Change is hard, but the truth is—when you resist it, you’re making a choice.
An even harsher truth? Staying in your comfort zone is the reason your business isn’t growing. You’re stuck because you keep doing the same things, expecting different results. That’s the definition of insanity—and it’s killing your growth.
And keep in mind, "staying in your comfort zone" can manifest in ways you might not even realize. Micromanaging. Refusing to delegate. Needing total control. Waiting for perfection before taking action. Even creating chaos to sabotage your own progress. Believe it or not, you could be your own biggest obstacle.
Here’s the reality: Over 50% of businesses fail because they refuse to adapt, change, or face the hard truths about their strategies. Are you ready to stop blaming the market, the economy, or your competition? The real obstacle is you.
It’s time to ditch the excuses, make the changes, and start taking action. Growth isn’t easy, but neither is staying stagnant. If you’re serious about scaling your business, this is your wake-up call. Step out of the comfort zone. Embrace the chaos. Make bold moves.
Growth doesn’t happen where it’s safe, it happens when you face the uncomfortable truth and take action.
In this episode of iDigress, we dive deep into the uncomfortable reality of why many entrepreneurs, leaders, and creatives stay stuck. We’ll explore the powerful concept of "what you’re not changing, you’re choosing" and unpack how resistance to change often stems from fear, comfort, or denial.
• Why clarity is the first step to escaping chaos.
• The dangers of staying in your comfort zone.
• How to recognize when it’s time to pivot.
• Why embracing change (quickly) is necessary for business success.
• How to stop being a "control freak" and get out of the way of growth.
• Why successful execution requires humility and adaptability.

In this powerful episode, we dive into a transformative approach to client relationships that will change the way you do business, going beyond the surface to tackle some of the most pressing challenges entrepreneurs face today — especially those who want to maintain high standards, protect their boundaries, and ensure they’re working with clients who truly value what they bring to the table.
We explore the concept of making your clients audition for the privilege of working with you, much like contestants on American Idol. This isn’t about playing hard to get; it’s about setting clear boundaries, commanding confidence, and ensuring that the clients you take on are aligned with your values, vision, and the level of service you provide.
In this episode, I discuss:
Auditioning Your Clients: Just like in American Idol, not everyone makes it to the next round. I’ll teach you how to audition your clients, guiding you on principles to help them either self-eliminate or clearly identify themselves as strong potential candidates.
Creating Demand Generation: Discover how to generate strong demand for your services, making clients eager to work with you. When done right, this approach flips the script, positioning you as the sought-after expert who clients are vying to work with.
Combating Scope Creep: Learn how to protect your time and resources by setting firm boundaries from the start, ensuring that your projects stay within scope and that you're compensated fairly for any additional work.
Setting Boundaries and Expectations as an Empath: As someone who genuinely cares about others (and I'm sure you do in your business), it can be challenging to enforce boundaries. I’ll share strategies to balance empathy with the necessity of maintaining your professional integrity.
Commanding Confidence in the Discovery Phase: The initial discovery phase is crucial for establishing authority and setting the tone for the entire client relationship. I’ll guide you on how to exude confidence and control during this critical stage.
Mastering Value-Based Pricing: Discover how to shift the focus from cost to value, ensuring that clients understand and appreciate the worth of your services. I’ll share techniques for implementing value-based pricing that aligns with the results you deliver, helping you command higher fees while maintaining client satisfaction.
Maintaining High-Profit Margins: Learn strategies to keep your profit margins high without compromising on the quality of your work. We’ll discuss how to structure your offerings and negotiations to ensure you’re paid what you deserve, allowing you to focus on delivering excellence.
Removing Objections with Confidence: Objections can derail a conversation and undermine the perceived value of your services. I’ll guide you on addressing and removing objections preemptively, creating an environment where clients see you as the essential bridge to achieving their goals. By removing the air out of the room, you’ll keep the focus on the vision and the transformative impact of working with you.
Eliminating Budget Concerns: Learn how to remove budget from the equation by shifting the conversation to value. I’ll show you how to guide clients to see the worth of your services, allowing you to command the rates you deserve while keeping your profit margins high.
By the end of this episode, you’ll have a clear roadmap for elevating your business relationships, protecting your time and energy, and ensuring that the clients you work with are a perfect fit for your services. If you’re tired of chasing clients, compromising on rates, or dealing with constant scope creep, this episode is for you.

One of the BIGGEST mistakes most businesses make? They assume who they're speaking to is just like them.
But that's furthest from the truth. Does it feel like anything you put out there just gets lost in the "multiverse" of people?
No results? No growth? Nothing is connecting to your audience at the volume or pace you desire?
We all have different life experiences, values, and priorities that influence our culture.
We must connect to the multiverse of cultures of each and every person we hope to engage and buy from us.
There are three baskets of culture: 1) World Culture 2) Local Culture and 3) Personal Culture
This episode will connect and highlight why understanding the three-tier layer culture of your audience will make all the difference in how you grow, how fast you grow, and the most sustainable ways growth can be amplified by your community at large!

Peak ROI is different for everyone: every department, team, personnel, investor, stakeholder, and executive.
Those that are impacted the most? Your marketing and sales teams. What's worse? Most aren't aligned on results to focus on.
This is what's holding many businesses back from achieving peak performance across the board.
Eliminate the "bad blood" between marketing and sales and help them align their goals, processes, and metrics, and watch what happens!

Is Ignoring Social Issues in Your Marketing, Sales, & Communication the Best Course of Action? Think Again!
How do you navigate social media responsibly during racial conflicts, politics, social issues, hot topics as a business, leader, marketer, creator, social media or community manager?
Many feel that what happens in the world doesn’t impact their content calendar, marketing campaign, sales outreach, message tone, or method of distribution whatsoever in regards to their audience.
That is completely wrong and furthest from the truth.
From George Floyd (2020) to Sonya Massey (presently navigating) to the presidential election (again) to massive layoffs to oppressed people impacted in numerous places around the world and beyond as the list goes on and on…
Just staying in your bubble because maybe you don’t identify, relate, acknowledge, believe, or whatever the case may be and not adjusting or acknowledging anything in any way may seem like the best course of action. But is it?
The people who buy from you, work for you, watch, read, or listen to your content, attend your events, invest in you, advocate for you, and give you attention may all be impacted by such things that may not necessarily relate directly to you on an individual level, company level, and so forth.
We have to acknowledge that reality.
And depending on things, make adjustments accordingly.

Whether you’re a marketer, event organizer, community leader, business executive, or content creator, the path to achieving your desired success comes down to cultivating ideal experiences. Without that, nothing can be built, established, or mobilized within the minds of people.
What makes someone pay to come to an event?
What makes someone watch or read content?
What makes someone buy something, anything? An experience that drove curiosity! An experience that created a need or want. And an anticipated experience of the outcome after. But how do we harness that? Where do we start? This episode will break all of that down in a simple, understandable way, as taken from my live virtual keynote presentation.

Let's drop some real tea on innovation, AI, and the state of marketing, old school iDigress style — fast-talking, high-energy, value gems dropping every other second. Let's go on the record and break down the good, the bad, and the reality of all of these things!
Is the “perception of innovation” being personified as a “standard move” more than the actual act of innovation itself?
Are brands really being innovative or merely copycats adding bedazzles on top to look different?
What does embracing AI vs integrating AI within your business, offering, and operations actually look like?
How do we navigate all of this in the creator economy, the rise of AI, the shift from third to first-party data, and so much more?
This episode is jam-packed with answers, studies, observations, and expanded considerations of intentional thoughts to explore on all of this and more.

Perception vs. perspective has either ended businesses before they got off the ground or saved businesses with a phenomenal pivot. Many entrepreneurs, startups, business leaders, marketers, and go-to-market specialists need to acknowledge that their perception of themselves, value, product, service, or interpretation of the marketplace can be flawed, narrow-minded, or completely inaccurate. To combat this, you must embrace gaining a better perspective by exploring other possibilities of the source of truth beyond what you see, know, can identify, or believe at times.
The more value threads you create in the minds and literal usability of the consumer, the stronger the bonds, and the higher the probability of becoming a buyer, an advocate, a connection conductor, and part of an engaging community of support, referrals, and brand resonance. The question is, how do you create and maintain value threads effectively?

Entrepreneurship is hard. Everyone says that. But why? Whether you're an entrepreneur, creator, speaker, or author, these levels and the tiers of achievement and success break most people! Seventy-five percent of those that try, don't make the cut. Just like in basketball, the odds are so small to make pro, why even try? Yet those who do make it knew the odds and pursued it anyway. And in the same way, we're all digital athletes trying to be great at something within our domain. Why? How? Can we actually do it? Can we become the Steph Curry, the Caitlin Clark, the LeBron James in the thing we do? Let's talk about it!

It's no secret that most people are terrible at selling.
They struggle with rejection. They lack confidence. They fumble with clear communication.
They don't know how to build the right systems, create the right messaging, and convey the right psychological cues to win.
They're making a lot of noise, doing a lot of tasks, and staying very busy, but they aren't making any money to sustain themselves.
They're doing a ton of marketing based on "best practices," but their sales pipeline is empty, and their revenue is nonexistent.
Is this you? Is this your sales team? Is your business struggling to get the bag in any or all of these areas?
This episode will provide you with an in-depth masterclass on the art and science of selling, referencing great insights from past episodes of the iDigress Podcast catalog and my book Strategize Up.

This is Part II of our MASTERCLASS episode series on the A.I. Revolution and practicality for marketers!
You can go listen to A.I. Revolution Part I here.
A.I. experts Susan and Scot Westwater continue to break down the history, evolutions, practical applications, and technology integrations that are possible through Artificial intelligence. From generative to pragmatic to voice marketing and beyond, we explore its depths in a way that is easy to understand. We even cover the intentionalism, integrity, and real-world reality of how A.I. is already and will be infused even more with our daily lives and how we can apply it to help grow our businesses in equitable ways.
They define A.I. as using natural language conversations to allow interactions between humans and computers.
Major topics include: avoiding A.I. hype and overpromises; the need for education on practical A.I. applications; guiding businesses through an A.I. strategy rooted in empathy; using A.I. ethically to aid humans, not replace them; industry-specific use cases; measuring the business impact of A.I.; and their upcoming book "Voice Marketing" designed to advance the field.
With the right strategic foundation and reasonable expectations, A.I. technologies like voice assistants and chatbots offer exciting potential to streamline operations, engage audiences, and drive growth. However, A.I. should enhance human creativity and empathy, not seek to automate everything. With deliberate innovation and compassion, A.I. can be used responsibly to create positive change.
P.S. This is only a snippet. Watch the full episode on YouTube to get all the gems from this conversation!
And speaking of A.I. check out HubSpot's State of Marketing Report, which talks heavily about A.I. for marketers!
Special Gift: If you tweet #AIRevolution with the link to either podcast or YouTube episode and tag @FindTroy, @ScotWestwater, and SusanWestwater (@SJW75), we will send you the ConversationalAI. Readiness Checklist for Marketers! You can also share and tag us on LinkedIn to get it!

How you build a business of success requires an irresistible offer.
The only way to create that offer, is by creating something valuable defined by the market, not by your own mind.

Your conversation has gone according to plan. They absolutely loved your presentation, adored your team, aligned with your mission, and resonated with your purpose. They view you as an expert in your field and feel confident in what you can do. But then it all falls apart in a hurry the moment you give the price. Sounds familiar?
Well, you aren't alone. 65% of salespeople state that price is the hardest part to navigate when closing.
The trick here is to associate the investment equivalent of the price point to an experience worth paying for that gets results.
Consumers know the value of the sales experience and the connection that can be made with a partner company. About 84% of business buyers say that experience is just as important as the product or service being sold, with around 67% willing to pay more for a great experience. These numbers underscore the importance of a positive sales process.
This episode will help you understand the four components of a great pricing infrastructure that will help you go from start to finish, hopefully with a signed contract at the end.

Your marketing sucks... respectfully, maybe? But let's talk about the reasons it may be failing you and what you can do about it.
Think of the "best practices" in marketing and business that you hold in high regard as foundational pieces to how you do marketing and business in the first place. When was the last time you actually evaluated them? Is that information relevant to where you are now and driving results home for you?
What about the people, business, and resources you learn from and base many of your implementations, strategies, martech stack, and timelines on when both evaluating the market and your business? When was the last time you assessed the relevancy of those sources in today's modern era of marketing and business operations?
Think of this episode as a mental questionnaire and checklist to reevaluate the core sources that influence how you look and do marketing. Hopefully, it sparks curiosity to explore and optimize it for better results and outcomes.

Where do entrepreneurs go to be reborn? After a challenging year. After losing clients. After navigating a demanding marketplace or having to pivot. Everyone talks about coming out on the other side, but what do you do when you find yourself in the sunken place as an entrepreneur or business leader?
Are you navigating losing a substantial amount of clients? Is your business not growing like you hoped it would after taking a big leap of faith and making a huge investment of time, money, and energy? Maybe you're navigating unemployment? Maybe personal struggles, mental anguish, burnout, or a life-altering situation has changed everything, and you're trying to establish a new foundation to build upon again.
Well, if any of this feels relatable, this episode is for you. Let's navigate how to proceed together!

Why do many business leaders expect other people to just "understand" their value in the marketplace?
You created an LLC. You bought a domain. You built a website. You posted on LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok.
And you're just expecting folk to come running to you after you announced you exist as a business or provide a new service?
I'm sorry to bring you back to reality, but that's a dream that typically won't come to pass out of the gate.
Profitable businesses become profitable businesses from great leaders who can provide a clear understanding to others about the value of the business, the impact of the service, the why behind your existence, and where you can take others.
Whether you're a solopreneur, a co-founder, an executive leader, a director, a manager, or somewhere in between, a business doesn't grow, survive, thrive, scale, and expand without high-quality leadership across the board to drive revenue, leverage effective marketing, produce concrete sales tactics, and cultivate great company culture.
The question becomes, are you that leader? Can you be that leader? How do you be that leader? And what does that look like?
This episode will expand on questions you must answer to know what type of leader you are and where you fit into your business. We will also explore the honest truth behind the key metrics to pursue to scale your business and the myths we debunk behind what many leaders need to stop focusing on because it's a waste of time, money, and resources.
This episode is full of heart, energy, and a barrage of reality checks served with a side of truth.

Many businesses let the fear of hearing "no" stop them from being aggressive in sales. They shouldn't.
It's not about hearing "no" occasionally in the sales cycle when it's more about do you know whether or not the market is saying "no" to your offerings as a business? Is there demand and need? Do they understand?
This is the part where many businesses create a false perception of their business value and demand in the market.
In many ways, more businesses need to think like lawyers and position their efforts to maintain a high winning percentage.
You must understand the facts and seek the truth in order to operate, market, and sell accordingly.

The numbers are in and 90% of all business ideas will fail miserably. But don't fret, most of the ideas fail because many struggle with the transfer of the idea into a tangible product or service that solves a big enough problem to be in constant demand.
The goal is to take your idea and lay out the vision to then convert that into an actionable plan with a proof of concept that becomes an undeniable product, service, or deliverable that can generate consistent revenue and scale.
Let's discuss how to be part of the 10% that actually makes it work!

Adaptability = Survivability = Sustainability.
The numbers have always reinforced that the longer you are able to stay in business during certain milestones, the higher the percentage you will be successful in business. No surprise that the longevity of a business's existence runs parallel with the growth and success of that business. But most emerging businesses need to think long-term and work backwards to reengineer their approach for the short-term.
Passion. Obsession. Immediate Action. All great and necessary intangibles to get off the ground and liftoff. But certainly, charting out a path to the moon and beyond even before the rocketship is funded and built is part of the process if you want to break through the atmosphere in a mighty way.
With the rise of AI/ML, as shown through the fast-adopting movement with Chat-GPT as well as this constantly changing and ever-evolving business/marketing landscape that is impacting both legacy and emerging brands, it is getting more difficult to know which way to go, how to fortify, and how to scale your business long-term.
The secret to the longevity of a business, from brand allegiance and authority to maintaining high-level demand upstream and downstream to even being recession-proof, is all dependent on this one X Factor most business leaders easily forget. This episode dives in and talks about it!

This is an audio open letter addressing the elephant in the room... why are we still talking about the same things when it comes to being more inclusive, respectful, empathetic, and responsive to black and marginalized leaders, businesses, creators, employees, clients, customers, and communities without more action being taken and more progress being made?
The truth is we need more to be done to ensure no matter the industry, profession, or business type, from startups to legacy brands and everything in between, the investment in creating a dynamic ecosystem where people can feel empowered to work to their best abilities for the good of the sustainability of the brand and their livelihood is made while building and maintaining a culture standard to mitigate and eliminate additional obstacles and challenges because of their race, skin, identity, gender, socio-economic status, and beyond.
So let's talk about it. Let's listen. Let's educate. And then let's take action!

We need more diversity and representation on stages, at events, behind the microphones, and in the executive boardrooms.
But just stating that obvious fact and taking real action to make that a reality are two separate things.
The truth is the only way change can occur, is by not only educating but empowering people in power to take action for change by aligning those investments, those initiatives, and those advances with what everyone wants more of: money.
In this episode, I explain why more representation isn't just the right thing to do, it's the best financial thing to do. I share snippets from my interview with Megan Powers on the Trade Show Talk Podcast expressing my feelings on social impact, on the need for more women and diverse individuals with a seat at the table, and even got very personal regarding my experiences, vantage point, and reflection as a speaker, business owner, business leader, creator, and as a black man.
Let me be crystal clear, black is not only beautiful, black is not only powerful, black is profitable!

Vulnerability is a strength, not a weakness, according to Brené Brown. I had recently heard her speak so eloquently on the subject. I instantly saw the connection and parallels we as business owners, operators, and creators face as we navigate the pursuit of success with the daily grind. We don't update our tools, resources, and processes to where we are now enough. We operate our business, we perform our jobs, and we build as if it's just us in the room. When we need to understand the only way to scale is through expansion, delegation, and patience. This episode is all about challenging you to be vulnerable about who you are, where you are, who you want to be, where you want to be, and what you need to become, build, and remove to get there.

Have you set any new year's resolutions lately?
Are you going through a series of changes?
New birthday? Massive life change? New family addition? Work changes or challenges?
I've been there, and I can empathize as well as relate. In many cases, a new year will look exactly like the previous year if you don't make changes and achieve your goals. In most cases, a past goal or desire will remain a goal or desire weeks, months, or even years from now if you don't make changes and achieve your goals. I think you may see the pattern here. But regardless of the reason or the ignition to acknowledge a change or even pursue a change or declare a goal, if one does not take action in the pursuit and possess the discipline to see it through, nothing will ever happen, no change will occur, and nothing will be accomplished.
So instead of beating around the bush, let's talk about it. Let's sit in that sunken place, in that void, at those crossroads and discuss what our options are, what we can do, and how to begin to make dreams into reality and actions into accomplishments.

Have you conducted a 2022 personal audit? Reflection is essential to critical redirection and acceleration in business and life.
On this episode, I discuss the particulars of how to learn from the past year, how to navigate teetering sales and client opportunities from 2022 going into 2023, the importance of declaration and delegation, and why the first thing you need to focus on is not the business, but yourself, for your business to grow and for you to be even more successful this year.
I also share my goals for 2023 and expound on the pillars of growth and success while giving you a motivational boost to pursue being greater!

I said no to Black Friday, Cyber Monday, or holiday-themed discounts on my growth strategy retainers and services because the price is the price. If you are an emerging brand that isn’t dependent on volume and want 6 - 8 figure clients working with you, discounts aren’t the tactic to use. If you are a service-based business and have to discount a high ticketed offer for like 40% - 80%, how do you expect to actually make 6 - 8 figures if you aren’t a B2C/D2C focusing on volume, upsells, and subscriptions? You most likely won’t. Your ideal audience shouldn't need a price reduction to jump because price shouldn't be an issue.
The solution is using the right tactics and positioning to get the quality of clients and the number of projects you want.
Make sure your moves match desired outcomes.
Make sure your marketing matches desired outcomes.
Make your positioning and pricing match desired outcomes.

The truth is if you aren't growing, you're simply using the wrong tactics. Many make decisions based on how they feel or what they think and don't consider the market, the demand, or the time it takes to go to market, build community, and drive residual sales. But before you can apply the right tactics, you must have the right strategy in place based on your growth goals, industry, timeline, price point, audience, and offerings. Take a listen to this master class I shared with entrepreneurs, startups, and agencies, where I break down the essentials to course-correct your business to grow and scale, pursue ideal clients, attract opportunities and sponsorships, and leverage the creator economy to make a brand imprint on your community.

Google search has changed. Social media platforms have changed. How we use data analytics has changed. Not to mention the marketplace and values of your ideal audience have shifted. The pandemic has accelerated so many things for your customers and potential customers, from how they consume to how they make buying decisions. With so many things evolving almost at the speed of light, where do SEO, social media, and data analytics fit into your marketing strategy and customer lifecycle ecosystem?
Semrush's Head of Marketing Vlad Opryshko asks me questions in another "Ask The Strategy Hacker" themed episode where we discuss SEO, TikTok, social listening, data analytics, LinkedIn, Instagram, social media schedulers, creator economy, influencer marketing, lead generation, and more!

As the state of social media is getting more complex, the stakes for having a strong brand presence are higher, and trying to reach the decision-maker is even more challenging. How do B2B and agency-centric brands – and the social media managers behind them – create content that breaks through within the LinkedIn platform ecosystem that also converts into tangible ROI?
Regardless of what industry you are in, what product or service you sell, or whom you serve, all brands are now de facto media publishers. It’s not enough to simply “target specific titles, company sizes, revenue, and geo-locations” and create and schedule content to just run and think that basic Linkedin strategy alone will drive new inquiries, mentions, comments, and conversations that matter.
In this "masterclass-themed" episode, I breakdown

Creating good content consistently leads to conversations that lead to connections that lead to conversions.
Your content either needs to make the demand to be valuable, or it meets the demand of the marketplace to be valuable.
Good content is only confirmed by those who consume it. Most will never see your content if you don't distribute it enough.
I've spoken on this in quite a few episodes in my podcast catalog to this point, but I take it up a notch. With the state of various social media platforms in distress and others seemingly becoming ineffective to help you reach and convert new audiences, it is time we go back to the fundamentals of content marketing. Invest more in email, newsletters, podcasting, video, long-form, short-form, LinkedIn, YouTube, and so forth because an omnichannel approach to your community is the best policy. Balance your social media content with a direct non-social form of communication as well. It's not a must-have anymore, it's a necessity.

In this "Ask The Strategy" episode, I talk with Global Branding Expert JP Hightek about creating content to increase your GAP — Growth Authority, and Profitability. In Part 1 of this two-part episode, I cover things from the deep work to establishing a foundation where authentic content can come from, how my content has increased my authority, the process required to help you grow in your content and in your business, and the results of that from my book to being the host of INBOUND 2022 and more.
We also discuss your time management, chasing your vision, embracing your gift, productivity fundamentals, creating automation and systems, and accepting change in order to evolve. A lot of content creators aren't making money, aren't breaking into their niche industry, and aren't gaining the visibility and opportunities they want because they aren't disciplined and patient in their content creation development. JP and I talk about what you can do as a content creator to change that.

Your target audience is too big. You're moving too fast. Your sales messaging is too broad. What you need to do is think smaller, move slower, and be more specific with your offer in order to grow your business. The reality is, in many cases, we either have too much zeal or too much fear to change directions when clearly we've hit a massive roadblock that is not going away anytime soon. If you're serious about leveling up the abundance of your business now and in the years to come, you might need to hit ctrl, alt, delete, and end all tasks. Clear everything. Then reprioritize your priorities, marketing and sales efforts, and your overall business approach to how you position, present, and project the value of your offer.

A confused mind will never buy. To be real, if you aren't getting the attention, the engagement, the conversations, and ultimately the sales you want, it's because of either two things: 1) you're talking to the wrong audience or 2) what you're saying doesn't make sense to anyone, and therefore no one sees your value will not and buy your product or service.
The biggest reason you're not getting where you want to go, making the money you want to make is because you aren't being clear enough about who you serve, what it is that you do, what marketing tactics you need to do, your sales techniques you need to implement, and your brand messaging. You may think you are speaking in a language your ICP can understand and see the value of your MVP. But let's keep it real, if that were the case, you'd be making the money and success you wanted by now.
This episode is not meant to hurt but to provide tough love and challenge you to look at every part of your business differently in order for you to grow to the level you want starting right now.
P.S. Less than 10% of all startups will succeed. Why aren't more succeeding? Because they don't implement and excel at building a custom growth engine designed for the sustainability and scalability of their startup to achieve hyper-growth and longevity, whether that's to become one of the new breeds of legacy brands or to sell or eventually be acquired. Learn how to attract and convert your ICP from your content velocity and the concepts to increase the valuation of your MVP in this episode.
I spoke to hundreds of startup founders as a keynote speaker at Glorium Technologies' Startups: Funding & Beyond 2022, where I gave all the essential tea to building the infrastructure and instilling the concepts necessary for your startup to be among the 10% that make it all the way. Have you ever been in a situation where you're waiting for a client to pay you? Maybe you're waiting for that signed contract to come through? Does it feel like you're always playing the waiting game? Waiting for someone to get back to you, for payment to process, for those "promised" referrals, and so forth? This is the episode for you.
People want to grow 3x, 5x, 10x, or even 100x, but most don't have the capacity, capabilities, and growth mindset to match that level of scalability. Proper preparation prevents poor performance. How confident are you in your business? Are your systems, infrastructure, and stack efficient? Stay ready so you don't have to get ready.
Unfortunately, if you've been in business long enough, these things will inevitably happen. Your job is to make sure when the unexpected happens, it doesn't completely destroy your business. Having the right mindset, structures, systems, sales framework, and marketing ideologies in place can help. This is the way.

Growth in anything requires consistency and productivity in your actions.
Stop saying what you can't do and start making the time necessary to do.
Set goals. Achieve goals. Repeat. Set goals. Achieve goals. Repeat.
The people that may judge your value or ability in many cases are only looking through a very narrow lens, and their lens was wrong. Their opinion doesn’t determine your value. You determine your value by your outputs and outcomes.
Everyone wants to be like Michael Jordan. Not everyone has the mentality to continue to work like him, even when some of the very ones he looked up to the most doubted his ability, dismissed his potential, and dismantled his desire to achieve what we all know now he could do and did in fact achieve. But to be like Mike, you have to continue the path no matter what happens.
Set goals. Achieve goals. Repeat. Set goals. Achieve goals. Repeat.
It’s the little wins compounded over time that help you capitalize on the big moments.
So if you want to be the MJ of your field, industry, business, etc, make sure you maintain the tenacity, determination, hunger, poise, patience, fortitude, diligence, and work ethic necessary to do so.
No one can’t write your story but you.
So stop giving outside opinions that don’t line up the power to create the narrative of how far you can go or what you can be.
You are in the process of writing your story.
Do the work. Set your goals. Achieve your goals. And watch how much growth you achieve.

Everyone wants to scale, and they want to scale even faster.
We all want to fly like lightning, strike like thunder, and give a "here comes the boom" as we assert our dominance and value in the marketplace. But here's the thing, not everyone can, and most won't simply because as they were trying to increase speed and boost momentum, they didn't check the fundamentals. They haven't fortified their brand's foundational necessities to have the capacity and capability to grow at the rate they want.
Let's discuss how to accelerate your growth engine to maximize your profitability and the speed of your growth potential.

Two words can make all the difference in being the best leader possible and maximizing your team's productivity. The two words are listening and motivation. When you practice active listening and know the motivation behind every team member, you can catapult your business to growth potential you didn't even think was possible.
Pulling from Amazon's Leadership Principles, Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, and McClelland's Human Motivation Theory, I break down how you can triangulate the most effective path to evolving yourself into the best leader you can be while developing your team to be more productive, driven, motivated, accountable, and successful while simultaneously creating a dynamic culture that retains your employees and accelerates your business success sustainably.

Two things you need to learn in order to successfully launch, grow, maintain, and scale your business: sowing and building.
There's an art, science, and philosophy to sowing seeds that we can apply to sales nurturing and enablement.
The ability to build is critical when it comes to the sustainability of your business, especially in times like these navigating a post-pandemic, pre-recession, volatile marketplace.
Mastering both skills of thinking like a farmer and a builder will help ensure the continuation of your business now and the success of your business in the weeks, months, and years to come.
Let's break down why we need to approach sales as to sowing seeds and how building bridges is better than constructing sales funnels to drive more revenue in a more simplified, durable way in these modern times.

Many people have a ton of talent. But there aren’t that many who have the discipline, determination, and drive to manifest the potential of their talent to an extremely high level.
To be a master of something, a master of your craft, Malcolm Gladwell says you need at least 10,000 hours.
Now in the grand scheme of things, that’s only 1.142 years. Doesn’t seem like a lot, right?
But in actuality, that’s a lot of time to invest.
Let's dive in deep and break down what's necessary to become a legitimate master, a subject matter expert in whatever your talent, passion, and discipline are!

It is common knowledge that matter exists in three states—liquid, solid, and gas.
Water can transition between these states depending on the temperature it is exposed to.
Often, as professionals, businesses, or even in our personal lives, we refuse to change our state to adapt, survive, and thrive in our environment.
A big reason for us not growing and taking action comes down to our thinking.
Let's explore how to master our thoughts to be agile as water to transition to the necessary state of being in order to succeed.
Are we in the right state of mind in order to position ourselves and/or our business to be in the right state to grow?

Did you know that growing a business is actually difficult? I'm sure you did.
But did you know a big secret in growing, sustaining, and scaling a business comes down to having clarity?
Sometimes we are too quick to take action and don't spend enough time asking the right questions and getting the right answers before making any moves.
This episode dives into the five growth secrets to gain more growth and learn communication tactics to improve your conversion rate within your sales pipeline.
Sales always comes down to meaningful relationships.
My new book Strategize Up expounds on the three relationships of B.A.E. you need to identify by the end of every call.
• Buyers
• Advocates
• Elevators
Too many are focused only on those who can buy and eliminate those who can’t or have no need to buy right now. Which is the wrong approach. You’ll know in the first five minutes if they are interested, qualified, and ready to be a potential buyer. If they aren’t a buyer, don’t just end the call. Every conversation is valuable and can lead to more invaluable conversations.
Apply B.A.E. to your rounds of sales calls, outbound messaging, networking, and social media efforts, and see how your whole experience will change.
You’ll go from thinking win-lose situation to embracing a win-win mentality!

Do you want $500K, $5M, or $50M+ in sales? Are you making the right investments, performing the right marketing and sales initiatives, and embracing the right platforms with the right messaging to position yourself to reach those numbers and beyond?
The reality is this marketplace is unlike any other we've experienced before. And the honest truth is many Entrepreneurs, Startups, SMBs, Agencies, Marketers, BDMs, SDRs, B2Bs, SaaS, Tech, etc are missing the mark entirely because they haven't positioned the odds in their favor to succeed.
70% of businesses will fail within five years or less. A big reason is businesses want to grow but don't know how to maintain their growth.
This episode will explain how to operate, market, and sell your business to achieve sustainability first and scalability second.

Do you want to generate more growth for your business? Of course, you do.
But the biggest thing holding companies back from achieving their desired growth comes down to perspective.
How do you perceive your marketing, messaging, and marketplace?
How does your ideal client profile (ICP) perceive your marketing, messaging, offering, and brand?
Have you considered you've been focused on the wrong ICP, which is hindering you from achieving the growth, sales, and benchmarks you need?
Are you doing too much inbound when you should be doing more outbound or vice versa? The reality is many are running their marketing/sales operations like driving a car that needs an oil change, new tires, new fluids, and has a bad transmission but think just keeping gas in the tank is enough to get to their destination. Sadly, it's not! Find out what you really need to do to scale!

Who in your organization is genuinely responsible for growth? Is it marketing? Is it sales? Do you know?
Is your organization even running and tracking things in an optimal way for you to know what's working and what's not?
The reality is that many teams, departments, and groups can be doing their jobs but aren't making any progress because they are not doing their jobs as individuals that complement the strengths and negate weaknesses for the organization's greater good.
I keep it raw and real (and a little edgy) in this episode asking a lot of questions and hoping it compels you to truly think about your teams, the way you do marketing, your sales tactics, and the overall health of your business.

Many of you are making noise but not saying what your ideal audience wants to hear.
You may think you sound like a well-tuned symphony with your messaging, but in actuality, you might sound like nails to a chalkboard to the very people you are trying to do business with. In most cases, an increase in content creation, content distribution, content mediums, or content ad spend will never be the solution to content that was doomed to fail from its conception.
You need to ask two questions that I will cover in this episode to figure out how to position your business for success in a very saturated market.

Let's be honest, scaling a business is not for the faint of heart.
It's incredibly challenging and involves a lot of risk, sacrifice, patience, poise, and persistence.
In order for your business to scale effectively, you must have a clear path on what you need to do to make that leap in growth.
On this episode, I cover the four lessons Kieran Flanagan, SVP of Marketing at HubSpot, reflects on that attributed to HubSpot reaching one billion ARR. I also talk about the business, marketing, and mental approach necessary to start achieving disruptive growth in your specific marketplace as well as how to onboard clients faster using evergreen content to close more deals.

If you are trying to market and sell something, you are in the behavioral science business.
Unless a business influences behavior, it will not succeed. A business needs people to buy and use its products and services to generate revenue. It needs people to make and deliver those products and services. And it needs to do those things better than its competitors to survive and grow.
If there is one thing to learn from behavioral science, it is this: what people do is often not the same as what they say they do, or intend to. If a business does not employ this understanding of how people make decisions – that they are frequently driven by subconscious or external factors they are not aware of – they will fail.

Quantity vs Quality.
Content Creation vs Content Distribution.
Value vs Volume.
Which combination would you focus on for your business? Social media marketing? Will work for your audience?
It's time to tackle one of the greatest debates in marketing, which is more important: quality or quantity?
This episode is jam-packed with gems, various points of view, and is intended to dig deep into how do we quantify quality, how much volume do you need to do to have effective quantity, and is the quality of content created defined by how many times that piece of content can be repurposed among various distribution channels.

Everyone wants to talk about Brand Identity: Who am I? What am I? What's my niche? Who is my target audience? Where's my community? You know, the usual stuff.
But what businesses don't do enough, is put the time in to understand their level of Brand Equity: How much value do you have in the bank today? How many people are buying into your brand right now? Are you getting enough value back? What is your brand perception and experience among those who engage with your brand? Are you generating enough money through your current brand positioning? And how well does every layer of your brand resonate?
Understanding and reassessing what your brand equity is while checking if it is in alignment with what you need to achieve is critical to how your business shows up and converts. If you recall my episode about the relationship status of B.A.E. among your customers, then this is the next level masterclass around that core point.
It's all about trust. If you have the trust of your customers, clients, network, community, you can stay (and scale) in business.
In today's episode, I'm going to reference this study to talk about trust currency, brand equity, a deep dive into branding, establishing branding positioning, and how it's important to the overall success and sustainability and the scalability and the growth of your business in every facet from you as the business to the consumer, to the customer, to the deliverables and beyond.

If a client says yes and signs but reneges...
If a client says yes but ghosts you...
If a client says no...
Which situation was worse? The outcome was the same. That particular door of opportunity was not meant to open for you.
We can't control the outcome, just like we can't swim upstream of a waterfall no matter how much effort we put into it.
Whether it's an upmarket acquisition, increasing sales, maximizing marketing, expanding brand authority, and so on, they all require you to do one key thing: keep knocking.
This episode breaks down the mindset, tenacity, patience, poise, and persistence required to be successful at anything in business, from marketing to sales to branding to network and just running your business in general. I will use a simple analogy to convey a big message, so be prepared to go on a mental journey!

Swagger is such a powerful word, and yet it's frequently misconstrued.
The way I see it, businesses, brands, and people with a certain level of swagger typically win.
And who doesn't want to be a winner?
But the question is, do you have that swagger that is infectious enough that attracts, amplifies, and activates people to become your customers, be part of your community, and serve as your extended branding, marketing, and sales teams?
Swagger is imperative to win. Swagger separates you from the competition.
Swagger makes you memorable. When you're memorable, you stay top of mind.
But the key is to make sure you "keep that same energy" at every interaction point with a customer, fan, advocate, prospect, employee, client, etc.
This episode breaks down the importance of swagger and how it is essential to the growth and development of your business, positioning, power, community, and ultimately your business or brand legacy.

Is your business more like chocolate cake, or a Tylenol? You're probably wondering what in the world am I talking about. Your business is either a pain reliever or a pleasure provider. You either stop pain or you add joy, understanding which one you are, if you're the chocolate cake or you're the Tylenol makes all the difference in your messaging, in your branding and how you articulate yourself and how you position yourself and what techniques and tactics are going to help you grow your business. Because now you know which emotional triggers will give you the result that you want.
If you know that your business is stopping pain, you want to push that pain as hard as you can. And then you hit them with the solution on the other end of the stick.
If you're creating joy, you want to make that joy feel so well that they will see it. Your consumers will want to be happy. It's going to take away all the pain and it's going to give them all the joy. They're getting that dopamine hit. You're speaking right to them because they're going to get joy. They're going to get happiness and that is their expectation.
So understanding if you provide the chocolate cake or you provide the Tylenol, is a big thing to understand in the roadmap, to the growth and the success and the longevity of your business.

There are very hard truths that I really want to break down. Not everybody will see the potential of your business. Not everyone will see the potential of what you bring to the table. Not everyone will see your potential as an employee. Not everyone can see your potential as a startup. Not everyone will see your potential as a freelancer.
Now that we've gotten that out the way, let me also make this very clear: that person is only one person who does not see the value in what you feel is valuable.
You have to keep going. This is the part where you must simply have conviction and have the understanding while possessing the patience to trust your skillset, to trust your ability, to trust yourself, to trust that what you want will manifest in time.

How do you get people to buy more than once? You need to understand the needs and wants of how a sale actually works. People know exactly what they want to buy, or they discover what they want to buy.
Qualify versus disqualify. Disqualify in order to maximize your efforts to those who do qualify. Take joy in disqualifying because it will save you so much time, money, effort, and energy.
If you're in the value game business, you're giving value, and whatever you put out there, people are either qualifying or disqualifying themselves from taking the next action or subsequent action. The value is going to help them understand where they want to go.

It's not enough to create good content consistently. It's not enough to get awards and features and guest appearances and all these different things if the work and energy and effort and time it takes to get those things or be a part of those things or create those things does not establish and create the perception you need in order to get the result that you want.
All this effort, all this energy, all those resources, and maybe all this money being exerted into content with the intentions of building brand equity, growing your business, establishing as a thought leader, as a strong presence within your industry, your clients, or consumer base, whatever it might be, and it doesn't do that, will fail. It's not working efficiently. It's not working effectively for the intent and purposes of why you're doing it.
Remember, we got to always be creating, but creating is only part of the journey. We have to couple that with creating content that connects. It is not enough to create good content consistently.
Let's celebrate when our content:

It doesn't matter how beautiful your product, service, or messaging is, if you don't have a way to distribute it so people see it, all your effort wouldn't exist. The other thing, it's not enough for people to see it. They want to take an action. Once they take the action, you have to be able to have a way to nurture them. You have to have a process to nurture your customers before and after they buy your product or service.

This episode is the continuation and expansion of the previous episode, #DisqualifyToSell. It focuses on the mentality, mechanics, and marketing involved in effective selling. It explains why lowering your prices isn't the best strategy whether in a pandemic or beyond it. It dives into how to deal with handling rejection in the selling process and challenging the stigmas and stereotypes around selling.
As a brand or business, your positioning and presenting of what you do should feel like offering a cold glass of water to someone in the middle of the desert. They must have it. No questions asked. The sales process should be a no-brainer under the right conditions, positioning, and message.

People call you a 'boss' for paying 10K on technology, vacation, tickets watches, etc. But people call you dumb or gullible for paying 10K on strategy, website, branding, marketing, sales coaching. Your time and your business are all valuable and investing in them with bonafide guidance, tools, software support, and infrastructure, all of which will revolutionize you and your business that will reap 10x to a 100x ROI for a long time.
Honestly, it is time to stop caring about what people can't see (pertaining to your vision) or understand (pertaining to your goals) and start investing.
Are you actually doing everything that you can to help grow this business? The last time I checked, you didn't want this to be a hobby. So if you're in business, you're going to have to make money. And to make money, you're going to have to learn how to sell efficiently and effectively.
If you want this business to be successful as bad as you want to breathe, if you want to achieve that vision, if you are sick and you're tired of business not scaling, you're going to have to optimize your selling process.

We can map out the life you want to live and the business you want to build.
We'll remove anything you don't like and you can add on as you see fit.
But here's the thing: We can't build it all at once.
So think of it like a #JigsawPuzzle.
First, we need to know exactly what the final picture looks like. This is called strategy mapping.
Then all we have to do is put it together piece by piece. This is strategy execution.
Some pieces will focus on business. Some pieces will focus on marketing. Some pieces will focus on growth. Some pieces will focus on social media. Some pieces will focus on branding. Some pieces will focus on community. Some pieces will focus on mindset, and so forth.
All of these pieces together will complete the vision you so desperately want to build through your business.
You see, I have strategy solutions that focus on each one of these pieces individually but are also stackable.
In stacking these strategy solutions, we'll accelerate the completion of the vision that you want for your business and for yourself.
Learn how to put the pieces of your #JigsawPuzzle together in episode 25 of iDigress.

The first thing I hear when I hear the word 'impossible,' I hear 'bet,' 'challenge accepted.' Now that we've moved past the impossible, what were the obstacles that you say I can't do and we're going to figure it out one by one.
When I hear the word resilient, I just hear 'pulse.' When everything goes wrong, when you lose a loved one, when you're dealing with COVID, when you lose a job, when things don't go your way, you still got that pulse in your heart. That means you're literally the embodiment of resiliency. So when it's dark as, 'I don't know what,' you get a heart still beating, that is the rollout reminder, constantly. Every moment you take a breath is telling YOU are the definition of resiliency. So if this thing (heart beating) can keep going, I've got no excuse not to.

You are destined for greatness and failure is part of the journey to greatness.
Did that give you chills? Are you pumped? Are you excited?
We all want to be great. We want to be amazing. We want to be powerful. We want to feel empowered. We want to feel like we've achieved something. I want to be great. You want to be great. Everyone around you wants to be great.
But here's the thing, we sometimes don't realize what is required to be great. Greatness requires internal transformation. Transformation is the by-product of survival instincts. Survival instincts are activated through great resistance and obstacles.
We are navigating through a great season of resistance and challenges, but through that, we'll activate our survival instincts. And from that, we will transform and achieve greatness.

When you think about marketing, you'll definitely run into a cement wall because there are so many different marketing strategies out there. Marketing strategies obviously change quarterly, or annually. What worked in 2019 didn't work in 2020. And what was working in 2020, probably isn't going to work in 2021.
Even if you have a successful business, your marketing plan actually needs to change and be reviewed and updated. However, there's only so far you can plan ahead because there are so many things that skew the data, and the algorithm changes all the time.
Marketing strategies are always changing, always evolving.

On July 16th, 2020, tweets appeared in the name of some of the most high-profile and powerful figures in the world from hundreds of accounts to tens of millions of followers and all containing the same message. From the accounts of former president Barack Obama and apparent offer to double any donation of a thousand dollars sent in Bitcoin.
In the words of the tweet to give back to the community, this was the work of a hack on an enormous scale. The corporate accounts of tech giants, like Apple, Uber, Cash App, were also hit, even some of the world's richest figures including Bill Gates, Elon Musk, and Jeff Bezos. Most of the tweets were quickly deleted as Twitter began an investigation, but experts say it's possibly the most significant hack that any social media platform has seen.
Between two-factor authentication, password management, having a list of all the people who have access to all these different things, establishing proper protocols to protect their phones and IP address, and all this stuff. How easy, with all that being said, it is to just infiltrate. It wasn't just like a funny little tweet on someone. They were capturing Bitcoin, which is one of the most untraceable currencies today.
Livestreamer and social media expert Eddie Garrison called an immediate Ask The Strategy Hacker to talk about what brands can do to manage their communications, social media, email, and digital assets better to avoid being hacked and how important it is to have a crisis communication plan in place.

There are levels of failure. With failure comes the responsibility to address mistakes, address things that are in your control, and things that are not in your control.
Even if it wasn't necessarily your fault, there's always some room for improvement. There's always room for growth. If one idea doesn't work, there are millions more. If one door closes, there are millions more. The only thing that will stop you from eventually achieving the success that you want is if you stop keep moving, keep building, keep progressing, never stop trying, adjust to setbacks, and pivot accordingly.
If we just remain positive and work through challenges, most things will work out if it is meant for you. Part of the reason that we have to deal with failure and look at it through a certain lens and that sometimes the result of failure is literally because of our ignorance or because of our own doing, because we're pushing ourselves against a wall that is not meant to be broken because that is not the path we're meant to be on in the first place.

Anybody can tweet something out, but not everybody is willing to have people read out your tweets and ask you to explain in more detail. For those who don't know, I am a Twitter power user. I literally live on Twitter! Luckily for me, marketer Julie Lichtenberg gets to play the game of Ask The Strategy Hacker [Twitter Edition]. She asks quite a few questions centered around various tweets from the truth about marketers to community building to some of my biggest pet peeves in the industry, and more.
Snippets from some of the tweets are:
• "Too many focus on follower count, engagement numbers, views, likes, and shares. If you want community, it has to be natural."
• "Community plus relationships plus connection..."
• "Are you trying to grow your business, or just look like you're growing your business. "
• "Don't blame the audience for your bad content."
Let's dive into live Q and A!

With Growth Marketing, compared to Traditional Marketing, you're thinking of SEO, SEM, SERP, optimizations, creative ads, UX, UI, CX, analyzation, all that good stuff, but Growth Marketing takes it beyond that. You think of the Four P's: product, price, place, and promotion, right? It's beyond that now.
Now, with everything going on and people demanding stories and be more vulnerable, the brands, the businesses that are growing are the ones who are telling the best stories. Why is that? Because they are applying the Four E's being engagement, exclusivity, experience, and emotion. We're getting away from the Four P's and moving to the Four E's.
This is the new level of Growth Marketing. Well, Growth Marketing sounds a lot like Digital Marketing and it is. It's just Digital Marketing with the intent focus of making a profit and sustainable revenue.

You hear about the inspiring stories of Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerbeg, and others all the time. It makes you think that, if you just gathered up enough courage and jumped in the deep end, then you would achieve the same outcome. I've experienced the same feelings. This is an example of survivorship bias.
Here's what you don't read or hear about a lot: You rarely hear the story of the person who quits their well-paying job, takes out a massive loan and goes bankrupt. But guess what? It happens all the time. Businesses don't die with a roar. They usually die with a whimper quietly when no one is looking.
There's risk in starting a business. There's risk in telling your story. Because the outcome may not be what you originally thought, and that's a hard pill to swallow.
People telling tall tales of success from the stage talk about all these amazing things. They may tell you, "Yeah. I failed five times, 10 times, 25 times. But on the 26th time, I made it." They skim through that period of failure. That period could have been one year. That period had been 10 years. That period could have been 45 years of sacrifice.
That's what I want to talk about in this episode: Risk. We don't talk about risk enough when it comes to business. We don't talk about risk enough when it comes to marketing. So, I think it's time we talk about it. This is episode number nine, #Risk

It's imperative that you don't approach marketing as a broadcast. You need systems, strategies, structures, processes, techniques, and tactics, all intertwined to get the results that you want.
In trying to achieve the results that you want, you need to start with reverse engineering.
You see, we need to analyze all of this and put it together to create certain benchmarks and milestones. You need to know where you are the strongest and where you are the weakest. You can then start the outline to create a strategy to fortify and implement a system. And under that system, add structure and analysis and put all of that together to move things forward.

The reason behind your brand's existence matters more than it ever has. If you do not define your purpose, you may have a few winning months, quarters, and maybe even years. But you will not win the race. At least not with today's consumers. Let your purpose be the engine for your growth.

Perfection is an illusion.
Pursuing it is both dysfunctional and quite frankly, a waste of time. There is no perfect individual. There is no perfect business plan. There is no perfect strategy. There is no perfect anything. Stop trying to be the perfect business. Stop trying to have the perfect strategy before you launch something.
You cannot anticipate every outcome, every variable, or every obstacle before you move forward. Pursue progress, not perfection.
In this episode of iDigress, it's all about why you should let go of the perfection mindset and instead embrace the "progress over perfection mindset". Perfection is a waste of time. Did you know you’re more likely to achieve your set goals when you pursue progress and not perfection?
It is important to understand that you cannot anticipate every outcome or obstacle and the best way to deal with them is to have a realistic and flexible strategy in whatever you do. Listen in to learn how to take action and apply the ‘progress not perfection’ concept in your marketing strategy to see the change you want to see.
“We will never be perfect, but we can all make progress.”
What You Will Learn:
• How to improve 1% of what you do every day and in 70 days you’ll be twice as good as you’re today.
• How to figure out a flexible and nimble strategy for your business with wisdom.
• Having the right mindset to perform well in business will in turn help you hit your bottom-line.
• Learn to make a realistic plan that’s fueled by optimism, passion, and community.
• The power of focusing on the community while being genuine and authentic.

Position = Power
One of the hardest things Troy has had to learn in business was how to position himself. Many people who want to elevate their business to a sustainable level with a more profitable structure need to position themselves in a very different way. Simply accepting money for the product or service you provide can make you a profit, but does it make you profitable?
On this episode of iDigress, host Troy Sandidge breaks down the significance of these questions:
Is the time you’re putting in worth the result (or profit) of your work?
How much do you actually need to charge and to market yourself for people to buy your product or service so that you become sustainable and profitable?
Many of us are conditioned to price our products and services at a lower price so that people will buy them, but this doesn’t take you very far.
Do you think of your business as a premium brand?
How much is your brand truly worth?
You need to position yourself and your brand in the most ideal ways, from positioning your message to attract the right audience to position your business on the platforms that complement your strengths. You must amplify who you are, where to find you, and the value you provide. Be magnetic and pull your audience in to interact with you.
What problem(s) do you solve and who typically needs those problems solved?
Once you have the answer to that, then you can execute your positioning strategy!
Position. Amplify. Magnify. This will give you the results you desire. Remember, you don’t have to be #1. You just have to focus on your audience and creating and retaining those relationships with them.
