Decide on business name (pay to register with the state and renew every 5 years- in FL its sunbiz.org)

Choose between LLC and Sole Proprietorship

Obtain an employer identification number aka EIN (aka federal tax ID number, get from the IRS)

Open a business bank account (keep personal separate)

Find a location
-
Obtain business license from the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) renew every 2 years.

Submit Business Tax Application for your state to pay/collect sales and use tax. (Department of Revenue)

Obtain Resale Certificate to resell products without being charged sales tax when you purchase inventory.

Hire an accountant. (Either for monthly bookkeeping services or quarterly/yearly taxes or both. You need to pay income, self employment, and sales + use taxes.)

Brainstorm a business plan and choose which companies to work with. (What services/products you'll offer, equpiment, point of sale/scheduling system, policies, intake forms, consent forms, etc.)

Get insurance coverage for professional, general liability, and property if needed. (speak with an agent if possible- I used PPIB for my insurance.)

Marketing. (logo and branding colors, business cards, website design + domain, maybe get professional photos taken.)

Please understand: no foods CAUSE acne. However, some may affect our bodily systems indirectly. While I am not a doctor or nutritionist, these are some of the foods I notice in practice can have an affect on increased acne, that also have some scientific evidence to support.
If you are struggling with your relationship with nutrition currently, this may not be the episode for you as this episode covers food. There are no "bad" foods, and these foods are discussed in terms of their relationship to skin, NOT calories or weight gain. All of our bodies are bioindivideal, and foods that may be a trigger for one person, may not be a trigger for everyone.
