In John 15, Jesus gives his disciples a strong picture of how to live a fruitful life and the key is abidance. But in today's world, so full of distractions, how can we actually abide with Jesus? The word picture that Jesus gives us of a vine and branches helps with the answer. In order to produce fruit, a vine needs the support of a trellis, structure to thrive.
