On the Breitbart News radio program of this date (February 12, 2016), Steven Bannon discusses Donald Trump's job and trade policy with senior policy advisor to Trump, Stephen Miller.

We have been discussing the ravages to the North American economy from the loss of manufacturing for some time.

The US had several hours of Republican debate and there was little discussion on "Fast Track" and the Trans Pacific Partnership. Why not?

What would Donald Trump's America look like? Could he turn around and "make America Great Again" with his vision to turn back the clock and fight the forces that have given us globalization?

Who are the leaders that we don't see or vote for who have brought us the current state of global trade?

While the Canadian Provinces work toward joining forces to negotiate better overall drug costs, the Federal Government is interested in joining the group as well. This is in stark contrast to the Federal approval of the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the inherent protections for drug patents and prices, giving the Pharma giants rights over the sovereign rights of Canadians. Is pharmacare a pipe dream at this point?

On this podcast, we will discuss this further.

The financial elephant in the room is charge card debt. If you have it, you don't need to feel embarrassed or ashamed. But you may be feeling trapped, as you look at options that are unviable and complicated, and perhaps risky in today's economic environment.

On today's show, we discuss the convenience of the new breed of lending, peer-to-peer, and how Canadians can take advantage of it now!

There is a non-publicized case in the courts right now challenging the charter of the Bank of Canada. It could have tremendous impact on how monetary policy is shaped moving forward. The constitutional lawyer handling the case is a veteran that claims it is the biggest case he ever has handled, yet you will not find it anywhere in a newspaper in Canada.

The plaintiff is COMER (Committee for Monetary and Economic Reform).

The government is defending and fighting their right to borrow at interest instead of interest-free. Imagine that. On today's podcast we look at this case and bring in some commentary and opinions from those studying the case.

In the Austin Powers movies, Dr. Evil turned to Austin Powers and said, "We are not so different you and I". It was comical. In the case of Christians and Muslims, it is important to know our similarities and differences in order to tolerate and realize the solution is peace. We examine Christian and Muslim views on Jesus' significance and place, and find comfort to know that He was an important element in both beliefs, with God at the helm.

Who is to blame for the resurgence of European nationalism in the wake of the terror attacks in Paris France earlier this month?

Can we blame our global, political parents for not assuring its' citizens (the children) that they will be treated fairly?

Are people gravitating towards groups that provide answers, whether extreme or not, but allow for collaboration, identity, and reassurance that everything will be okay - - just follow us?

On today's audio podcast, we examine the Globalization experiment, and the clash of civilizations that are resisting the blending of cultures the world over.

In 1993, Samuel P. Huntington, a Harvard Professor wrote a controversial and disturbing paper that was printed in the Journal, "Foreign Affairs" in which he outlined the consequences of the western push to a culture of universality. He mentioned this in his book, "The Clash of Civilizations and the remaking of world order".

The point is, the governments of the west knew that there would be a pushback from some Muslim factions, Chinese, and other cultures to the invasion of the western influence on the world. Although Jihadists do not represent Muslims, they are a disefranchised group that are reacting in a violent way, with reasoning that they are reacting to western foreign policy.

Now, PM Stephen Harper may use the threat of terrorism as a campaign platform in the coming October 2015 elections.

First of all, sorry for the reference to January 6, 2014 on the audio podcast. Can't get used to it actually being 2015! But on with the issue at hand!

Oh how Canada is a good 'ol boy willing to beat up our fellow Canadian and be influenced by political campaign rhetoric of many flavours.

On today's audio podcast, we look at the attack on labour in Canada, which is counter to the Universal Declaration of Rights fought for and a result of WWII. We are heading toward a westernized, technological global culture with tremendous pressure created and imposed on Canadians looking to secure their financial situations, but with no end in sight for the attack looking to disturb financial security.

The Harper Government has taken what could have given his governance a much needed boost in public opinion by strengthening the Health Council of Canada. Instead, he took a small budget office that was arguably the "glue" that solidified the strength of our universal health care system, and used it to move forward by leaving the provinces on their own. It doesn't make sense - - that is, until you see where the tail has been wagging the dog, inferring a political pressure from pharmaceutical suppliers to ensure high profits at the price of avoiding a sustainable pharmacare policy.

For those of you looking for travel insurance solutions, know that there are varied policy terms, exclusions and other inherent risks that can make ensuring the right policy challenging. And, why go it alone when brokers who handle these risks have done their homework to ensure you get the right policy. How is it working for you Canadian, if you are contracted, temporary or part-time? If you are a contingent worker in Canada – – also known as a freelancer – – how are you making out financially? Are you concerned about lack of benefit plans to protect you against disability, illness, or other expenses that could cripple you?

Are you worried about the imbalance in having large amounts of debt but without security of long-term work guarantees?

What about retirement?

How will our economy and you cope with the ticking time bomb that could go off anytime, if all things don’t go your way?

We discuss this with opinion on today’s audio podcast.

Canadian job security and trend toward underemployment and contracted work does not support the long-term, tremendous debt levels that will crush their dreams if interest rates rise slightly, disability hits, or the job disappears. But youth are taking on risk to compensate for the lack of financial hope in the job market.

Employers are "using" people not looking after them. This combination is a potential "perfect financial storm".

On today's show, we discuss how vital full disclosure of lifestyle and medical history is; yet it is left to the consumer to hold the bag if he or she does not understand what the insurer wants. And, why shouldn't the pyramid of responsibility filter from the insurer, to the broker, and then to the client, to help understand the terms of coverage, or whether the insurance plan is ultimately suitable? This and more in this audio podcast.
