I'm a retired vocalist. I'm the founder of Voiceworks Studio, an Irish based vocal tuition school. I'm a retired vocalist. I've worked with artists including Bon Iver, Damien Rice, Roisin Murphy (Moloko), Gilbert O'Sullivan, Jenny Greene & The RTE Concert Orchestra, James Vincent McMorrow and many more. I've worked for TV productions including Dancing with the Stars and The Late, Late Show. I released an album called In My Nature in 2019. I've a Masters in vocal performance, education diploma (LRSL), certification in habit training (Tiny Habits) and I'm a former board member of Vocology in Practice, global network of voice experts. This week's challenge:
Step 1: Think of one habit you’d like to add to your day that would take less than 5 minutes and is easy to do. Example - take my vitamins, floss my teeth, do 5 squats, water my plants, drink a glass of water first thing in the morning..
Step 2: Find another existing behaviour of yours and put your new habit AFTER it. Example after I brush my teeth I will floss. After I switch on the coffee machine I will do 5 squats. The existing behaviour is your prompt.
Step 3: You need to celebrate immediately after by saying yay, go me, well done, wohoo or anything that makes you feel good. Emotions create habits, if your brain associates a positive emotion with doing a behaviour it’s going to want to repeat it.

So you're looking into the future, 2 years from now, October 2022. The phone rings and you're expecting some REALLY GOOD NEWS in relation to your artist career. Who is this call from? And what do they say? Pause audio, ponder and pen to paper.

It's a Thursday, you're packing your bags to go on tour for the next month. You're about to open for an amazing act and your manager thinks their audience will become instant fans of yours! Who is the act that you are opening up for? Pause, ponder and pen to paper.
Question 3:
You're looking at everything you packed to make sure you've included all of your live show outfits. Describe your favourite one. Pause, ponder and pen to paper.
Question 4:
You've been nominated for an award this year so you're going to have to take a two day break from the tour to accept it.

Write down one of the messages from a fan and describe the fan - Age/Gender/Interests/Personality/Adversity/Career/School Take a few mins, pause me and pen to paper.
Question 7:
You're sending a pump it up! message to your band/production whatsapp group. Who is in this group? What kind of line-up are you touring with? Pause, ponder and pen to paper. (it’s so exciting I can’t wait for you to do this tour!
