The sun has at last come to the north and the grass is green. So why not do a green episode? We talk about creatuires and spells. Underplayed cards and cards that as Eliot says “sees the correct amount of play”. Do you agree with our picks and thoughts?
At last it's time for a new episode! This time it was recorded live and streamed on Twitch. Watch the replay on our site or Youtube.
This time we talked about The Dark and the card Pestilence because reasons hehe. Hope you like it!
Hey there! What's that? Who's there? Well it is Markus Lundqvist (or is it actually Richard Stebbing?) Dragged from ye old Britannia and representing the Brothers of Fires crew he had a chat with us about this and that and one very special topic for him. This episode is for all of you itching to play more cards from the whole of 93/94 card pool and are crazy enough for some big stakes. Yes, we sat down with him in a pub to talk about the thing that is Ante 40k.

We open a Scryings booster with a bunch of spoilers. At least like… 10+! And they are really cool, we promise :)
You have probably heard of Scryings and that it is spoiler season! We at Wak-Wak got a spoiler to write about, but we had an opportunity to hear what a lot of people thought about the spoiler so we instead did an audio recording. Hope you don’t mind and without further ado, here it is!
And yes, Flippin’ Orbs will also have a spoiler later this month before we stream the first Scryings draft! The image of this post may give you a hint about what we have in our hands and will open on next episode!
What have they done!? What on earth should we do now? Maze of it is unrestricted in EC rules and we talk about what, how and when you can do something about that in this LIVE* episode of Flippin Orbs.
Gordon, Eliot and Seb discuss some ways to play Maze of Ith now with the unrestriction of the card in EC rules. What are the best interactions with maze? How do we find out the best card to make use of maze? What decks will be better? Come join us in this live* episode of Flipping Orbs.
*= We actually streamed this episode live on Twitch and there is a good chance we will do it again so do follow us there on twitch.tv/wakwakmtg. That also means we have video of this so if you want you can look at our beautiful faces as well on YouTube for this episode hehe.
Gordon, Eliot and Seb each brought to table one card to build a deck around. Some of the ideas may be viable, some may not. We also talk a bit about which is the coolest vanilla creature and of course the elephant in the room, how do we address all the drama that some pesky circles have done to our dear community?

This episode is part two of Episode 18 but it has been delayed so don't trust Gordon when he says it is episode 20. In this episode we talk about how to keep the interest and the format fun even though it doesn't change much. Also we talk about different ways and formats you can play to use your old school cardpool.
Yes, it is that time of the year again. N00bcon has come and gone and a month has passed, something that for many people is a sign that it is soon time for the almighty Old School blog to publish an update. What update you may ask? The ban and restricted list of course! That is, if there even will be any changes?
If you want to know, listen to the episode in which our Founding father Magnus “Mg” De Laval tells us for the third year in a row what will happen, why and also why things didn’t happen. This year it also comes with a sort of a warning, something to think about until next time.
Enjoy!
Feeling a bit like you missed out? Oh, do we have an episode for you! In this episode we talk to not one, not two, not three (getting tired yet?), but 7(!) non-Flippin’ Orbs people that were at n00bcon. We talk about the Wizard’s Tournament, The Urborg Feast, The main event and the MAIN Event and much more. Hope you enjoy this over 3 hour long episode!
Also, this isn’t really episode 22 of Flippin’ Orbs, it is “actually” episode 1 of Flippin’ Tings as we join forces with Bryan from All things Considered for a collaboration episode. Something that has been in the making for quite some time but at last came to fruition.

In this episode it’s only us hosts and the plan was that every host came up with a topic he wanted to talk about. That means we have three different topics and three different views on every topic. This is a special episode of Flippin’ Orbs recorded before Grant decided that he needed to take a break from the podcast. And isn't it fitting that this last episode is all Grant? He sat down in a pub with fellow Lords Matt and Carter and had a short talk and her it is completely unedited! That means the sound is a bit bad, but we hope you like it anyway.
