Rev. Steven Tyra
Steven Tyra is a “son” of Centerpoint – he found Christ here, his family are members of Centerpoint, and he has served on staff here as our Director of College Ministries. Steven has a B.A. in English from U.C. Davis, a M.A. in Theology, a Th.M. in Church History from Fuller Theological Seminary. Steven is also an ordained Teaching Elder in the EPC as well as a previous Associate Pastor at New Hope EPC, Kent, Washington. He is presently a teaching assistant and Ph.D. student at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. His studies focus on the Reformation and in particular the work and theology of John Calvin.
