We are called to help people know Jesus. But you can't help people, if you believe that “God is mad at you.” Just like the prodigal son coming home to his father in shame, fear, and unworthiness - we ourselves get in a cycle of separation from he Father. But the Father is welcoming us home! In our mess, in our pain, in our problems - He is still welcoming us home and wants to wrap us up in His arms and hold us. Let’s break the cycle of Unworthiness & Fear.
We all have felt shame and guilt in our lives. That feeling that leaves us hopeless and unworthy. The enemy wants to get you to a place where you believe that God has forgotten about you and no longer loves you! God wants revive dreams and lead you to greater!
We all go through cycles of temptation. God is faithful to always make a way out, to deliver and to set free! What cycle does God need to fix in your life?
We all have been in a cycle before where we face hopeless situations! God is a good that turns those moments in life around!
God is wanting our attention! We have to live our lives with a poster of attention! We can treat God has common or treat Him with honor!

Jesus people are generous! How we give is according to how we view Jesus! In this season Jesus is looking for hearts that are giving and generous!
As Jesus people we are supposed to act a certain way. We are to love, to give, to forgive! We need to look to Jesus in this time and see what He would do!
There are lots of questions that we need answers in this season of life! In this message we go over them and find our answer in Jesus!
Jesus is not looking for our ability, He is looking for availability! He Is wanting a heart that is ready to serve, give and sacrifice for His kingdom!
When we are close to Jesus we don't have to try to bear fruit we just do it! When we are away from Jesus our souls become dry!
In this year we are called have to positivity, to speak positive and to praise! When we praise suddenly our worship opens up the door for God to work in our lives!
God wants to resurrect dreams, marriages and relationships. We have to come into agreement with what God is saying in this time and partner with God!
God wants to partner with us in this life! In any situation God wants to heal, restore and make whole! He needs up to partner with Him!
God is calling us to a life of surrender, to sit with Him as He speaks to us and guides our lives. What is in our way that we need to remove so we can sit with Jesus?
Time is the most important thing that we have! We have to live every single day on purpose! Are we full of the truth of God's Word and Ready to see Jesus come back?
When we are feeling overwhelmed, anxious and about to quit. There is one thing that keeps us going and that is the Grace of God. Allow God to empower you today to over come the adversity in your life.
Jesus wants us to live in boldness! Facing everyday with faith and expectation! We have to stir up the gift that God has placed in our lives!
Jesus does not want us to live with the fear of man in our hearts! His love cast out all fear!
Jesus wants you to know that you matter! That are you special because of the sacrifice Jesus made! We have to run to His love!
Jesus has a mission on this earth and we are to be part of it! What is God calling you to do today that will impact eternity?
Jesus is looking for hearts that are His. He told us to worship Him in spirit and in truth. When the world is pressing will our hearts remain His?
We believe that Jesus is coming back and Revival is close! Through the local church God is going to spread the Gospel to our city!
As believers we are called to live in Self Control. The Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness to overcome!
We need to stay connected to Jesus! He is our source for life! When we stay in connection with him and faith in him that's when we can really see His goodness!
The big question is "How do we view ourselves?" Do we view ourselves though human thinking? Or how God views us?

God has a promise land for you! Our job is to stand in faith, to hold on to what God promised us! With the news and social media on our left and right we have to remain in the Word of God!

When we need wisdom in life or help when times get hard where do we turn to? We have so many options. Jesus is the source of life. He is where we should run to when we are faced with hardships.
How many times In life do we run to comfort and security when the life hits us hard? Jesus wants us to not run away from Him but to run to Him. We have the choice today to build our lives on sinking sand or on solid ground.
In 2020 God's plan for your life is to live in wisdom. We have a choice of do we want to live in the worlds wisdom or in God's wisdom. God wants to rebuild in our lives!
As Christ followers are goal should be simple, becoming more like Jesus. Jesus changes the way we think and shows us constantly a new way of living. He put people first and served even the lowest.
Thankfulness changes how we see people, God and our world. When we choose to be thankful we are surrendering everything to God's plan.
In life we either agree with what God says about our situation or what the enemy says. When we agree with what God says then we are declaring freedom from worry, fear and doubt. We can live a life that is confident that what God says will happen.
God has not given us the spirit of fear but often times we live in it. We try to escape but still fear has the last word. Gods desire for you is to not live in fear but in boldness, love and a sound mind.
We have all asked the question of "How" to God in our lives. We want to know how this is going to work out? How am I going to have everything I need! God is looking for people that will take the step of faith in their lives and trust Him.
As we continue to look at our thought life we see that God wants our thoughts to be in His word so that the flame that God put inside of us can burn for Him. When trouble, worries and hardships come into our lives the Word promises us Joy!
In our lives Jesus wants us to be boiling hot for Him! Not luke warm or just going to church. It all starts in our thoughts. Do we see life according to the word of God. Do we think like Jesus?
Life is all about Jesus. Often times we forget about our love and passion for Him. But when we come back to that love we find that the best version of ourselves is the one that is passionately following Jesus!
Jesus said my yoke is easy and my burden is light. When we are walking with God and in His plan life can be full of life, joy and peace but when we choice not to walk in life with what Jesus sets before life can be empty.
When we have feelings of failure, broken dreams, weakness and disappointment we can be stuck trying to find the way to victory. God has a different plan for your life and just like Daniel in the Bible He will see you to the other side.
Often times in a relationship we are not committed to follow the way the Bible says to live. In our marriage or in a relationship we must forgive, be kind, be full of patient just as the Word of God instructs us to!
God is the designer of our lives! He knows us better than we know ourselves. He leads us, heals us, provides for us! Our minds can shift back between trusting God and trusting ourselves. God's plans are far better than ours, if we will just trust Him and follow His plan for our life. God will design our interactions, the words that come out of our mouth, if we are submitted to Him.
Offense can happen every where, It happens between co workers, moms, church members and spouses. Our greatest defense is to make room in our hearts for others faults. That is when we see true victory!
Jesus leads us Into victory! Just like David, we face giants in our lives, we have nothing to fear because the battle is the Lord’s!
When we ask God what He wants for our life, when we give Him Lordship over our life, then we can walk in a life of victory.
Jesus showed us the way to love. We are to see people as Jesus did. People can be messy and different than us but when we are full of the love that Jesus carried we show them the life that Jesus has for them.
Jesus taught us how to love people. As a church our goal is 600 people. We are taking the next step this fall and reaching the people that God has called us to reach!
In the midst of busyness Jesus always made time to minister, to heal and to love. In this message Pastor Levi challenges us to love our neighbors in the middle of busy life.
Worries cause distractions in our life. Worry of life and money can consume our minds everyday. Jesus promised us that if the birds are taken care of then our Heavenly Father will take care of us even more. Pastor Jeff challenges us to trust God in a new way and kick out worry!

The world tells many things we aren’t - funny, strong, rich, a leader - the list goes on and on. We feel that we are only worth what our pay check says, we identify with our job or career, we feel inadequate in our body. In “Who You Are” we see in the story of John, and of Adam & Eve in the Garden about how we can eliminate the enemy’s power over our identity.
Pastor Jeff shares with us 3 things that we need our children to know. A responsible followers of Christ and parents, it is our job to help our children find their identity in Christ. When our kids have no identity, they have no purpose, they have no mission - and you can be sure that someone else will give them an identity that comes from culture.
Living in Victory in Jesus is found in Romans 8. In Now I See Part 3 from Pastor Jeff Werkmeister, we learn that victory is found when we understand the Holy Spirit and his role in our life. The Holy Spirit renews our mind, leads us to repentance, and leads us to obedience.

In “Shadrach Meshach & Abednego” Pastor Jeff Werkmeister shares the thought of when we’re in a dark and scary place, when we feel alone, like God has left us- we have to make up our mind “What’s my Next Move”. Are we going to bow down to divorce, loneliness, pressure, being offended, unforgiveness… or are we going to believe in the promise go God? When you are in the situation you may ask God “where are you, what did I do wrong, why did you leave me” but the TRUTH is that God never leaves us. He asks us to walk through the fire, to have courage, to stand and believe in Faith that he has not forgotten about you.
Pastor Jeff Werkmeister delivers “The Enemy of Good” from Galatians 6 to help others and do good to everyone around us. Elevate’s Mission is to Feed, Take Care, and Love People. It is important as the community of Elevate transition to a new location, that the mission and vision is clearly defined - that we are to love and help people. The reason Jesus came was to help those that were paralyzed with fear, addiction, religion, shame, sickness, rejection - the list goes on and on… So let’s not give up, lets keep doing what is good and we will reap a harvest of blessing.
In “You Can Handle It”, Pastor Matt Chenoweth shares with us the power and confidence we have in the Holy Spirit when the enemy is attacking us. When we feel overwhelmed, we need to stand on what God’s Word tells us, and remember and declare how He provided victory in the last battle.
Some of the most life-giving verses can be found in Romans 5 - as Paul walks us through our undeserved privilege that we have because of the righteousness that Jesus has given us. You can lay down your trials, lay down you hopelessness because God brings JOY, and he brings PEACE. He promised these to us - and His promises never fade or change. So take refuge in the Lord for He greatly loves us (Psalm 118).
In “Set the Record Straight”, Pastor Jeff talks about the storms of life when we get rained on with issues. There are 5 truths of who God is at all times - but we really need to remember these truths in these difficult trials. He has a reckless love for us, He gives to us, He has authority over the enemy, You will face storms, and He is our refuge.
In “Thirsty” Pastor Jeff Werkmeister shares the real story of the Woman at the Well as she was not thirsting for water, but to fill her soul. As Jesus tells her of a well that she can drink from and never thirst again, we see that grace finds us right in the middle of our dysfunction. It is time that we let go of our dysfunction and grab onto the cross of grace.
At the end of Grateful series we learn about Paul & Silas and their thankful attitude. Despite Paul and Silas not being one of Jesus’ disciples, they were given the same opportunity to bring freedom to those who are lost and need Jesus. We have that same opportunity and God is saying NOW. He is also saying that we need to be uncomfortable so that we rely on Him and have 100% faith in Jesus. Also in this message is an excellent story from the Perez Family on how God suddenly changed their circumstance. Lastly, Pastor Jeff Werkmeister shares an update about the new building and the next chapter that Elevate is about to enter in, as we celebrate our 3rd birthday.
When we understand all that Jesus has done for us, then we desire to have a personal relationship with Him, and we learn his voice. Through the Holy Spirit, we are able to have a live relationship with Jesus that then empowers us with grace to overcome sin. In Grateful Week 3 we learn from John 10 and Romans 8 that Jesus is a Good Shepherd and when we listen to His voice, we do not have to live in doubt, fear, nor stay in our sin.
As Jesus is praying before he goes to the cross, there’s a lesson about gratitude. We need to die to our flesh, have the correct perspective that God wants us to have in our situation, and speak the truths from the Word. Having the correct perspective gives us ability to be grateful in all situations. Let us be grateful for what Jesus did at the cross - that He is Good and He made a way for us to live a life of victory.
The story of Joseph shows us that God has a blessing a victorious life for us to walk in - if we are grateful for the difficult times. Joseph had integrity to flee sexual immorality, to honor his Egyptian master, and kept faith in God’s promises despite his current circumstances. God wants to take us from the pit to the palace if we can keep our eyes on God’s plan in the hard times.
Your identity is not to sit in church. God has a divine plan and purpose for your life, right where you are, in your current circumstances. Jesus called a fisherman named Peter to be a disciple, and then shortly after Peter made the largest failure of his life - denying Jesus 3 times. God’s greatest call came on Peter’s life, right before his greatest failure. What is important is that God is Good and has a plan for our life, and restores even when we make mistakes. In “Confidence” Pastor Jeff Werkmeister shares from Matt 16 to walk in a Confidence about the plan and call on our life. That even when we make mistakes, that we do not need to live in fear, shame, or condemnation.
Jesus has some lanes that are going to be a little more difficult, but they are full of life. In “Wrong Lane” Pastor Jeff Werkmeister shares a few personal stories and John 4 showing us that through Christ we have the grace to handle any situation - if we choose the lane that Jesus has for us. We are the woman at the well, we have made many choices without Christ… and Jesus wants to give us Life in a new and fresh way - but its a narrow lane. “Let’s pick the narrow lane in 2019” - Pastor Jeff Werkmeister
A renewed mind is key to victory. Jesus did not see Zacchaeus as he currently was, Jesus saw him for who he would become. Luke 19. Join us in “Tuned In Part 3” as God transforms us into new people by changing the way we think and approach life. There are 7 ways to know if your mind has been renewed by Christ. You live in hope; the impossible seems reasonable; you live in peace and not worry; you like yourself and you are good in your weakness; you are quick to forgive; you are thankful; you believe in others.
God wants to lay a foundation of Victory for us in 2019. But most of the time we out our faith in ourselves, a person, our boss - we want everything planned out for us in a way that we can see. In “Tuned In Part 2” Pastor Jeff Werkmeister shares that over time, we start to believe a lie that Jesus does not care about things in our lives. The TRUTH is that all God really wants is for us to talk to Him (prayer), and guess what - it’s totally ok to not have your life together all the time when you talk to Him. Mark 6. You don’t have what you want because you don’t ask your Father for it. God is a good Father - all He wants is for you to invite Him into your boat.
How can we have so much stuff and still not be “ok”? The answer to that question is - “what really satisfies our soul?” In “Tuned In” we journey through Romans with Pastor Jeff Werkmeister to remember the Good News of undeserved privilege (Rom 5). God’s heart for us is intimacy with Him… it is the only thing that will satisfy our soul.
In “David & Goliath”, Pastor Jeff Werkmeister talks about the giants in our life that cause us to run and hide. Whether it be anxiety, grief, shame, health, insecurity, or money - we are often overwhelmed by the talking of the Enemy. The question is - “how long will you allow your giant to talk”. 1 Sam 17, Rom 8, and Psa 103 show us that God wants to come alive in our Faith to face the giant - we are called to win! God needs us to win - He wants us to win. Our winning over the giants will show others around us that there is hope for victory in life.
In “Faith Fights Fear”, Pastor Levi Williams shares his story from recently being stuck on a rollercoaster, and how his faith in God fights against situations at all times.
The Bible is a living Testimony of Who God Is and of His Goodness. The blessings and goodness that He has for us, come in seasons. From understanding and putting our Faith in Him, to receiving the basic blessings, to seeing the impossible happen, to serving others and sharing His Goodness with others… In “Taste and See Part 4” we discuss the process to seasons that God works through in our lives.
In 2018’s social media culture, many believe they have something to share, that they are the expert on a topic, and as a society we are the blind leading the blind. What we need is time spent in the presence of God, we need Jesus to be our refuge. In “Taste and See Part 3” we find that God wants to provide riches, and strength, and energized power - through His Spirit, if we will ask Him, and spend time with Him.
Experiencing God’s goodness is possible when we change our thinking - re-educating ourselves - on what the Kingdom of Jesus has for us. One of the biggest shifts that must occur in a mature believer is on the topic of Giving (money). In “Taste and See Part 2” we learn what the Word says about “Don’t eat your seed” and how God wants us to test Him.
The enemy cannot force us to make poor decisions and choices. But he can trick us to think inferior thoughts about what God has for us. In “Taste and See” we learn that we have a choice to agree with the inferior thinking from the enemy... or to believe the Word of God and what He has for our lives.
