We’re excited to announce the launch of a brand new podcast called “The Four:12 Podcast” aimed at digging deeper into our latest sermon teachings to build up the body of Christ.

As Paul writes in Ephesians 4:12, Christian leaders are called “to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.” That’s the heart behind this new podcast – to further unpack and apply the biblical truths we’re studying together each week.

On The Four:12 Podcast, We will do a deep dive into the Scripture passages and key insights from our most recent sermons.

The goal is that this podcast will be an encouraging companion to our Sunday teachings – equipping you, the saints, with a firmer grasp of God’s word and how to live it out in every aspect of your lives. It’s all about building us up together in Christian maturity and mission.

We’re excited to journey with you through The Four:12 Podcast and go deeper into the life-changing truths that the Lord continues to instill in us as a church family. Be sure to subscribe wherever you get your podcasts so you don’t miss our latest episodes.

Listen on Spotify or Apple Podcasts.

On Good Friday, Christians remember Jesus’ death on the cross as atonement for our sins. Good Friday takes place three days before Easter Sunday to represent the three days between Jesus’ death and resurrection. Join us at 6pm on Friday March 29 as we reflect on how much Jesus sacrificed for us on Good Friday which then deepens the joy and gratitude we feel for the gift of new life with Him that we celebrate on Easter Sunday at our regular time of 10am.

Aliza and Carlos, our missionaries to Mexico, shared this update and prayer request with us:

Forgive me for not writing sooner, but as we posted on our Facebook page, we made it safely to Mexico… and we learned a lot on our way here … things we may do differently on our next trip.

Regardless of any ignorance or errors on our part, God led us home and kept everything in working order in our car, and us safe. We praise Him for His hand on our trip and time in the States! We also praise Him for growing us in our new marriage, helping us become more like Christ, and guiding us in ministry.

We’ve enjoyed visiting new and old camps. Please pray that we could form a group (Bible study/microchurch) in a camp we had never visited before called Guayabitos. Many speak Mixteco and some Spanish, and are from Guerrero. We spoke with a really sweet family around their fire outside of their room last week.

Our prayer is that they’d be more interested in hearing about the Lord and His Word than the novelty of speaking to new people (although we love to socialize with them!) We also hope to gain permission to start a group in camp Guajira where we didn’t have permission last season, but it’s something that can change!

Please also pray for the remainder of my pregnancy (at 29 weeks now) and that I would find a good balance and be careful to not aggravate my back, as much as I can manage to, since I’ve had a lot of sciatica pain. Other than that, Carlos Gabriel and I doing very well!

Finally, we will be headed to Carlos’ family’s town and hope to be a blessing to them in many ways! He’s excited to see his extended family!

Blessings on your family as you continue to contemplate Jesus’ amazing birth and purpose for coming to this world!

Love,
Aliza and Carlos

Please join us in praying for them!

Our missionary to Mexico, Aliza Urias, shared this update with us recently:

*Carlos and I are rejoicing that he was recently accepted to be an ABWE missionary!

We are also overwhelmed by God’s goodness and provision to bring us closer to our monthly budget. We’re now at 72% for our family of soon to be 3!

We are looking forward to speaking at the local “Christian Church at Rural Grove” and at a church near Hershey, PA before leaving! And I know we’re all excited about family, food and a time of gratefulness at Thanksgiving!

We’d like to ask you for continual prayer for our teammate Anita as she’s going through an especially difficult time that has involved depression and anxiety. Please help us pray God would bring about encouragement and truth against any lies the enemy may be trying to tell her during this time.

God has also put on my heart to start sending out a devotional that is both gospel-centered, challenging and encouraging to women. I would send it to women that I discipled at one point in the camps, but who now live in their pueblo (town) or work in another part of Mexico. It will also help me keep in touch with them. I’m really excited about this opportunity and brainstorming a list of women and topics!

May God prepare you as you continue to reach out to your community, too!*
