the God is imperative. The Lord's Church cannot operate in the state of Ichabod. Holiness and obedience are required, lest we repel His presence. This message is a call to repentance, sobriety and sanctification. After all, we cannot do anything without the glory - the manifested presence of the Father.
God's provision for TODAY is miracle enough. As Kingdom citizens, we must learn to CHOOSE JOY and BE THANKFUL for the daily blessings provided by our Father. His grace, His love, His provision... it is sufficient for TODAY!
Believe it or not, this message is NOT ABOUT MONEY! As priests in the Kingdom, we often rob our Father of the sacrifices He most desires - our hearts, talents and gifts. Are you robbing the Father for selfish gain? Let us all examine ourselves...
We all have bitter moments in our past... Behaviors, events and decisions we are not proud of. Regardless, God has chosen us. He's using even our mistakes for our good. Yes, even that is a part of His divine plan. Be encouraged by this parallel to young Samson's life. You can't escape your God-ordained destiny, despite the error of your ways in the past.
It's time to grow up! We are called to move on to perfection... to be like our Father. This message challenges God's people to press for maturity and growth. Holiness is right!
Our positions in the Body of Christ must be used as directed by the Father for service, not as a platform for flesh. Don't allow your position to foster pride in your heart, lest it be lost. God can (and will) fire those who lose sight of His Kingdom building purpose! Just ask Saul...
The Body of Christ is plagued by entitlement. Yes, Jesus died to make us free. That doesn't mean, however, that we have access to everything without cost or sacrifice. There are still some spiritual areas where ACCESS IS DENIED.
In Matthew 23, the Messiah teaches His disciples through the negative example of Pharisess and Sadducees. Today, the leaders in His church must learn not to be "like those guys." Pride is an issue that must be confronted.

Too often, we judge others based on tradition and outward appearance. God, however, judges the heart. We, as His people, must learn to be honest and transparent so the Father can heal us. You took a shower, but did you clean out your ears? Selah.
In the Body of Christ, many believe that because they are born again, God will not allow them to suffer any consequence of past mistakes. In this message, through the life of David, Apostle Joy demonstrates that God is not mocked... whatever we reap, we will sow, even as born-again believers. We are new creatures, but not all our circumstances are necessarily renewed. Selah.
Worship, believe it or not, has a protocol. The Father has specified requirements that must be met in exchange for intimacy with Him. It's time for us to return to pure worship, untainted by entertainment and vain glory. God is warning His people about the strange fire being offered... "Don't touch Me like that!"
In the Body of Christ, we simply have too many excuses when it comes to doing the will of God. Regardless of our creative reasoning, disobedience still results. It's time to walk in obedience, without the lip service. No more excuses!
We often forget the concept taught in Jeremiah 18 - that God is the potter and we are the clay. Too many of God's people are trying to define themselves, rather than simply accepting what God has made us to be. Ask yourself, "Why?" Surrender, and let God shape you!
There is a new "buzz" word in the Body of Christ - OFFENSE! What does it truly mean to be offended? Too often, when our own feelings are hurt, we cry "offense" simply because it feeds pride, coddles our own emotions, and pushes the need to repent off on someone else. It's time to tell the TRUTH about the spirit of offense.
NOTE: This message was immediately followed by a round table discussion, which was not recorded.
No, the devil didn't make you do it. You CHOSE to do it, and you MADE PROVISION, or created opportunity, for the sin to be manifested in your life! It's time for the Body of Christ to take responsibility. We are not victims. Let's be honest before God, that our sins can truly be forgiven and our souls truly delivered.
As the body of Christ, we are often ashamed of or embarrassed by the things that SHOULD distinguish us as believers, while we tend to celebrate things of the world. God, change our hearts!
As the body of Christ, we are often ashamed of or embarrassed by the things that SHOULD distinguish us as believers, while we tend to celebrate things of the world. God, change our hearts!
As believers, God has positioned us to deal with issues of injustice. The Church, as always, must be separate from the world, even when dealing with difficult political and economic issues. The excerpt from Bible study outlines Scriptural guidance to govern our actions against injustice, as the Body of Christ.
Note: The discussion portion of our Bible study session was not recorded.
What is your major malfunction? For many, in the Body of Christ, it's that we make excuses to feed our pride, doubt and unbelief. We need to realize who we are... that God doesn't love us simply because we name the name of Jesus. In fact, He sent His Son BECAUSE He loves us. Relationship with the Father is key. If we operate as anything other than sons and disciples (i.e. Christians, church goers, believers, religious, etc.), we are MALFUNCTIONING!
Believe it or not, God WANTS to know what is truly on your mind. He wants us to speak with Him, ask Him questions and enjoy time in His presence. Prayer is about more than a religious ritual... it's about maintaining a RELATIONSHIP with our Heavenly Father. Are you close enough to God to negotiate with Him? Selah.
Jesus is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE... If we are not following Him, obeying and acknowledging the truth, living a NEW life, we don't truly understand the resurrection. Putting the false religion and pagan practices aside, what's left speaks of a resurrected Christ in our lives... or not.
In this message, Pastor Chris Allen reminds us that our only comparison is Christ. We cannot get complacent because we are living "better" than "the next guy." How do we compare to the example... Jesus, the Christ?
Smells often reveal the identity of a thing before our eyes confirm the image. Almost everything of importance produces an odor. That odor resembles the fruit we produce. What scent is God receiving from His people? What fragrance are we emitting?
Proverbs 14:12 declares, "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." In this message, Teacher Portia Daniels reminds God's people that our obedience to God means we must sacrifice our own understanding, notions and desires to do things God's way.
Spiritual maturity demands that we deny pride and rejoice even when God blesses out enemies. We can't ever allow ourselves to think that God can call, bless, anoint or send only those we approve of. God isn't a groupie! It's time to grow up!
Don't fall prey to spiritual peer pressure, which quickly manifests into control and manipulation. We must remember that God's way is almost never the most popular way. Stand!
The mind is a spiritual battleground. The devil is toying with many believers because the church often stresses taming the flesh, but fails to foster a renewed mindset. Without a renewed (changed) mind, our salvation is not complete. We must allow God to give us the mind of Christ.
Despite popular opinion, gifts, miracles, influence... none of it matters if love is absent. With so much focus being placed on the "tangible" signs of church and ministry, we forget that God's greatest desire is for us to love. Love God. Love people.
Pastor Chris Allen encourages God's people to endure the process to perfection. Your process is not only for you, but a blessing to others!
God wants to perfect YOU. Spiritual maturity requires a process. To continuously please our Father, every believer must submit to a process of purification unto holiness. Are you ready to mature?
It's time to restore and rebuild some broken areas in your life. You may have failed before, but God is calling us to finish the course!
Why do "saved" people get upset when God blesses others? These things ought not be so. Be encouraged by the word shared during the affirmation/consecration service for Pastor Arlease Hill.
Many in the Body of Christ are satisfied with exposure to God's power and presence, but they are not willing to seek access to Him through relationship. It's time to shift from an experience to an abiding!
