I went to buy some cushions from the shop the other day and I was browsing when I saw a mouse peep it's head through the cushions, I immediately started screaming and ran out the shop.

The next day I was surprised to find that I had a longing to see this mouse again. What had happened to me in the night I thought to myself. I went back to the cushion shop to where the mouse was and there it was. I asked the shop keeper if I could buy the mouse and he said yes but the price was high. £1000. I asked the shopkeeper if he had ever done fencing before and he said yes so I challenged him to a duel for the mouse. If I won I got the mouse and if he won he can have my £1000.

I was smiling in the back of my mind as I'm an excellent fencer and was tipped to be a future star of the sport until an injury took hold of me in my teens which stopped my training. We arranged the duel in the streets and we handed out flyers. The local mayor got involved and there were big bets at stake.

We duelled in the street while the public watched. Needless to say that I won. The mouse lived with me for a while but decided to move on in the end. I still think about the mouse sometimes.
