We are instructed through scripture we must die daily. We have to choose daily to crucify the old man, our old ways of thinking and doing. Old things have passed away and all things have become new.

Often times we are quick to point out and try to remove the speck in someone else eye, but God calls for us first to remove the beam in our own eye. What choice have you been making lately?

Joshusa 24:15 informs us to make a choice. The choice of whose God you want to serve. That choice is still echoing today. What God are you serving, the god of this world or the true and living God?

Most of don't realize how important we are, how loved we are or how necessary we are. We may fee our life is worth nothing but John 10:10 kills that lie the enemy tries to tell us because Jesus came that we may have life and life more abundantly.

It is easy to blame God for so many things going wrong in this world, but maybe just maybe we should check to see how often we have crossed his boundary lines. Thus creating chaos for ourselves due to consequences. There is much freedom within God's boundaries.

The race is not given to the fast or the strong but to those who endure until the end. Remember life will hand us crazy situations and circumstances but don't give up. You just have to endure through it. It is the just a building block.

Jesus' Blood covers all our miss steps, wrong directions bad choices and sin. We all have come short because of this fallen world but thank God He has a covering for whatever we do.

Hope is placed in the most inconspicuous place. It is placed in the mist of a group of people suffering from their disobedience. Hope is placed in the same places of our lives.

Renewing your mind is the first step to making your goals. Setting your mind on things above clears your thoughts of distractions of the obstacles you may face and give you answers to problems of today. All things start in the mind.
It is 2022 many have made New Year's Resolutions but gave me one word Refocus. Maybe you have gotten a little slack in some areas of our lives. We must take time to refocus our minds and get them set.
So often we quite things before we have an opportunity to see if we can really do it. We are as fearful of failing we never reach success. Success is found in failure. So embrace failure so you can find success.
Jesus came into this world to fill a void. We were lacking a Savior and Jesus could only fill it. Whatever you feel you are lacking in Jesus is willing and able to fill it.
Bad things happen in life and negativity surrounds us everywhere we go but we do not have to give it power to rule us.
For unto us a Child was given. God gave us the greatest gift we would ever receive that was His Son Jesus. Since we are reflections of him let us also give the greatest gift ever to each other.
When Jesus was born a star a light appeared in the sky. These men had be looking for this light for a long time. In your situation search for the Light
Some times we miss our blessings because we didn't show up. We allowed the enemy to block us and we gave up. What blessings are you missing out on because you didn't just show up?
Hebrew 12:5 lets us know our memory is not as good as we think. But God is so gracious and loving to keep repeating His Words and how His Word encourages us.
Abraham when he was called to take his son Isaac to the mountain, he had servants with him. However he told them after a certain point you stay here. There are times you will have to leave your help and do it on your own.
Isaiah 61:3 offers us an exchange with God. He would take our mourning, ashes, heaviness, and exchange them for his joy, beauty, and praise. No matter what you are carrying today go to God and make an exchange.
We are so busy in our lives we sometimes forget to take out time in prayer and studying of the Word of God. We then find ourselves stopped on the side of the road. So don't forget to refuel your spiritual tank.
Luke 14:25-35
Have you counted the cost to follow God's truth? In this life if we are to follow God we have to know that there is a cost. The stumbling block of truth placed on the path of wickedness may come at a cost to you because unrighteousness will always stand up against righteousness.
As we embark on the Thanksgiving holidays, it reminds us to give thanks. So many things happen to us so often we can sometimes forget to give God thanks for all the good in our lives. The simple things like breath, family, friends, grace, mercy, love, freedom. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 reminds us give thanks in everything.
We all have imperfection we would like to see removed from us physically but what about our spiritual and emotional imperfections? We have an opportunity to be reshaped by being placed on the God's potter's wheel. Are you willing to be reshaped? Jeramiah 18:1-6
Often we can get caught up in our day to day life and give God our leftover times. talents, finances, etc. God is looking for our best and it may vary day to day but God deserves our best.
When life hits who are what do you run to for peace. Most run to do drugs, alcohol, sex, food, or unhealthy choices but God wants us to run to Him bring all our problems and situations Matthew 11:28-29
With so much chaos going on in the world and the voice of God's people are being muffled it can get tiring. It can make you feel overwhelmed and get weary. However we cannot throw in the towel because our shield and protector is coming in to cover us.
We often miss the opportunity of being excited about a new day. With mundane work routines we forget all the promises God gives to us with a new day. Let's bring some of them back to remembrance.
Often we follow the crowd wanting to be like them. But we are called to be separate and peculiar people. Let us not be like the children of Israel wanting to be like others. 1 Samuel 8:20
Often times we thing we need a crowd to do something but Matthew18:19 lets us know there is power in just 2.
What you give is what you get. When you give your time, talents, money, whatever scripture tells us it will return in abundance. Luke 6:38
To Be renewed is an action word. What do you want to be renewed in and what is your action plan? Ephesians 4:23
On this journey with Christ We often go through different stages and God has to offer us something totally different than what we were previously experiencing. His goal is to change our taste just as he did for the Israelites when He provided manna.
Exodus 16 lets us know God does hear our complaints. Come with me and let's discuss it,
We don't have to wait for the preacher to proclaim each person in Christ has been anointed in their own way to proclaim the Good News.
Isaiah 61:1 begins with The Spirit of the Lord is upon me He has anointed.... What has God anointed you for? Let's discuss
We often say we know God in these different areas but how do we know Him in these areas? It is only by the circumstance providing an opportunity for Him to show himself in that light.
You must know God has already fixed your situation. He as already cleared the path because He goes before you.
We were never meant to be in the dark. There are seasons of darkness but light is still available because Jesus is the LIght

We don't have to be afraid of anything in this world. Because has given us a promise. Let's discuss his promise.

The bible ask what is worth our soul. Often we will reply with nothing but we tend to forget about the little things we do. Let's talk about it today.
Micah 6:8 Are you walking with God or requesting God walk with you? Is there a difference? Let's talk about it.
Micah 6:8 God gave us 3 requirements here we talk about love mercy. To love mercy we must choose to forgive someone of their debts rather than throw the book at them. One must hold them accountable but show leniency. How often have you shown someone mercy vs how often God has shown it to you?
Micah 6:8 God has given us 3 things he desires of us one is to do Justly be fair but who do we be fair to and whose standards do we use in fairness?
Ever want to just talk with God truthfully and tell him how you feel? Well God has an open door policy. Just come in have a talk. We have an opportunity to speak truth to Power,
We all face different giants in our lives but, we can't allow those giants to cause us to fear. We must walk in faith because when God tells you you are victorious then somehow we must believe the giants can't harm us
Are our ideas, actions, talk, motives, etc in real truth or in a distorted truth made to make us feel right instead of be right? There is only one measure of truth Let's discover real authentic truth.
Luke 22:32 is the prediction of Peter's fall from a test but more than anything his conversion back. Have we just been saved or have we took it a step further and been converted?
It took the Woman in 1King 17 to see her son revived to life for her to really believe Elijah was a Man of God. What will it take for you to believe God?
1 King 17 is about a widow woman ready to die because of the famine in the land. There are times when a famine will come in your life and your are just ready to die but God will send a life line.
Where the world systems tends to have more than one set of standards depending on the situation or who you know the Kingdom of God does not. We will all be held to the same standards of God. So be careful of the stones you want to cast.
If God told you you could demand something of Him would you? Isaiah 45:11 God has done just that. He has told us to put a demand on his Word.
We have this version of God that sometimes does not line up to his plan. What do you do when your version of God doesn't look like you think it is suppose to look?
As children in the school yard, sometimes we were tested by drawing a line in the sand and baiting someone to cross it. In Christ a line has been drawn in the sand are you being baited or will you stand your ground? Let's look at 4 hebrew boys and learn from them.
Noah had some crazy faith. He believed God on something he never heard of. Do you have crazy faith?
Sometimes we need to take a walk through the the hall of faith found in Hebrews 11. When your faith gets weary or shaken. Let take a stroll through.
Often we think forgiveness is for the other person, but in reality it is for you. However there is another element to forgiveness , it will make you new.
Old things have passed away and all things are made new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

No matter what we go through God has a bigger plan. He uses everything in our lives toward His Master Plan.
How many times have you turned to other things to solve what was going on inside you? John 15:7 let's us know we must have God's word living on the inside. We must use the internal solution the our internal problems,

Hezekiah was pronounced death but he was able to draw from his spiritual bank account . Would you be able to draw from that account?
Deuteronomy 31 :8 , Isaiah 45:2,
God will go ahead of you. He is smoothing out the rough areas.
Often times we are struggling with issues because we are not rooted in Christ our source and supplier in all things. The question we can ask is are we really rooted in Christ our source and supplier?
Mistakes are a part of life. We make them. OK... but they should never stop us. They should be our stepping stones instead of stumbling blocks.
sacrifice an act of giving up something valued for the sake of something else regarded as more important or worthy
What are you willing to sacrifice for God
Often times we look in the mirror and see ourselves but forget what we see when we leave,
Psalms 121 ask a question Where does my help come from? We tend to think our help comes from our family and friends but all our help comes from the Lord
Sometimes we want others to carry us through our situations but there are times God is requiring us to walk through the dark .
Our lives are based upon choices. Choices others make for us and choices we wake for ourselves. What choices are you making today you have the power to change?
Are you only celebrating what we call Big victories and dwelling on each defeat no matter the size? How could it change our thought process if we were to celebrate all our victories especially the small ones or ones we call insufficient ones?
This walk in Christ we must walk it one day at a time. Often times we try to rush the process.
So often we look at things from our own lens tailor made us but are you willing to try on someone's else?
Have you ever asked why am I so prideful? Or excuse your pride because of others? Let's talk about it.
It's good to take pride in things we do but there is also a type of pride that can destroy you and the work you do. Proverbs 16:18
Do you feel like there are things you can't handle? Know there is a way of escape in Christ Jesus
Matthew 5:48 tells us be perfect as our Father in Heaven is perfect. Is this possible ?
Often times we worry and have anxiety about issues in our lives. If we are not careful it can turn into stress. But God gives us a way out 1 Peter 5:7. Let's see what God has us to do.
Have Faith a popular statement. Why do I have to have faith and who do I have faith in?
How many times do we ask God to be in control of our lives yet we give directions from the passenger's seat.
A battle is never won inside bunkers but it won on the field. Let's talk about why it is time to return to the battlefield

This weeks starts what is celebrated as Holy Week. Jesus was praised for all the miracle, signs , wonders and great sermons. Yet in one week he went from being praised to being crucified.
