We spoke about his career path to joining NASA, his school days and his love for City. Expect lots of random space questions too
INTRO
Doug was selected as an astronaut in 2000. A veteran of three spaceflights, he was the pilot on STSโ127 and STSโ135 and Spacecraft Commander on the first crewed test flight of the SpaceX Crew Dragon, the Demo-2 Mission, during which he also served as a Flight Engineer on the International Space Station for Expedition 63. Hurley holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Tulane University. Before joining NASA, he was a fighter pilot and test pilot in the U.S. Marine Corps. He has spent a total of 93 days in space.ย ย

[x] Whitley began his career at Manchester City, signing his first professional contract at the age of 18 in 1993
-
[x] He made his debut for the first team on 3 January 1998 in a 2โ0 win over Bradford City in the FA Cup at the age of 22
-
[x] His first league appearance came the following week in a 3โ0 win against Portsmouth and he went on to make 21 appearances in all competitions before being voted the clubs young player of the year.
He remained a regular in the side until January 1999 seemed to fall out of favour and went onto join Blackpool on loan to play first team football, playing 8 times for the side before returning to Manchester City where his only appearance during the remainder of the season came in a 1โ1 draw with Huddersfield Town on 18 February 2000.
Then went onto to loan spells at Norwich City, Swindon Town and Northampton Town, he joined Wrexham on a free transfer.[4]

Kurt Wilby I always thought that it would have been an excellent pairing Hendry and Curle , utilising the aerial ability & power of Colin and the speed & guile of Curle. Only Real, Barca and Juve are at that level. That is to say, if a Mbappe, Haaland, Sancho are available and there's multiple bids, it's still those 3 clubs that will win out. All this talk of us getting Haaland in particular is nonsense. We essentially are at the stage of making good players better and thankfully not having to sell them. Also do you think we'll see a reduction on ticket pricing based on sales with so many games, and people just not having much disposable income to spend on games.
Personally have been to a lot of games and it costs a lot each time, not just tickets themselves but travel from Doncaster plus food n drink, I'll clear ยฃ200 per game for 2 adults.
I took our 4 kids to Fulham game and was stunned at numbers initially but then it's obvious with utd coming up where people would rather spend on.
