John Cook: "It was about this time last year, it was a Tuesday and after supper. The kids had helped with the dishes and off they went and Beth says to me, she says, "I noticed you came back from your parents" I said "ya, I was there this afternoon". She says "Oh, ya, I know when you come back from your parents because you tend to micro manage the dinner table a little more than usual". I said "What does that mean?" and she says ... VBS Leaders meeting There's only 3 weeks left until March Break Camp! Pastor Lena is looking for some volunteers who are passionate about seeing children deepen their relationship with Jesus! If you're interested in helping with March Break Camp this year, meet Pastor Lena after the service next Sunday for a brief information meeting.
To get us ready for March Break Camp we're going to be having a supply drive for some materials! This supply drive helps us to keep the cost for our VBS down and allows us to put on an excellent event for the children. For those hand outs with supply needs listed, please see one of the ushers or visit the back table.
Restore Worship Night - This worship night is a time to gather and spend more time in musical worship. We will sing, dance, shout and pray together here in the sanctuary at 630pm! - Sunday Feb 25 - 6:30pm not 7pm! as the bulletin says

Financial update from our Elders Board Chair, Kirk Kelly
- Our Congregational Meeting will be held right after the service.
- Reminder - Get a new bulletin. Still has the tear off card (other ways of connecting with us – seat back cards, website, app, in person)
- Jingle Bell Blitz- This is our annual Christmas season event to help fill the Newmarket Food Pantry. We set up a donation area with a truck outside the No Frills starting around 8am. What happens is that we ask that shoppers that day to buy something extra and donate it to us on their way out. Plan to join us by coming to help us fill the food bank. Last year we collected 4000 pounds worth of food and it all get donated to the Newmarket Food Pantry.
- Jaffray Offering. We collected over $600, so thank you for you donations.
