The 11th and final day of the GC2018 Commonwealth Games did not disappoint - setting off on an amazing win in the Men's T54 Marathon to Aussies favourite son, Kurt Fearnley - with another 6 marathon medals for Australia to follow.
The Men's Squash Doubles and Boomers also brought home Gold before the most dramatic ends to the netball and Rugby 7s Women's finals.

Day 9 was highlighted by Aussie Gold and Silver in both the Shooting and Lawn Bowls - plus plenty of wins in our team sports with the Rugby 7s Women recording two wins on their first day of comp and the Opals and Kookaburras booked themselves a ticket to Gold medal matches.

Day 8 saw Aussie Golds in Lawn Bowls, Discus, High Jump, Volley Ball and Diving among other medals - before drama on the aths track with a disqualification in the Men's 200m.

Day 6 saw the end of the swimming program - finishing with Gold to our Men's and Women's 4 x 100m Medley Relay teams and plenty more success in the pool.
Other highlights included double Aussie Gold in Road Cycling and plenty of action in Athletics, Hockey, Lawn Bowls, Beach Volleyball, Table Tennis.

A huge day 5 saw the fastest men and women in the Commonwealth announced as well as plenty more Gold for Australia - on lawn, the vault, the gym floor and plenty more in the pool.

Day 4 had it all - agony and ecstasy in the race walk, we witnessed true the magic of true love at the basketball and the sheer joy of a shock upset at the netball - plus another medal haul across the track, pool and athletics field which saw Australia extend our medal-tally lead on the Gold Coast.
