Today I speak with Milly and her daughter Veronica, who are the owners of Always Smooth Waxing, a waxing hair removal service located in Taylorsville, UT. Milly has been operating her business for 26 years, starting in 1994 in Venezuela and then moving to the United States in 2002.
Her daughter, Veronica, helps manage the marketing side of the business with Instagram, Facebook, bridal showers and has donated to the Chicana/o Scholarship Fund for the University of Utah.
They're known for using a natural, botanic product. It is antibacterial and antimicrobial and it is technically not a wax; it is a soy-based hair remover. Studies show it is 75% less painful than traditional wax! Wax can remove the top layer of skin, leaving it to be very red and feel really sensitive; Their product, however does not! It is self-regulated at a constant heat temp of 98.6 degrees. You won’t experience the pain and redness associated with waxing.
