Today we will hear an offering of wisdom from one of our spirit bridges Elisabeth.
Elisabeth shared this journey in 2017 during a series called “Restoring your Animist Ancestry”. Her vision contains challenging imagery, with a potent message at the end that can have deep meaning for us now, in 2024, and beyond.
As you listen - do your best to keep some awareness on the words being spoken, and to allow the imagery to play out in your mind. You might even close your eyes - if it is safe to do so for you at this time.
The scene and sentiment described by Elisabeth is difficult, and has been within human cultures since the beginning of human time. This sense of separation is one of our greatest challenges, and our ability to find commonality is one of our greatest gifts.
Notice how you feel in your body as certain words are spoken. Notice any thoughts or feelings that come up for you in response to the things being said and the imagery that is being illustrated here.
Journeying is a powerful practice where the Journeyer is receiving and interpreting - or translating, an abstract form of wisdom. This Journey is offered in the spirit of gratitude, trust, and connection with all beings of the Earth and beyond.

Welcome to the 4th episode of the Web of Life Animist Summit Podcast. Consider this 70 minute episode as a journey through insights of these Web of Life ministers in the areas of their ministries and lived experiences related to the theme of the summit "Navigating our Onward Journey".
Our request is that you set judgement and the critic within aside and simply listen to each voice and their heartfelt ideas, storytelling and blessings. Each segment is less than 10 minutes, most have been recorded in October 2023, others recorded since 2020.
Subjects addressed by multigenerational ministers include: Practicing land acknowledgment, the oneness of Animism, building personal confidence, queer wisdom, detribalized in-between blessing, protection for trans women of color, post-pandemic isolation, tending grief, 2nd generation holocaust survivor, embodied guided meditation,energy, the 6th extinction, animist pagans, strength in adversity, becoming an elder, animist children, healing parents, end of life joy, we all belong.
Between each segment you will hear a double beat. The episode ends with a poem Quynn wrote 20 years ago and recorded in the early days of digital.

We all have been traumatized and colonized. Our minds, bodies, spirits and souls have been imprinted and damaged by colonization over many generations. It takes all of us to root out and transformed the belief systems, the ideas and the actions that fuel white supremacy, as well as male supremacy and human supremacy. White supremacy is a toxic part of colonization. We have all been imprinted and we must all heal from it. We are ready for this work. The only way to move forward as a people is to decolonize our minds and hearts and actions. In this episode, Quynn shares two segments. the first one, called White Man Names, she recorded in the early 2000s. For the two summers of 2008 and 2009, I spent many days in Nature. No electricity. No city. No house. It was quiet day after day. In these months outside I quickly began hearing voices in my head, poets of rhyming stories of Spiritual Seekers. I wrote them down and recorded them.
