JESUS AND THE KOG? KOG living Now! 3/8/20, Jn
12:4-8, Mt 25-14-30 INTRO: Did Jesus say or preach
anything about socialism or capitalism during His
ministry? In recent years there has been divide in the
church about what type of government we should
support. In our country it is Socialism vs Capitalism.
Jesus mission was to declare the KOG: Mk 1:14-15
Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of
God, and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the
kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the
gospel." All His ministry centered on exposing
mankind to the KOG, how it works, what is does and
the benefits derived from it. So, is the KOG operative
on the structure of socialism or capitalism? Def of
capitalism: economic and political system in which a
country's trade and industry are controlled by private
owners for profit, rather than by the state. Socialism:
a political and economic theory of social organization
which advocates that the means of production,
distribution, and exchange should be owned or
regulated by the community as a whole. Webster’s
def: socialism advocates the ownership and control
of the means of production, capital, land, property,
etc., by the community [government] as a whole, and
their administration or distribution in the interests of
all people.” [ownership is] by society or the
community rather than by private individuals.”
Summation: Capitalism is a market-driven economy.
The state does not intervene in the economy, leaving
it up to market forces to shape society and life.
Socialism is characterized by state ownership of
businesses and services. Central planning is used to
attempt to make society more equitable
SERVANTS OR SONS? Kingdom Living Now! Pt 5,
3/1/20, Gal 3:29, 4:1-7, INTRO: So few in the ch
know why they are here, their purpose for existence.
I’m here to challenge the concepts you have been
taught at other places. Too many settle for
servanthood rather than sonship in the KOG. Man is
the crowning act of our intentional Creator. We exist
as God’s co-regents in a world created for us. We
are God’s crowning moment! In this text: We are
identified as heirs, sons, adopted, royalty.
INTRO: Only a few know

MYSTERIES OF THE KINGDOM pt 1 ‘Kingdom
Living’ 1/26/20 Lk 8:1-15, INTRO: Have you ever had
someone try to explain something and you just didn’t
get it? Then three days later you have an “Ah-ha”
moment. Until Jesus came Israel had never had an
“ah-ha” moment about the Kingdom of God. Jesus
spoke often about the KOG, He exampled,
demonstrated and preached about it. His ministry
was to shed light on the purpose, the operation and
function of the KOG. To understand the Kingdom we
must search, pursue, track down, chase, seek, hunt,
examine, explore, look for and reach out for the KOG
to discover its mysteries. The mysteries aren’t hidden
for the purpose of keeping the Kingdom away from
us; but to discovery the KOG we must strive to
understand it and obtain it.

CHASE THE FIRE! Fire Chasers pt 2, 1/12/20,
INTRO: 1 Kings 18:20-39, Act 4:23-31, INTRO:
Daniel fast: Have you ever been dissatisfied with
your Christian walk? Hungry for more of Jesus,
looking for an improvement in your life? Are you
desperate enough to stretch yourself, to move off of
plumb? Maybe you are just fed up with you or your
situation. To have fire I must feed the little fire I
already have.
PROP: Prayer and the right timing, causes the fire of
God to fall on us! The God who answers by fire
CONTROLLED BURNS! Pt 3, Fire Chasers, 1/29/20,
Ezek 21:1-4 INTRO: Control burns purpose is to stop
wildfires from progressing. It’s time to take the brakes
off. In this text Jer/Israel is a type of the body of
Christ. We can’t change other churches or others
people but we can change. It will take fire; Holy fire to
change each of us.
PROP: God will not accept us on our terms. We want
fire; we must come with no strings attached.

never start that way. Those who reach the pinnacle
of life start out with many setbacks, failures, misfires
and missteps. Christianity is no different. Paul sums
up his instruction to this fledgling ch. to never quit,
don’t stop, keep persisting, keep persevering and
keep pressing.

THE PROCESS AND THE PRESENT! Pt 13, back to
school, 12/22/19, I Co 15: 20-49 INTRO: Christmas
is the gift giving season. After opening all the gifts,
you discovered that Santa sort hid a card on the tree
and that the big gift was really in another room or
outside? How exciting! Likewise our gift from heaven
came as baby but He was born to die. The big gift
wasn’t His babyhood but the present He left for us.
PROP: A biblical glimpse at the process and the
present awaiting in our future.
THE PURPOSE AND POWER OF PROPHECY
12/1/19, PT 10, Back to school, 1 Co 14:1-5 INTRO:
Paul explains the use of spiritual gifts to very young,
yet active new ch with no real ch experience. It
seems the ch was in a learning curve on how to
operate in the gifts of the Spirit. Paul is teaching that;
all the gifts of the spirit should be wrapped up in love.
RESURRECTION SETTLES IT! 12/15/19, Back to
school pt 12 1 Co 15:1-19 INTRO: The facts and
power of the R. What would life be like if our children
never grew up? Imagine changing diapers the rest of
your life or being asked a 1000 questions a day?
Paul wanted this baby church to grow up, mature and
become healthy. However they had a slow start.
Corinth: 200,000 pop, commercial center, deep
demonic entrenchment, Poseidon-Neptune Latin,
spirit of the sea, two ports, Aphrodite (Venus), 1000
female slaves, temple prostitutes, no charge to men,
if served Aphrodite. Immorality was a virtue. All
female dominated society. The ch was a young,
immature. They had no church heritage, experience,
they had come straight out of the world. They were
growing, developing, maturing in spiritual matters.
They were babies in everything.
PROP: The R of Jesus is the power of the Gospel
TONGUES FOR TODAY! 12/8/19, Pt11, back to school1 Co 14:10-33 INTRO: Last wk: purpose and power of prophecy. Paul explains the use of spiritual gifts to very young, yet active new ch with no real ch experience. It seems the ch was in a learning curve on how to operate in the gifts of the Spirit. Paul is teaching that; all the gifts of the spirit should be wrapped up in LOVE. He said that the proclamation gifts are for edification, exhortation, consolation. PROP: Never be afraid to embrace the gift of tongues.
WRAPPED IN LOVE! Back to school pt 9, 11/24/19,
1 Co 12:31-14:1, INTRO: Paul explains the use of
spiritual gifts to very young, yet active new ch with no
real ch experience. It seems the ch was in a learning
curve on how to operate in the gifts of the Spirit. In
this season of gift giving, it is appropriate to talk
about gift giving also. In my family growing up
Christmas presents were always wrapped up, half
the fun of Christmas. Unwrapped was not very
exciting. Paul is teaching that; all the gifts of the spirit
should be wrapped up in LOVE. We are to avoid
operating in the gifts for self-gratification or a self-
serving prideful manner but to humbly approach the
gifts with a willingness to help others.

THE POWER OF THE STRETCH! 11-10-19 Lk 5:12-13
Mt 12:9-13 INTRO: Bogus video on FB. Everyday
stretch before lifting/walking. When trying to get into
shape, stretching can be painful but necessary.
Finished week of Fire Chasers. It’s time for each of
us to experience the power of the stretch.

Co 12, INTRO: The Corth. Ch was a young, immature body. They had no church heritage, experience, they had come straight out of the world. They were growing, developing, maturing in spiritual matters. They were babies in everything. Clueless about what Ch should be like. So now all the egghead theologians have taught a powerless gospel. So that now in the US the Ch is programmed but powerless. Fads run thru the Ch. One of those fads is how to grow a ch. quickly by using canned/programed services that let people feel comfortable but with no conviction. Using lights, videos, multiple canned services that run on one hr. schedules; simply programs the power of the HS out of their worship experience. Bible commentators have belittled the Corinthian ch and its perceived immaturity. Downplaying the use of the power of Godand spiritual gifts as necessary for today’s ch. Sayingthat the Corth. Ch. was out of order as would any ch. like that would be today. Therefor while 85% of Ch’s worldwide, operate in the gifts and encourage everyone to pray in tongues, in the US it is reversed. So how do we grow this ch? By getting back to the power and staying away from programs. PROP: Spiritual gifts are a must for today’s ch.
We have an advantage, we can observe what should be proper behavior in Ch. How we act, what is said, how we dress ect. Paul was writing to a messy church, a ch. that needed real, practical answers to life’s difficult situations. INTRO: What is proper in Church?
LIBERTY IS A PRIVILEGE! Pt 5,
Back to school. Study of 1Co. INTRO: What do we
allow to regulate our Christianity? What is our
motivation for living out our Christian faith? Paul says
love for others should be the reason for the freedoms
we choose. Yes, scripture does provide guidelines to
live by but the motivation for abiding within these
guidelines should always be, how it will affect others?
PROP: The boundaries of freedom is love.
Polygamist society Sexual depravity was rampant.
V1-2, Sex is good! Now, getting down to the
questions you asked in your letter to me. First, Is it a
good thing to have sexual relations? 2 Certainly—but
only within a certain context. It's good for a man to
have a wife, and for a woman to have a husband.
Sexual drives are strong, but marriage is strong
enough to contain them and provide for a balanced
and fulfilling sexual life in a world of sexual disorder.

occupied trade routes.,strategic commercial city that sought international pleasures.
Corinth was the center of the sports arena all around the world. The temple of
Apollo.Corinth was a lot like the big cities we visit today. Action City. The church of
Corinth was a small home church. A possibility that the church met in Priscilla and
Aquila‘s house.The church was started as a result of the mission trips that Paul was on.
The church was founded by Paul and was probably about 5 years old at this time

on the flesh rather than depending on the Spirit.
Eat My Dust......
Anyone who is trying to serve the Lord will face
resistance. If comes in different forms but mostly thru
people, even Christians. They are like no see-ums,
gnats at the beach, almost invisible but they can
pack a powerful sting. There will always be gnats
around, critics. They are sent to you slow down,
saying it doesn’t take all that. Implying you are too
radical, too intense, too hyper for Jesus. They want
to rain on your fiery faith, cool you off, put water on
your faith. You have enemies who want to
demoralize you. Get you to stop, back off. Fight the
good fight of faith. Refuse to compromise, back
down, slow up, change course.

6/30/19, Mat 5:13-16 INTRO: Disclaimer: I may say

the culture, There is a warning in v13, ‘if salt
becomes tasteless’. Never be accused of being a
tasteless Christian. We have stayed in the shadow of
politics too long. There are many ways to get
involved, start locally; help at voting precinct, city
council, ect. Don’t be a deist. God created it, we can
only watch it run down, so no need to make a
difference.

don’t know the cause of mental issues it or have a
cure for it. They can treat the symptoms but cannot
cure. Mental illness: suicide, fear, depression-
(feelings of severe despondency and dejection from
within the mind) oppression (prolonged cruel or
unjust treatment or control, from an outside source).
Anxiety, ADHD, bipolar, Post traumatic stress
disorder (PTSD) traumatic experience, Doubt,
loneliness (demonic oppression, demonization?)
STRESS. Should we place mental illness in the
same category as every other forms of illness? What

overcomes the odds and wins. History is full of them.

DEFYING ALL ODDS! 4/21/19, 1 Pet 1:17-21 Lk 24:1-12,
INTRO: VIDEO, What are the chances of anyone fulfilling all

HEART FOR THE HOUSE! Pt1, 3/7/19, Heb 10:19-25
INTRO: Congregating Statistics: 40% of Americans “say”
they go to church weekly. -20 % are actually attending at
the rate of 1.8 times per month. More than 80 percent of
Americans are finding more fulfilling things to do on
weekends. Why is the ch sporadic in its congregating?

Do we have a heart for the house?
NO ONE PLANS ON FALLING AWAY; NO ONE EVER SAYS, “TODAY, I THINK I’LL TRY TO
DEVELOP A HARDENED, COLD HEART.” THESE ENTER THROUGH SCHEMES AND TRICKS
THE ENEMY USES AGAINST US. WE MUST NEVER BE SO NAÏVE AS TO THINK “WE WILL
NEVER WALK AWAY FROM GOD”. “If you think you stand take care lest you fall.” We know that
we live in the end time.
Matthew speaks by the Holy Spirit a warning regarding the time we live in.
Government shut down: Many well
paid government employees after missing their 1st
pay check last week are freaking out! Why? 78% of
Americans live paycheck to paycheck. 58% have less the
$1,000 in reserve and can only pay $400 in unexpected
expense. Most New Year’s resolutions have collapsed.
They started out with good intentions but already have
failed to execute. The Bible makes it clear that God
wants His children to prosper. Not everyone will
experience this promise. To receive the benefit of God’s
promise of plenty you have to take it by faith. Faith is
believing, speaking and acting on His Word.
Walls are part of our history. God built the first one around the Garden of Eden. Nehemiah rebuilds the wall of Jerusalem: The place of
blessing. Many are in need of repairing the wall of
financial security. Thru attacks, negligence and poor
decisions we have holes in the walls of our finances.

To stabilize our financial life we must apply
discipline, self-control, restraint, will power and the
money principles of the Bible. “Statistically in every ch. in

Mat 17:24-27 INTRO: Are you struggling over

would be able to replace it w/o paying for it on credit?
Most divorces are rooted in money mismanagement.
Accounting term, red negative balance; black positive
balance. Our goal is live in the black so we can bless

Christmas season, many are wearied by
preparing for the season. Cooking, special gatherings,
busyness. Life can wear on us. So many things can pull
on us, to the point we miss the reason for the season.
Weariness/stress when not relieved can lead to things
like heart disease, diabetes, thyroid issues, abuse of
alcohol, drugs, effects on our immune system
compounding issues like fatigue, arthritis, autoimmune
disorders, chronic infections, sleep disorders, lack of
concentration, muscle pain ect. These keep us from
being the best that God wants us to be. Devil, demons –
to distribute destinies.
PROTECT YOUR HEART 12/2/18, Pr 4: 23-27: All of us have been disappointed by others. Attacked, persecuted, disappointed, lied to, promises broken. Folks walking out of our life. Misunderstood, manipulated, cut off, ignored, laughed at, talked about, lied about, crushed, broken hearted. How can we move forward, get over it, w/o being disabled for life? By bracing for the
THREE THINGS! Luke 4:1-13 11/25/18. There are 3 things Satan doesn’t want you know about your identity. Three things Satan will challenge you on. In some respects the Ch. has been duped into believing that we are less than what Jesus was when He was on the earth. That we are more or less helpless to the deeds, activities of Satan and the world. That the things Jesus did as a man were to just prove who He is as Messiah, that we shouldn’t reach for the power and authority given to all faith believers. Satan is terrified of any Christian discovering their true identity in Christ.
