We make mistakes...
...here's my mistake or should I call it many of the takes when I try to record the episodes for this podcast.
Because this is random, I'm sure it'll not make sense for many.
Plus, it's very close to episode #2.
I came across a quote that said, "All your business problems are essentially one: You are doing things out of sequence."
When you do anything out of sequence it means that you'll most likely jump ship AKA quit if things don't look good the first few weeks or months. You'll find reasons to throw in the towel. When others decide to go for their dreams you'll look the other way. Look down upon yourself and feel like you can't be good at anything.
But, in this episode, I remind you to work toward the things that make you YOU. The things that bring out the genius in you. The things that will make you feel good about yourself. It doesn't matter if you're doing the thing, it matters that you enjoy the process and the feeling the rewards give you even if the regard is rejection, you roll with it knowing that good things are ahead of you!

Many people believe that they have to do something extraordinary to have their businesses flowing...
...while that might have some truth in it, the ONE thing that might really move the needle is YOU.
So, when a friend asks you to rate your business based on your passion on a scale of 0-10, you should always answer with a 12. You need to give that give and then go back to the draw board and make smart plans that you can execute with ease. Pour your soul into your business and it'll get more fun and interesting than any other job you could ever be doing.

... I'm Maryanne James Mbuya AKA Maria.
And this is my story...
I started working online when I heard a rumor that the company I was working for was going to go out of business or downsize. I was afraid that if I didn't take matters into my hands and did something on the side, the rumor would come to pass and I'd be left with no job.
I couldn't stand the idea of not having a job.
So, I went to the internet to look for ways to earn money. I came across transcription, but I couldn't pass any test to join any of the transcription companies I came across on the internet.
I figured fast that that wasn't for me. So I found my way into blog writing.
I made some money which I then invested in Neil Patel's advance marketing program. I was happy to join the group, but when I got in and found out that I was the only student in Africa, I felt intimidated. I was eager to learn but I never brought myself to ask any question - it just felt like I was in the wrong place and everyone seemed so knowledgeable that I felt like I wasn't good enough.
I tried joining other Facebook groups to see if my fear came from the fact I was in Africa or something else.
Long story short, I trusted that I had something in me that could benefit the world.
But I didn't know how to bring it out to the world, until when one of my online friends told me I was way smart than I thought. He said that I needed to believe in myself more and trust that I knew what I was doing, always. Periodt!
I took his words of wisdom and went out to find people I could help. Since our talk almost a year ago, I have helped people have better relationships with their spouses, believe in themselves more, find people to hire them on the internet, and also break their personal sales records.
Which is why I decided to start podcast to help many more people make their lives better, run business better, and be better people.
