We are two millennials with different thoughts on current events, religion, social issues, relationships, parenting, and much much more!! We're both well rounded on these topics and want to compare and contrast our views from a male and female's perspective. Our content will be engaging, sometimes controversial, sensitive, thought provoking, and most of all exciting! Our goal is to be transparent with all of our views so that our audience is well informed, socially aware, and culturally sensitive, with an unbiased opinion on issues of today.
This episode started with us unpacking some comments from our last episode "You Reap What You Sow". Marquis shared his own internal conflict he was having for years as it relates to his role in the music ministry of his local church and the differences at his church now. Make sure you watch the previous episode to get the full context but Jeeah and Marquis go on a deep dive discussing this. Theres a lot of differences of opinion in this episode concerning that topic which made for a very interesting podcast.
We also discussed the standing ovation a mom received after calling on parents to leave the public school system. We discussed public, private, home school, and charter schools, the differences, and the opportunities they all provide. We gave our choice of which schools we want our children to attend.
We also discussed something that is very un-american, mandatory vaccinations and basketball superstar Kyrie Irving stance on it. In all this was a very good podcast that we hope you'll enjoy.
Lastly, we talked about facebook/instagram outage and how it affected everyone! Some of you couldn't function without it! Also a very funny topic!

This episode is dealing with the concept of reaping what you sow. In essence, the things you do coming back to you at some point and time in life. Marquis shared an event in his life that inspired this thought of reaping what you sow.
Amongst other things we talked about Drake and "the chord of David" and an internal struggle Marquis has had to deal with when it comes to being a church musician. Is he impacting the service by his own will or allowing God to do it? That was his personal battle for a long time that he decided to share with us.
Lastly, we discussed parenting, which inspired a deep dive on Dwayne Wade and Gabrielle Union.

Marquis discusses his mental health state currently and somethings he's been enduring. Talks about beefing with people that he loves and cares about and the toll it takes on him. Jeeah chimes on how we all need an outlet! Everyone has an outlet but we want to make sure its a safe outlet and the psychology behind why people turn to certain substances to get their release! We give some tips for when it comes to our youth as well to check in with them and see what they're watching and what they're doing. Everyone, including yourself, needs a wellness check. So make sure you take time out of your day to send a text or a phone call to someone you care about and make sure they're okay and let them know that you love them. Most importantly, let action and accountability exude from that as well.

This was supposed to be a bonus episode but we ended up having to save this for our regular release. We wanted to do a part 2 on our discussion of scripture beliefs and on this episode we took a topic in Revelations to dissect. That is who are the Two Witnesses! We've heard this discussion in bible studies and most people couldn't answer who these two witnesses are. Today we'll break this down for you.

Welcome to the Millennial Minded Podcast with Marquis & Jeeah! Now we hope not to lose any of you on this episode but we had to discuss some scriptural topics. This subject was sparked by a comment on our channel and we wanted to study it together. So on our first battle of scriptural beliefs, we'll be focusing on the Tribulation Period and whether Christ is coming for his church before or after the tribulation.
Both Jeeah and I will show why we believe what we believe! This is one of many hot topics debated in the Christian church.
We also discussed the Only Fans Ban that is taking place soon! Jeeah has some encouraging words for those that were making thousands of dollars a month and who will be affected by this new change.

On our newest episode we're discussing taking a stance against the mandates! NYC has started mandating that you need a covid 19 vaccination to participate in indoor activities. Jobs are even questioning if you are vaccinated and mandating that you get vaccinated by a certain time or else you can lose your job.
Clearly the government is forcing their way and infringing on the people's right to choose. This, at least to Marquis, is a foreshadow of the Mark of the Beast to come! If that day comes when you can't work, need groceries etc...will you give in to what the government is pushing or STAND? Food for thought!
We talked about the legendary Verzuz battle between Dipset & The Lox and the allegations of Governor Cuomo. Since it's been awhile since we last posted we wanted to give you guys and girls some recent life updates for us. One in particular is a church sabbatical from our local church. Marquis gave some updates on his life and new business launch as well has somethings that transpired with his dad and family. One of the biggest talking points of this episode is their desire of Going Black to Africa!
We responded to a few DM requests from friends that they asked us to talk about. One in particular is a controversial beta male youtubeian Kevin Samuels! We discuss a gender role discussion from a clip of Kevin Samuels about if a woman should be beside or behind your husband.

Hi, I am respectfully cheating on you...now we all know cheating is wrong but is there a right way to do the wrong thing? This is a topic we wanted to discuss since last week and ironically enough a avid listener of the podcast brought up the same issue in their own personal life. So we wanted to be a help our podcast listener and share our thoughts on Respectful Cheating.
On what's trending we discussed President Biden's first 100 days speech and Elon Musk and his Neuralink company and his long term vision/goal for the company. He stated "the future will be weird" and he isnt further from the truth. One day we will be able to upload/download memories according to him.
Jeeah also mentioned how women cheat wayyyy better than men and how they never get caught! Us men are the idiots who always get caught while women can take their deed to the grave!

We went over some comments from our previous episode about how long does it take a man to know that you are the one for him as well as the Kirk Franklin follow up. Marquis states his claim how fame has overtaken talent and is still making a plea for creators and consumers to choose skills over fluff. Fellas we need your input on this one! This episode was brought about because Jeeah has a big issue with some joker from Married At First Sight who basically humiliated his new wife on national television. Alot of things come to mind like, why are we participating in arranged marriages to begin with? Or better yet how far would we go to be make some money or secure the bag? In this current climate, people will embarrass themselves for likes, humiliate themselves for money etc....what is wrong with us?
But anyway it still doesnt excuse some of the details this person did knowing he wasnt attracted to his new wife. Can a man not be attracted to you but still have sex with you? On this episode we wanted to dive into the Shaka King directed movie, Judas and the Black Messiah and give a review of it. Spoiler alert
You should've saw this movie by now but if not, go ahead and subscribe to HBO Max and watch it. You will have mixed emotions about it but come away learning something new about the life of Fred Hampton. We've been saying for awhile that it be your own people. After watching this movie you'll see why.
Once you see the things our government did to its own people we had to ask ourselves, can you trust your own government? There has been many conspiracy theories tied to the government and it makes you wonder, can these things actually be true.
We went into some other topics in the what's trending section and please remember to pray for those affected by this weather in Texas and other states. Our hearts and prayers go out to them as well.
We talked about creative writing and collaborating with others to create a beautiful masterpiece in comparison to just writing by yourself and which do we prefer doing. We discussed the black panther party and all the wonderful things they were doing in their respective communities to help each other. There is something powerful about the people and the people coming together! There were some things we didn't even know about the black panthers that we found out in the movie. They were labeled as an extremist or terrorist group but by their actions you'll see they were not.

In this episode we wanted to pose this question to our viewers and ourselves. Are masculine men a rare breed in our current society. We are seeing a lot of progressive moments taking place and it seems like manhood in general is being diminished in an attempt to be all inclusive.

On this episode, your girlfriends best friend is a guy, Jeeah and I attempted to establish boundaries and what's ok when in a relationship. This question was given to us by a viewer and we wanted to share our thoughts on it. It comes down to people's insecurities mainly but also some lines shouldn't be crossed. We both have our differences of opinion on this touchy subject so please let us know what you think as well and how best to handle that.
Jeeah and I also continue to some experiences that happened in the past that led to us being assertive and learning how to confront difficult situations. If you thought that was just one instance in the past with that Pastor of Jeeah, you have no idea! We also wanted touch on a thing we call church hurt. Is that a real thing or is hurt simply hurt?

On today's episode we discussed Jeeah's tough decision on whether or not she should be fighting these battles on behalf of her son or should she let her son fight his own battles. It's tough because even though he is an adult you actually never stop being a parent. For most of the episode we took our time on clearing up some of these comments from our previous video and just chopping it up with our viewers. Marquis makes a shocking confession in this video and how a weight was lifted off of him. He also discusses his lack of patience in a relationship and being a conditional lover in the past. On episode 10 of our podcast we had to discuss Paula White's weird prayer to say the least. Somehow we dove into the lies that we believed and ending up giving an apology on behalf of the church as a whole. We had to dissect Paula White's prayer and some of the things she was spewing out from the pulpit. Jeeah did some research on the popular televangelist and found somethings that are very intriguing to say the least. We think you might want to take a listen and see how Paula White has made millions of dollars preaching her so called gospel. We decided to go into some of the lies that we believed growing up in the Christian church and how we feel bad for those are sincere in trying to learn about God and the faith.

Our question to you is who requires more affection in a relationship? Do you think it is the man or the woman? We gave our perspectives as it relates to this question and shared what we personally desire from a committed relationship. Have you ever wondered will I ever find love again or is there really a soulmate out there for everyone? Jeeah & I attempted to answer these questions for you and ourselves and to share some of our dating experiences. Dating for millennials is tough in 2020 and unfortunately people can be very shallow. So it was hard to say if you would ever find your soulmate or find "the one" true love in this day and age. However, we believe you shouldn't give up on the hope of finding love. Everyone deserves to be happy, love someone genuinely, and grow old with this person. Ideally, that's what life is primarily about.
We discussed Jeeah's online dating traumatic experiences (you will absolutely love them) and some dos * dont's for your online profile. We shared some pro tips to help get some engaging love interests to come and see your profile. We recommend that you take notes when we dive into this topic if you want to stand out and crush the competition. We also decided to describe what our ideal "type" is and if that's even realistic or if you need to lower your expectations a bit. However, we never say that you should settle in anyway when it comes to making these decisions.
