Welcome to The Wolf Whistle podcast - a nostalgic Wolverhampton Wanderers / Wolves podcast interviewing and celebrating the former players of our great club who have wore the Old Gold and graced the Molineux turf.
In the 115th edition of the podcast we talk to former forward Liam McAlinden. Liam speaks openly about being a local lad - joining the club at 7 and spending 16 years which culminated in 19 appearances and 2 goals for the club. The pinnacle being the infamous 10k to MK match in which Liam grabbed the winner in a 1-0 win with 10,000 away Wolves fans present. Liam talks about the ups and downs of football and the memories that it game him and the one that still sticks in his mind - ‘10i to MK’.
