In this episode Park Avenue begins a new sermon series to celebrate and affirm Black History, called “Un-Ordinary Time”. Preachers will draw from the lectionary texts for the liturgical season of Ordinary Time and integrate themes of Black history, revolution, joy, excellence and resistance with the true liturgical sense of Ordinary Time, which is intended to be a time for learning and implementing lessons of the seasons.
