As I mentioned in the last episode, I want to begin looking at the Heidelberg Catechism on this podcast and apply it not only to overcoming sins of addiction/alcoholism, but also to help us gain a greater understanding of the foundations of Christian doctrine. The catechism is easy to follow and is presented in an outlined form.
Today, I want to look at question 1 which provides a hint to the reason why people suffer in this life, become trapped in sin, and spend lifetimes searching for something that is only found in one place and in one person.

The Search for ComfortI was contacted by two more people over the last week looking for a way for churches to reach those trapped in the sins of addiction/alcoholism.
All we need to reach anyone trapped in any sin is provided in God’s word in scripture – the message of the gospel by the power of the Holy Spirit.
For so long, Churches have accepted the false concept of addiction/alcoholism being diseases that must be treated from a mostly clinical approach, that they simply are unable to believe that we can reach any sinner in any sin through the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ, through God’s word in scripture, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
People are drawn into habitual sin through a search for comfort that this world cannot provide. So, how do we find this true comfort?

The Unseen Reality - Psalm 2
"Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against his Anointed, saying, 'Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.'" - Psalm 1:1-3
Looking to things that are unseen will help clarify and make sense of things that are seen. To understand the unseen we must look to the Bible as it reveals the unseen spiritual realm.
Because the spiritual realm is unseen, there has always been much speculation, theory, fantasy, and contradictory opinions about what that realm is like and what creatures may or may not exist within it.
Why are the strange unseen spiritual events and strange creatures recorded throughout the scriptures mostly ignored?

Delightful Meditation - Psalm 1
I believe that if all we had were the Psalms, if we for some reason could not get the other books of the Bible, but had the Psalms, the message of the gospel would shine through them as brightly as it does throughout all of God’s word. One of the amazing things about the scriptures is that the gospel comes through in so many ways. And in the Psalms, the gospel shines through often in the most poetic and beautiful ways. Never discount the blessed gift of the Psalms.

Delighting in Truth
September 11 is a dark day in American history, a day we all remember very clearly as the generation before remember the day President Kennedy was assassinated; two terrible events, both surrounded by unanswered questions and questionable explanations. Both events - especially 9/11, were wake-up calls to the American people. As official narratives were exposed as contradictory, as evidence came to light refuting what we the people were told was the truth of the matter, even the most gullible came to realize that something is very wrong. We came to see that truth is hidden, motives are concealed, and what we were led to believe was the truth is mostly fabricated lies. The Covid hoax took deception to a whole new level.
But, the darkness of lies has its benefit - it makes the light of truth more precious, and more of a delight. It is clear that we will not find much truth in this world - it has always been this way. But if we have the proper source of vision, we can see all things through the lens of truth. That proper source of vision is the word of God. If we see everything through the lens of the word of the One who created everything, we will stand a much better chance of making sense of and understanding it all. As the world is depressed by lies and deceptions, those with eyes to see and ears to hear will delight in the truth. We will be free as the world is led further into bondage.

The Providence of God
The conveyance of the mysterious and almost bizarre vision that Ezekiel shares as a representation of God's providence are a great blessing in helping us to better grasp God's glorious providence.
Now as I looked at the living beings, behold, there was one wheel on the earth beside the living beings, for each of the four of them. The appearance of the wheels and their workmanship was like sparkling beryl, and all four of them had the same form, their appearance and workmanship being as if one wheel were within another. Whenever they moved, they moved in any of their four directions without turning as they moved. As for their rims they were lofty and awesome, and the rims of all four of them were full of eyes round about. Whenever the living beings moved, the wheels moved with them. And whenever the living beings rose from the earth, the wheels rose also. - Ezekiel 1:15-19
Probably one of the strangest visions in scripture. The similarity to descriptions of UFOs is interesting.
The wheels signify divine providence. The Greeks and Romans used the wheel to represent the wondrous works of God.

Let’s preface with Spurgeon’s comment on Philippians 4:6-7 from the CSB Spurgeon Study Bible: Philippians 4:6-7, "Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."
Spurgeon comments, “Oh, that God might teach us how to avoid the evil that is here forbidden, and to live with that holy carelessness which is the very beauty of the Christian life - when all our care is cast on God, and we can joy and rejoice in his providential care of us.”

Lift Up Your Eyes!
“If you look at the world, you’ll be distressed. If you look within, you’ll be depressed. If you look at God you’ll be at rest.” ~ Corrie Ten Boom
In these times it’s easy to be downcast, for our minds to be consumed with events happening in the world around us.
"Do you not say, 'There are yet four months, and [then] comes the harvest'? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest." - John 4:35
We have here the antidote to being distressed by the world and depressed by sin and hopelessness. What the eyes of the world see as distressing, depressing, and hopeless, the eyes of a believer see as an opportunity for the message of the gospel, to be the light of Christ in the darkness.

Genuine Christian Prosperity
The topic of prosperity, because of its being abused and manipulated by so much of the modern Church, is a topic that is sadly neglected from a genuine biblical perspective. However, just because something biblical has been hi-jacked, does not mean we should abandon it. Rather, it seems important to address it and provide biblical clarity in areas where worldly error has clouded the water.
When Jesus refers to Himself as “the truth” in John 14:6, I believe that applies on so many levels. And in the context of today’s message, I believe that if we are truly abiding in Christ, in His word, in His truth, then whatever we do will be based on that truth and will glorify Him. If we prosper, our prosperity will be true and genuine because it will be grounded in truth, and will truly be a joyful blessing without the tainting of the world and human nature.
Everyone wants to prosper, but not everyone understands that true prosperity is not measured with dollar signs and decimal points, or the facade of an image. True Prosperity stands in non-conformity to the world’s fleeting, shallow, mindless materialism.
Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. - Psalm 1:1-3

The Narrow Way - Matthew 7:13,14
This is a portion of the Sermon On the Mount - one of my favorite portions of scripture. It sounds far-fetched, but if you consider all that Jesus teaches and commands in the Sermon On the Mount, and imagine it being carried out through all of humanity, you may begin to see the problems of the world could be solved through what Jesus teaches in this one amazing and profound sermon.
Discernment in the way we live and interact with others narrows our focus, our choices, and our actions. The longer we walk with Christ, the narrower the path becomes. The longer we walk with Christ, the fewer will walk along with us.
Matthew 7:13,14, "Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few."

Battling Depression Part 5 - Psalm 51
Socrates said that the unexamined life is not worth living. I would agree with him. Christianity is largely life examined, a life lived mindfully, a life lived purposefully, a life lived with meaning, a life of contemplation and meditation. The dark side knows this and does a very good job of filling the world with distractions, temptations, hectic busyness, amusements, and technology in an effort to keep us from being still and communing with the Lord.
In the modern age especially, we must reject the distractions and trappings of the world, become contradictions to it, and shine with the light of Christ. Philippians 4:8-9 says, "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me--practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you."
We must slow down, be still, and consider the things of God.
By looking in we live out our lives, but we must have some guide and direction, some measure of truth to follow, and that is only found in Christ and his word. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."
As the world stumbles along in the dark, what a blessing it is for believers to have our path laid out and lit before us, to know why we walk and where our path is leading.
As we consider the topic of battling depression and what we can learn from Psalm 51 in relation to it, consider that even if we are not suffering under the lash of conviction, have not committed a terrible sin; contemplating the blessing of repentance through God’s grace and mercy, his forgiveness, and love, is a wonderful way to soothe our souls and lift our spirits.

Battling Depression Part 4 - The Core Issue
If we do not address the core cause and reason of depression we may end up in the worldly habit of moving continually from one self-help method to another, making ourselves feel better for a while, but not growing and maturing and overcoming because we have not dealt with the root of the problem.
Sin is the core issue of human pain and suffering and therefore the core issue of depression. Even if an unfortunate person is clinically depressed because of a biological or chemical problem, their depression is still one of the results of the sinful state of the human race.
Rather than trying to correct situations, circumstances, and consequences, we should be examining, exposing, confessing, and repenting of the sin which is the root cause of man’s problems, pains, and suffering.
Knowing that we as believers are blessed to be covered in the perfect righteousness of Christ should give us courage and humility to shine his light into the hidden corners of our being so that what is contrary to Him may be exposed, confessed, repented of, forgiven and washed away through his blood.

Battling Depression Part 3 - The Lord is at Hand
In light of current world events and issues, it seems good to insert the topic of anxiety into this series on Battling Depression.
Remember last fall when the government and mainstream news were claiming we were heading into a “Dark Winter” when people (mostly the unvaccinated) would be dying of Covid 19 and all sorts of terrible things would be happening? Well, here we are, moving into spring, and aside from high gas prices and being told that food shortages are coming, we are still living our lives, and the winter was not as we were told to fear it would be.
Remember just a few months ago when whoever tried to expose how Covid 19 death counts were being exaggerated and the vaccines were causing harm and death was considered a conspiracy theorist and canceled from mainstream and social media? Now, the CDC is admitting the things that were considered unacceptable to speak of just a short time ago, and studies are confirming the dangers of the vaccines and the efficacy of safe methods of treatment that were previously stifled.
The point is - we live in a manufactured reality of lies and corruption. And because the vast majority of what we are told are lies intended to control us through fear, most of what people fear - never ends up happening. The key is to ignore the lies and abide in the truth. And, there is only one perfect eternal truth (John 14:6).

In this message, we take a look at 2 Samuel 11 which recounts David's sins of adultery and murder, and Psalm 51 which portrays his conviction and repentance. Since sin is the core cause of all human sin and suffering, there is much to learn from Psalm 51 in overcoming depression.

Battling Depression
It seems that in all times - good or bad, depression has been a common problem for both believers and unbelievers - my favorite preacher, Charles Spurgeon suffered from bouts of depression throughout his life. Spurgeon grew and matured through his times of darkness. Believers can either give in to depression, mask it with prescription drugs, or we can strive to overcome it, learn from it, grow and mature from the experience of it.
following on the heels of the Covid hoax, we are faced with daily news and images of war, destruction, suffering, and death coming out of Ukraine. The possibility of World War 3 and a crumbling fiat currency economy as the federal government relentlessly hacks away at the God-given rights of people and the founding principles of America. There is indeed much to be depressed about if we allow ourselves to be affected and influenced by what is happening.

The Power of Fear
After two years of manufactured fear of a mostly benign virus through deception and propaganda, the world in the last two weeks has been thrown back into the darkest days of the cold war as world war and the nuclear threat are once again major topics of concern.
The news, videos, and images coming out of Ukraine are like replays of World War Two. And, with the very real possibility of escalation and the involvement of other countries in the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, as Communist China is most likely considering the opportunity to make a move on Taiwan, America is floundering amidst governmental corruption as enemies to our principles and values occupy our highest offices, and we are left without any genuine leadership during what may turn out to be one of the most precarious times in American and world history. There is much to fear.

Hypocrisy and the Gospel - Galatians 2:11-16

The hypocrisy of Peter and Paul’s “In your face” response is a portion of scripture that comes across as a bit shocking to the Christian spirit accustomed to meditating on love, forgiveness, and unity in the faith. Why was Peter being hypocritical and why did Paul oppose him in such a blatant and seemingly public manner?
There is a big lesson in this for all believers: will you stay the course when the heat is on and the world is pressuring you to move off of the narrow way?
The dark side seems to identify a believer's weak spots and then exploit them at every opportunity.

The Inescapable Sovereignty of God
To struggle to completely understand the sovereignty of God makes sense because we are seeking to understand the mind of the perfect and holy eternal creator with the mind of a fallen, sinful and finite creature. We will not fully understand God’s sovereignty on this side of heaven, and any understanding that we are blessed with is through the supernatural revealing of the Holy Spirit.
Man’s free will does not exist outside of God’s will. God’s sovereignty encompasses all of universal creation. No human has ever made a decision that has been outside of the sovereignty of God.
Nothing happens without the ordination of God, because then events would happen at random, and it is very clear all through scripture that God works according to His plan and design. No human in all of time has ever been outside of the stream of God’s eternal plan. Every breath, every heartbeat, every subatomic vibration at the minutest quantum level throughout all eternity has happened within and according to the will, control, design, and plan of God.

Back to the Gospel in 2022
If we strive to let all that we hope to accomplish in the new year spring from the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ abiding in us, how can we fail?
The most important thing during our time on earth is our response to the person and work of Jesus Christ. Our time in the visible realm is but a breath, but our spiritual existence is eternal. And, our eternity can be glorious in Christ’s presence - but only if the penalty for our sins in this life are washed away and we are reconciled to God, and that is something we have no ability on our own to do.
Prayerfully consider each of the following points, meditate on them, and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit. John 16:13 says, “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.”

Called by God - Galatians 1:10-24
Following on the twice repeated “accursed” of verses 8&9 Paul conveys the reason for the corrupting of the gospel - seeking to please man rather than serve God.
Even though Paul was in rebellion against God, violently persecuting the Church, he was still of the elect and God turned the evil that Paul was engaged in to good for the cause of the gospel.
Paul’s past was horrific to consider. He was an outright enemy of the Lord, persecuting and sending believers to their deaths. But Christ transformed him mightily, made him a new creation, and set him on the path of service in the cause of the gospel. I am sure Satan used Paul’s past against him, throwing it up before him to instill feelings of guilt and remorse. Satan is an accuser, and Paul’s past gave him much to use against him.

No Different Gospel - Galatians 1:1-9
It seems very fitting to begin preaching through a book that was so important to Martin Luther and the reformation on October 31st - Reformation day!
Martin Luther referred to Galatians as “my epistle.” Galatians was very influential in the shaping of the reformation.
In Galatians, Paul pulls no punches in confronting the Church and calling out the false teachers, and exposing their false teachings. In this epistle, Paul proclaims powerfully the doctrine of justification by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
The book of Galatians provides us a picture of Paul’s passionate zeal for the gospel and his intolerance for any corruptions of its message.

Freedom from Anxiety in a Time of Fear
How can someone not be anxious amidst so much insanity and chaos in a world that is spinning out of control? Evil, hatred, lies, and division have increased drastically over the last year and a half. Anxiety and fear are reflected in the eyes of millions of masked faces as the Covid hoax drags on. The threat of war with China grows, the world’s supply chain is clogged, and the coming “Dark Winter” here in America is the latest topic of fear pouring from mainstream propaganda channels.
Why is it becoming increasingly clear that anything to do with the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Christian faith will not be tolerated in much of modern society? How did the world end up in such a terrible condition in increasing defiance of God?
For years God has been denied by some and ignored by others as humanity has gradually moved away from God and toward secular humanism. Now, we are in a time of transitioning from denial of God to defiance of God. It is not enough to deny the existence of God. Instead, God must be defied and reviled as man sets himself up as god.

Shepherds, Thieves, Hirelings, and Wolves
Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. - John 10:1-3
Notice that the good shepherd leads the sheep out. He does not drive them. He does not entice or seduce or beg them. He calls and they follow.
The young in Christ need to be protected and nurtured to maturity. They must develop discernment by prayer, study of the Word, fellowship, abiding in the Lord.
If things continue as they have for the last year and a half, we will see much of the visible Church fall away and conform more and more to the world.
In these times, the shepherds must be aware of and strive to understand how the forces of evil are raising their game to a new level. Their attacks against humanity and the Christian faith are quickly moving from covert to overt. Their lies and the destruction they are causing are so easy to see with just a little effort, and yet so many Christians are being led astray without questioning anything, and the pastors are as well.

Jesus in this Psalm is likened to rain - the “Life” of John 14:6 which says, “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” Jesus truly is the only way, He is perfect truth, and He is the giver and sustainer of life. John 1:4 says, “In him was life, and the life was the light of men.”

Everything Christ did, every word He spoke was filled with eternal meaning and purpose.

The location of Caesarea Philippi and Christ’s reference to the gates of hell provides fascinating context for understanding the “rock” Christ is referring to.

So often we think we need to work through the storm, to get to the shore where we think Jesus is. But Jesus delivers us from the midst of the wind and stormy turmoil.
The Lord does not help those who help themselves - He helps those who know they cannot help themselves, who have no strength left, and humbly look to Him.
The disciples had to endure a tremendous and frightening struggle which the Lord allowed them to experience. The Lord may allow us to experience such dangers so that we see Him more clearly in our deliverance.
The lesson was in the storm and struggle.
But he said to them, "It is I; do not be afraid." - John 6:20

It is becoming very clear that thinking – especially critical thinking is quickly disappearing as more and more become obsessively addicted to the mindless false reality of mainstream media and social media.
Regarding the effects of mainstream media, ask yourself - are you thinking and living or reacting and surviving? Are you making wise decisions boldly, confidently, and courageously or are you submitting and reacting in fear?

Christians, those born again and made new creations in Jesus Christ have the way, the truth, and the life. Those who have been reconciled to God by and through Jesus Christ have blessings and joys beyond explanation. Those in Jesus Christ rejoice in the blessedness of forgiveness!

But what a blessing it is to consider the preeminence of Christ contrasted with the personal intimacy and care He gives to each believer.

John 8:44 ESV - You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
As a Christian, I must be in this world but not of it.
Romans 12:2 ESV - Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
What was predicted of the future in the past seemed to not include the influence of human nature.

Jesus in this Psalm is likened to rain. The “Life” of John 14:6, by God's grace and the working of the Holy Spirit.

Put on all you like of Christianity, appear in every way Christian. However, if you are not born again from above - then heaven is closed to you.
A person may do wonderful and caring works, spend their lives in altruistic pursuits. If they are not born again of the spirit - then heaven is closed to them.
A reprobate in the clutches of habitual sin may strive valiantly and reform themselves. They may turn away from their destructive vices and lead a commendable life as a fine member of society. If they are not born again of the spirit - then heaven is closed to them.

What appears so wonderful and fine to worldly eyes will soon fade and wither as the light of Christ is revealed.
While those of the world seek for security that is fleeting and temporary, we in Christ dwell in peace, resting in eternal faithfulness and security.

Why do we need to get back to the Gospel?
In the US the common consensus among many biblical Christian leaders is that 90% of the visible Church is void of the gospel, unsaved, and of the world. The vast majority of those claiming to be Christian are not saved because they are in false teachings, follow a Jesus that never existed, and believe a false gospel that contradicts the gospel of salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
Satan is leading multitudes astray by subtle, incremental lies. Lies that are mixed in with just enough truth to appear real to those without the discernment to spot a counterfeit.
And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. 12 And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. - Matthew 24:10-14

I, John, your brother and fellow partaker in the tribulation and kingdom and perseverance [which are] in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. - Revelation 1:9
Why does John refer to himself as “your brother and fellow partaker in the tribulation and kingdom and perseverance [which are] in Jesus”?
How might this statement fit with the popular theory of the pre-tribulation rapture of the Church?
If Christians were to be spared from tribulation why does John identify as our fellow partaker in tribulation?
Since Revelation inspires us to look forward to Christ’s return, to be prepared, awake, and ready, it seems proper to have a correct understanding of Christ’s return and our meeting Him in the air or resurrection right from the start.

Their ignorant assumptions may have been their doom. Jesus is not who we think He should be, the gospel is not according to our opinions and expectations. The truth of who Jesus is, the truth of His gospel, is from His Word.
Often the humble disciple, meditating on the Word, in prayer, gaining experience, and living in obedience to God attains far greater wisdom and knowledge of God’s Word than the highly educated.
Those who address error with the truth of the Word are often accused of causing division, but unity exists in one spirit of truth. Error is the cause of division.

Discernment in the way we live and interact with others narrows our focus, our choices, and our actions. The longer we walk with Christ, the narrower the path becomes.

Avoid such people. - 2 Timothy 3:1-5
And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory - Luke 21:25-27
So much of the contemporary Church flatters, amuses, and entertains goats - when they should be feeding the sheep of Christ’s flock!
Wake up and stay awake!
Watch for the Lord and think of His return. Be mindful of the condition of your heart and mind, that He will find you in a state that pleases Him.

The world is in turmoil. There is so much anger, fear, hatred, immorality everywhere it seems. Everything seems corrupted. Satan is the father of lies and the world serves him in his lies. Those in Christ do not have to be affected and influenced by the world.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer. - Psalm 19:14
There is also so much more in this verse besides the obvious. So many of life's struggles, depressions, addictions, fears, and anxieties can be overcome when our words, born from the meditations and thoughts of a heart filled with and abiding in the love of Jesus Christ are pleasing and acceptable to Him.

So much of what we have in Jesus Christ is missed through lack of faith. So much of the spirit passing from the loving hand of God, through the blessed and worthy hand of Christ is stifled by fear, anxiety, and our compromising and capitulation to the things of this world. God’s grace and love and blessings and glory are poured out to us through Jesus Christ.
The gospel of Jesus Christ is not opinion, theory, or philosophy - it is the only infallible and pure truth, the revelation of the eternal mind of God.

The Way Radio Episode 0008 Kenya Trip - From Fearful Trial to Amazing Blessings My son Wyatt and I just returned from three weeks working to establish The Way Ministry Church Kenya.
Before we left on this trip I was confronted through an email with the possibility I had made a severe error in judgment and that I may be taking my son and I into a situation of grave danger.
This was the most fearful trial I have endured. It brought me to the end of my strength in faith, and I was mentally and emotionally spent.
But God works in mysterious ways and He had a plan...

For lukewarm Christians, worldliness is often veiled even from themselves, because for so many years the Church has been striving to sell a compromise between the gospel and the world. The Purpose Driven and Seeker Sensitive movements are built on this error.
God will give us our portion each day. If we use it in thankfulness we glorify God. If we store it up as a worldly possession it spoils and becomes a snare and a curse.

Breaking Through Recovery - A Testimony Drinking started out as a cool thing to do. Cocaine use started out as a cool thing – it was seen as such in the 1980s. It ended up as a horrible nightmare, desperate and hopeless.
I dove into Alcoholics Anonymous, completely believing that “Those who do not recover are people who cannot or will not completely give themselves to this simple program, usually men and women who are constitutionally incapable of being honest with themselves” (Alcoholics Anonymous, Chap 5, Pg 58).
As I studied the Word I began to see how severely misled I had been through Alcoholics Anonymous and all of the other false teachings I had been drawn into. I came to see that AA is in direct contradiction to the gospel of salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. “From Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way.” – Psalm 119:104
