WE ❤️ THERAPY! 10/10 would recommend!!
Welcome back friends! We are SO excited about this episode, we have known we wanted to talk about this one for soooo long now and Mental Health Awareness Month felt like the perfect time! In this episode we are covering our journeys with finding the right therapist, our best therapy takeaways/what therapy has taught us so far and some resources for how you can get started if you want to talk to someone!
Learning to set boundaries, get comfortable with vulnerability and communicate well during conflict are some of the many things we have learned through our time in therapy. We hope that sharing these with you will help break down the stigma around therapy and mental health and bring in some new perspectives for you.
We hope you love this episode! If you want to talk about it our DMs are ALWAYS open for you over on Instagram, please don't hesitate to reach out. Please subscribe, rate and review the pod on Apple Podcasts if you're in the mood to make our day! Thank you so much for listening, see you next time!

This week has been a bit ~rough~ so we scrapped our original topic and decided to get real about how we're feeling lately (bad). If you happen to be feeling this way too, we're here to tell you you're not alone. Sometimes being a person and alllllll the things that go along with it just gets to be overwhelming.
This isn't just a 45 minute vent sesh though; in this episode we share what has us in a funk and what we're doing to get out of it! Just remember, tough times are temporary and joy is around the corner (hint: one of our fav affirmations)!
We hope you like this episode, please leave us a rating and review if you did, share it with a friend who could use a mid-week pick me up and connect with us over on Instagram for more! Thanks for tuning in!💛
Hi friends!
On today's episode, we are joined by our good friend, Rachel Perry. She has a killer Instagram feed, the best sweaters in the game, and the golden hour light down to a science - so we highly suggest you check out her page (@rachelizabethperry). Rachel is also a lover of all books AND a twenty-something, so she was an obvious choice for this episode's guest.
We dive into our thoughts about our book club pick, The Defining Decade by Meg Jay. We share some of our personal experiences and perspectives when it comes to things like careers and relationships in the twenty-something years. Whether you've read the book or not, we hope this episode gives you something to think about and maybe inspires you to pick up the book if you haven't already.
As always, subscribe to the pod and give us a review if you liked this episode, and follow us on Instagram for more! Thanks so much for listening!

Your twenties can be a pretty stressful time when it comes to your career. This week Bri will be riding solo to talk about her career journey post-grad and what she's learned through all the ups and downs.
Figuring out what motivates you, what you want in the short term and long term and what you're passionate about are all important steps towards making decisions that will ultimately effect your career path. When you can, it can be helpful to get some professional opinions and of course the opinions of the people closest to you.
We hope you feel less alone in whatever career struggles you might be facing right now, and we hope you took some tips away from this episode that can help you take the next step! Follow us on Instagram for more, and as always please share, rate and review our show! Thanks so much for listening, see you next time!

Raise your hand if you're having a quarter-life crisis!!!! 🙋♀️ (kidding... mostly) Dianna turned 25 last Friday, and Brianna only has about a week left of her ~youth~, so the girls decided it was the perfect time to reflect on their biggest learning moments from 20-25 and give some advice to their younger selves. From setting boundaries to putting off paying rent for as long as humanly possible to wearing more off the shoulder tops, they share the things they feel could have really made a difference if they knew then what they know now. Hopefully you can get a helpful tip or two from this episode and/or relate to the trial and error that is being a twentysomething. Speaking of twentsomethings, don't forget to keep reading The Defining Decade by Meg Jay for our Birthday Bookclub Episode coming out March 31st! If you feel like you can't read it in time, it also just came out as an audio book on Audible! Last but not least, follow us on Instagram and share this episode with a friend (younger sister? cousin?) you think would like it! Thanks for listening, see you next week!
Hi friends! Today Dianna goes solo on the pod to share her secrets about one of her favorite passions: thrifting. Many of you might be familiar with her thrift hauls shared on her personal Instagram (@diannacolontonio). In this episode, Dianna answers her FAQ's related to thrifting such as where to shop, what to look for, and how to make a plan to find the hidden gems! Her tips and tricks come from countless hours spent digging through clothing racks, tons of treasure hunts to furnish her apartment on a budget, and exploring thrift stores local to New Jersey and beyond. We hope this episode inspires you to shop secondhand more often and slowly replace fast fashion with the habit of thrifting. Not only is it better for the environment and your wallet, but its such a fun activity to do solo or with friends without breaking the bank! If you enjoyed this episode, leave us a rating and review on the Apple Podcast app and connect with us on Instagram for more content. Thanks for listening! XOXO, GWTFT
Happy March!!🥳 We both have March birthdays so we decided this month on the pod had to be extra special! Not only are we posting an episode every Wednesday, but we are kicking it all off with the juiciest episode to date!
We are spilling👏 the👏 tea👏 in this episode. From stealing cars to getting kicked out of bars, we're showing a new (slightly less desirable?) version of ourselves. Maybe we'll regret it later, but for now it is all out there for you to enjoy!

We hope you enjoy this episode wherever you are in your life right now. Hi guys! Today, Dianna is joined by Madison Mullins, one of her oldest friends to share their best and worst memories of the glory days. There was never a dull moment at Morristown High School, that’s for sure. We hope this episode leaves you feeling nostalgic and maybe you’ll want to call up an old friend to chat about the raspberry smirnoff days together too. Thanks to everyone who submitted their responses on instagram! Be sure to follow us @girlswiththefruittats and @madisonmulllins if you want to connect :)
HAPPY NEW YEAR!🥳 We are so excited to be bringing you our first episode of 2021!! We are talking all things New Year's intentions/goals/resolutions (whatever word strikes your fancy). We know that it can feel overwhelming when everyone is talking about goals and plans for the new year (especially when the future is so uncertain), but we hope to take the stress out of it and help you find a way that works for you! We share what we chose as our words of the year, share some of the words you guys submitted on our Instagram and go over the journal prompts we used this year courtesy of Jen Atkin. Last but not least, we provide a special ~gwtft~ prompt we hope you'll reflect on that we'll all be able to go over when this year comes to a close! This episode has us jazzed up and we hope you feel the same way! Please feel free to share this one with a friend to help them jump start their 2021 journey. Wishing you happiness and success in the new year, let's do this thing! xoxo, GWTFT
Peace out 2020, thanks for the ride!
This week we are covering all of our takeaways from this crazy crazy year. It was a difficult one for all of us given all of the things we never could have seen coming, but from surviving the unexpected we can take away some great lessons. It was also unbearably difficult for so so many people around the world, and our hearts go out to anyone who faced hardships or loss this year. We just wanted to do a year-end episode that focused on the growth we experienced from the positive moments (like starting the pod!) and the negative ones (like realizing our plans for the year weren't possible anymore).
We start the episode going over the trends that emerged over quarantine, from trash TV to tie dye, and then we jump into the deep stuff. Learning to go with the flow, setting boundaries for ourselves, slowing down and just overall feeling like we're different people than we were this time last year are some of the topics you can expect.
Wishing everyone a safe and happy New Year, we can't wait to see what 2021 has in store! Connect with us over on our Instagram and tell us what your biggest growth moments were in 2020, and head over to Apple Podcasts to subscribe/rate/review if you enjoyed this episode. Thank you so much for listening and we'll see you next year!😉🥂
Happy Wednesday!!!
This week we are discussing a topic that came up naturally for the both of us: slowing down. It can be so easy to get caught up in everything going on in life (the positive and the negative!) and forget to take it slow. Finding time to rest (not just watch a Netflix show, but like realllly rest) can be difficult, but we promise that it’s worth it.
We share what has been working well for us lately and some tips you can try yourself! Plus we get a little crazy this time and have some laughing fits😂
We hope you love this episode, please feel free to share with a friend you think could benefit from it! Head over to our Instagram and let us know how you’ve been taking it slow lately. See ya next time!
ATTENTION ALL SWIFTIES
We have a bonus episode just for you!! We're sharing our thoughts on Taylor Swift's brand new album Evermore!
If you’ve listened already, we’d love to hear which songs you have the same opinions on and which ones you're feeling differently about. If you haven’t listened yet, we give some insights as to which ones to listen to first.. and maybe a few you could skip altogether (sorry Tay).
If Taylor Swift just isn’t your vibe, no worries - we have another regularly scheduled episode coming to ya Wednesday! Maybe you shouldn't write her off just yet though... Dianna has never been a Taylor fan and is really liking this album, you should give it a whirl!
Let us know how you’re feeling about the album over on our Instagram! See you Wednesday!
🎵TIS THE SEASON TO SHOP SMALL BUSINESS, FALALALALA LALA LA LA🎵
Guys- we are so very excited about this episode! Not only do we have a FANTASTIC guest on, but we are also sharing a very special giveaway FULL of amazing items from some kick-ass small businesses!
Shopping small is more important now than ever before. Choosing to purchase holiday gifts from a small business instead of the big guys (we're looking at you Amazon) is so so worth it. Many businesses have fallen into extremely difficult times due to COVID, so one purchase can go a really long way. PLUS you know that whatever you're purchasing is made with love and care.. so you really can't go wrong here people!
Our interview with Alexia was so inspiring and wonderful and we are so grateful to her for taking the time to chat with us. We don't want to spoil any of the goodness so you'll have to listen for yourself!
Head over to our Instagram to get all the details on the Giveaway (you DO NOT want to miss this), and go check out Alexia's stunning macrame! As always, it would mean the world to us if you could share this episode with a friend and/or give us a review on Apple Podcasts! Thanks for listening, see you next time!

Pour yourself a Quarantini and get comfy, this week we are reflecting on all things quarantine! We answer questions like, "What habits have you started or broken during quarantine?" and talk about books and shows we loved while we were at home!
At this point we know that people are all at different stages, some are still working from home and for some things have gone somewhat back to normal. Whatever stage you might be at, we think it could be super beneficial to think through (or journal about) these questions and maybe chat with a roommate or partner about them. This has all been a lot to handle for virtually everyone, and it's important to check in with yourself and your loved ones now and then!
We hope you enjoy this week's episode, and if you do please consider giving us a rating and/or writing us a review on Apple Podcasts. Follow us on our Instagram @girlswiththefruittats if you haven't already, and share this episode with a friend who you think would enjoy it! Have an awesome week, see you next time!

From finding out she was pregnant, telling the parents, having the baby and raising a toddler; we've got the full story. Even though this topic feels like something we can't really relate to just yet (no babies for us anytime soon), it was incredibly interesting to hear Anna share her experience!
A big thank you to Anna for being so open and willing to share, and thank you all for tuning in! We love bringing on guests every once in a while to tell stories from a new perspective and gain insight on what else the world has to offer. Stay tuned for more! Xoxo

Hey there, happy Wednesday! Welcome back to another episode of The Girls With The Fruit Tats! This week we are rolling into a topic that relates to last week's episode "Thriving Not Surviving," so if you haven't given that one a listen yet maybe do that first!
Today we're tackling a big, scary word: overwhelm.
Why do we get overwhelmed? How can we fight that feeling? How can we be more present and prioritize our time better? In this discussion we realized that acknowledging how you're feeling and asking yourself "What can I control right now?" can be incredibly helpful first steps.
I don't want to give too much away... I'll just let you hear the rest for yourself! We hope you can take some of these tips and apply them into your own life!
As always, thank you so so much for tuning in each week, we are extremely grateful to have you here! If you liked this episode, please head over to Apple Podcasts and leave us a rating/review. If you aren't already, follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/GIRLSWITHTHEFRUITTATS/! See ya next week!
"Be where you are, otherwise you will miss your life." -Buddha
Sometimes we can get really caught up in how hard we're working or how tough and weird life is in our early twenties- but what is all the hard work for? This week we dive into what we want for ourselves in the future; moving to new places, finding balance in our lives, and loving what we do for a living. Balance is really the key word for this episode, because while it's important to plan for the future and have long-term goals, it's equally as important to find the positives in the present moment. We hope this week's episode makes you think about your plans for the future and all the things you have to be grateful for in the now. A lot of us are surviving and not thriving in this chapter of our lives, and we want to turn things around ASAP! Have a great week, and happy Wednesday!
Follow us on Instagram @girlswiththefruittats and comment on our New Episode post what you're grateful for right now, we'd love to hear! If you liked this episode please leave us a rating and review on Apple Podcasts, we'd really appreciate it!

Welcome back!! This week we are covering a light-hearted yet somewhat controversial topic - zodiac signs and astrology. Some people need their daily horoscope like they need their morning coffee, while others think the whole thing is totally woo-woo. Regardless of where you stand, we aim to provide you with an entertaining mix of the history of astrology, our birth charts, and our opinions on the whole thing!
