Visiting Widener University held off a fourth quarter rally by Stevenson University to post a 20-14 Middle Atlantic Conference football victory at Mustang Stadium Saturday afternoon.

Stevenson (4-4, 4-3 MAC) trailed 20-7 entering the fourth quarter, but with a drive that started at midfield following a 20-yard punt return by senior Preston Addo, cut the lead to 20-14 on a 20-yard completion from junior Dan Williams to senior Devin Salisbury to make it a 20-14 game with 5:02 remaining.

Junior Dan Williams was 23-41 passing for 247 yards and four touchdowns as Stevenson University downed King's (Pa.) College 38-9 in Middle Atlantic Conference football Saturday afternoon at Mustang Stadium.

With the win, the Mustangs (1-1, 1-0 MAC) won their 13th straight game in the month of September and were victorious in their fifth straight home opener. It also marked the fourth straight win over King's (1-1, 0-1 MAC).

Williams threw touchdown passes to three different receivers, with senior Preston Addo catching two touchdown passes and classmates Devin Salisbury and Dequan Ellison each grabbing one. Salisbury tied his own single-game school mark with 11 catches for 67 yards, while Addo caught seven passes for 132 yards. Ellison finished with five receptions on the afternoon for 71 yards.

Several program records fell as Stevenson University cruised to a 65-7 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) football victory over Misericordia University Saturday afternoon at Mustang Stadium.
