Sincere progression requires pragmatic solutions that break free from the thought-parameters we have placed for ourselves while still being rooted in reality. Reflections Out Loud is an ongoing project where we critique and comment on various topics and issues in the hopes of meaningful development and fruitful guidance. At the core of our talks are Islamic thought and Islamic critique, serving as engines that drive our discussions.
In a video titled 'Liberalism: The Religion of the 21st Century' available on Youtube, Mr. Hijab erred in his understanding of some of the key points of Prophet Muhammad's contract with Quraish. I found it necessary to shed light on these errors and give my thoughts and two-cents on the matter.
