We’ve now got three segments: Conversation Starters, Field Trip, & The English School. All of that to keep things fun and spontaneous for you! During the Conversation Starters segment, I answer five random questions…sometimes, on my own…other times, with special guests. But, I want you to be just as involved as I am! Below, you’ll see the questions that I had to answer in the podcast episode.

In my years of teaching, you have no idea how many times I've been asked the question, "How many hot dogs do you eat?" or, "What does a hamburger really taste like?" Even if the questions don't get that specific, people tend to ask a lot about the kind of food that's classified as "American." That why I'm here today, starting a new series in my journal and podcast, called "What We Actually Eat." Much about people's view of Americans, even down to what they eat, is highly based on what they see on TV. I'll just tell you right now, that ain't it bruh.

Joy to the world, I am back with another very special episode of The Notebook Podcast. It should be a short one. I'm starting a new mini-series called Story Time. Audiobooks are a nice way to get lost in a new world of adventure, romance, fiction, non-fiction...whatever you're into these days. Listening to an audiobook in your target language also a great way to improve your listening. Typically, however, these books cost money. And that can make it tough for people, so I decided to help.
Story Time is a series where I read portions of a book to you to help you practice your listening and comprehension skills. But not just that, I'll spend a few minutes talking about some great phrases in the passage that you can use in your own conversations and writing.

Hey guys, hope everyone's well. I have an English School episode for you today...the first of a mini-series I'm calling, "A Brief Explanation Of..." English is a crazy language, I am aware. There are lots of complicated grammar rules that are probably destroying your brain right now. One of my goals for this podcast is to help you understand some of those tinier issues. The more you're able to understand small rules, the easier it will be to understand those really complicated things in English.
