Hi everyone! Welcome to my podcast channel, The Secret Place. I am so excited you are here. On this channel, I will be sharing lessons on the Bible, tips for digging deeper, and encouragement as we run this race of faith together!

The Apostle John writes that those who obey God’s Word truly show how completely they love Him (Jesus).
Divided and unstable. These are two words that could easily describe our world, our country, our church, and our homes. But did you know that within your own self, there could be division and instability? And those to things can cause major chaos in our lives.
Loving our neighbor is not always easy. But the Bible says I need to love my neighbor as myself. So, who is my neighbor?

We can get so focused on one thing in our life that isn’t perfect and forget about the hundreds of things in our life that are wonderful.
We understand love in the brokenness of human nature. It we hurt, offend, or push someone away, their love for us may diminish or end. But the love of Christ isn’t like that.
If you have been a Christian any amount of time, you know what it feels like to need God to answer a prayer right now, but it seems like He is dragging His feet. How do we have faith in the waiting?
We are never going to feel like we are fully prepared to accomplish the dream God puts in front of us. And that is part of God’s plan, because we are to rely on Him, not on our own abilities.
