In Kellen's Petty Talk Show, I interview anyone and everyone I give a shit about. Whether that's actors from films I adore or bands that I scream in my car and everything in between. There are no limits to this podcast and it will always be constantly changing episode to episode. Hope you enjoy the ride!
Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon (2006) is a beloved cult horror film that celebrates its 20th Anniversary this year. With that great milestone came the news of a long-awaited sequel, Behind the Mask II: The Return of Leslie Vernon, which begins shooting this Fall. After the original debuted at SXSW in '06, word of mouth spread like wildfire and a new horror icon was born. Genre favorites Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street) and Zelda Rubenstein (Poltergeist) rounded out the cast as well as the late Scott Wilson (In Cold Blood), who gave a great performance as Leslie Vernon's mentor "Eugene". A direct sequel was originally planned, but unfortunately didn't pan out due to financial restraints that ultimately did not provide an adequate budget for the project.
For many years, a sequel had been teased, rumored and gossiped, but now it can officially be yelled from the rooftops - LESLIE VERNON IS BACK! At a sold-out screening in LA on April 9th, "Vernonites" flocked to see the film on the big screen to celebrate its 20th Anniversary. There was also a Cast and Crew Q+A featuring writer David J. Stievie, director Scott Glosserman, actors Robert Englund, Nathan Baesel, Angela Goethals and many more in attendance! At the end of the discussion, a surprise video played to the crowd, officially announcing the brand new sequel as a locked production. They then talked a bit about the Kickstarter campaign and how they hoped to secure as much additional financial backing as they can, but how they would only be able to get there with help from the fans.
With a launch date on April 22nd a goal set for $20,000, there was a little time to spread the word and build momentum. When the campaign officially began, they raised the goal in 9 minutes. In a few short weeks, they have far surpassed all expectations, with over $320,000 raised and a few days left in the fundraiser. Not only will Robert Englund be returning, but also the rest of the core cast and crew will be as well including Angela Goethals, who you may recognize as "Linnie McCallister" from Home Alone (1990). There is also rumored to be some new cameos from other genre-favorite actors as well, which will be announced soon. Writer David J. Stievie is back with another phenomenal script and is joining forces once again with director Scott Glosserman.

Daniel Pearl, A.S.C. is best known for his cinematography work on various horror films including The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974). He has worked on many feature films, over 400 music videos and more than 250 commercials. Some other notable films that he shot include the remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003), Invaders from Mars (1986), Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007), Friday the 13th (2009), The Boy (2016) and Mom and Dad (2017).
Some of the most notable music videos he worked on include Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean", Guns 'N Roses' "November Rain" and Meatloaf's "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That). He won the first MTV cinematography award for "Every Breath You Take" by The Police. He's worked with a record amount of artists in the industry including Billy Idol, Bette Midler, The Go-Go's, Mariah Carey, Ed Sheeran and Usher. Pearl filmed the Michael Bay-directed Meatloaf video, "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)", which he cites as "one of my personal all-time favorite projects ... I think the cinematography is pure, and it tells a story about the song." Michael Bay would later produce the 2003 Chainsaw remake and their collaborations continued on for years.
More films in Pearl's catalogue include Zapped! (1982), Pathfinder (2007) and The Apparition (2012). He worked with Larry Cohen on a number of projects including Full Moon High (1981), It's Alive III: Island of the Alive (1987) and A Return to Salem's Lot (1987).
Bart Mixon was Born in Houston, Texas, Mixon began his special make-up effects career working on local independent productions, including the 1984 thriller Courage, starring, co-written and produced by Ronny Cox. He eventually became a make-up lab technician and on-set makeup artist on more high profile productions, including A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985), The Supernaturals (1986) and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986). Perhaps more notably, he worked on The Terminator (1984) and was part of the "Robot Team" on RoboCop (1987).
In 1987, Mixon moved to Los Angeles, California, where he supervised special make-up and creature effects for such projects as Fright Night Part 2 (1988), Pet Sematary (1989), Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990), Predator 2 (1990) and Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1992). He was also the creature effects supervisor on Stephen King's It (1990); as such, he was responsible for designing, sculpting and applying the make-up for the Pennywise character.
After working on the Klownzilla hands on Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988), Bart worked with the Chiodo Bros. once again as the Shop Foreman during the production of Ernest Scared Stupid (1991) where he supervised the creation of the trolls! He returned to do makeup FX work on Pet Sematary Two (1992).
In 1994, Mixon entered into a partnership with fellow Star Trek make-up artist Earl Ellis to create the make-up effects studio Mixon & Ellis FX (or ME FX). Over the next four years, the studio created make-up and prosthetics for such films as Fargo (1996), Men in Black (1997) and Rushmore (1998). Mixon closed down the studio in 1998 and has since worked as a freelance artist on films such as How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000), Planet of the Apes (2001), Men in Black II (2002), The Ring (2002), Hellboy (2004) and Collateral (2004). Mixon also was the prosthetic make-up artist for The Thing on Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). He was also a key prosthetic artist on X-Men: The Last Stand (2006) and was a make-up artist on Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006). In addition, he worked on the Academy Award-nominated prosthetic make-up for Norbit (2007).

Liam Ebers is the vocalist of Buffalo, NY pop punk band, Autoignition. New EP due out this Spring. Go stream "This is Moving Forward" now!
Kris Ward is the lead vocalist/guitarist of the emo band sports. from Boston, MA. The group is best known for their full-length record, "Demon Daze", which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. To mark the celebration, Broken Rim Records has released a limited edition 2xLP vinyl release with a remastered version of the original album, plus never released demos, acoustic tracks and remixes. 100 of the copies feature a “Mythic Rare” Silver Variant, which have been randomly mixed in with all the orders. Those copies feature foil Inner gatefold artwork and numbering.

Joe Burke is the writer/director of Burt (2025), starring Oliver Cooper and Burt Berger. Shot on a $7,000 budget in just 7 days with a 3-person crew, the story follows Burt, a 69-year old street musician living with Parkinson’s, and Sammy, a wayward young man from New York who shows up with the bombshell news that he is Burt’s long lost son.
The film premiered at Cinequest in San Jose to critical acclaim including the award for Best Narrative Feature: Comedy. It later won Best Picture and Best Acting Ensemble awards at the Phoenix Film Festival. On May 3rd, it had its LA premiere at the Fine Arts theater in Beverly Hills, which drew a packed crowd. Executive Producer David Gordon Green moderated a panel that consisted of Burt, Steven Levy, Oliver, composer Tim Rutili and other cast/crew.
Joe Burke has also made a plethora of short films that can be found on his YouTube channel. One of the shorts, Another Cancer Movie (2013), features Burt Berger in a supporting role. Fast forward to Burt (2025) - Burke and Cooper crafted a film loosely based on Burt’s real life, shining a light and keeping the focus on Burt’s incredible character and not his diagnosis. The decision was made to portray the film in black and white, which adds great depth to the film’s already heavy emotional value.

Francis Galluppi is the writer/director of The Last Stop in Yuma County (2024). After years of touring in various punk bands and an accident that led to a broken wrist, Francis decided it was time for a career shift. During a six month healing process, he picked up his camera and began shooting videos around the house with his wife. Almost immediately, he fell in love with the creative process and started to gather his friends to make his first short film, High Desert Hell (2019). Utilizing locations from local sources and keeping budget costs to a minimum, he completed his film for around $1,000. After this first successful outing that was on a learn-as-you-go basis and with a new script penned, Francis packed his gear and headed to Oregon to shoot his second short, The Gemini Project (2020).
While neither of the shorts gathered major industry attention, they certainly sparked some interest. After a lengthy process of optioning and failing to gather necessary funds, a house was sold in favor of the budget for The Last Stop in Yuma County (2024). Before long, a stacked cast of genre-film crowd favorites were attached to the project including Jim Cummings (Thunder Road, The Wolf of Snow Hollow), Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator, From Beyond), Alex Essoe (Starry Eyes, Doctor Sleep), Sam Huntington (Detroit Rock City, Not Another Teen Movie), Jocelin Donahue (The House of the Devil, Insidious: Chapter 2) and Richard Brake (Mandy, Batman Begins).
The film premiered to a packed audience at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas and received rave reviews from moviegoers. Sam Raimi was so impressed with the film that he hand selected Francis to direct the latter of two upcoming Evil Dead installments. Aside from all the film work, he has also shot a handful of music videos for indie rock band, Mt. Joy including "Strangers", "Bathroom Light" and "Evergreen". He's also an avid collector of physical media and screen-used movie props including a piece of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) house.

Greg Lamberson is a writer/director and producer residing in Buffalo, New York. He is most well known for directing the cult horror flick, Slime City (1988) and its sequel, Slime City Massacre (2010). He's made 10 features in his career so far including the upcoming werewolf movie, Frenzy Moon (2026). Other notable entries in his catolog include Killer Rack (2015), Johnny Gruesome (2018) and the underrated shot-on video classic, Naked Fear (1999). His most recent film, Guns of Eden (2022) premiered at the Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival in 2022 and was successfully funded by almost 400 backers on Indiegogo. Greg also had the privilege to direct genre icon, Craig Sheffer (Nightbreed, Some Kind of Wonderful) in Widow's Point (2019). Sheffer plays "Thomas Livingston", an author who gets haunted by evil spirits at a lighthouse while doing a publicity stunt for his newest book.
Aside from his personal career, Greg is the creator and runner of Amazing Fantasy Fest, a Buffalo film festival that showcases the best independent Horror, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Action, Animation, and Experimental films on the planet. AFF runs from Friday, September 13th-Thursday, September 19th at the Dipson Amherst Theater in Buffalo. Programming includes new films and filmmaker Q&As, plus special programming exclusively for VIP and Full Fantasy Pass Holders. Greg's wife, Tamar and daughter, Kaelin run Valkyrie International Film Festival, which runs from Friday, May 30th - Tuesday, June 3rd. VIFF is an annual gathering that shines a spotlight on films created by women, and to advance the cause of women in film. VIFF is an event where female artists support each other's work.
Greg is also an acclaimed novelist with many published books including Black Creek (2016), Carnage Road (2011) and Cheap Scares! Low Budget Horror Filmmakers Share Their Secrets (2008).

Adam Marcus is the director of Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993). A brand-new documentary on the film, Hearts of Darkness: The Making of the Final Friday (2025) dives into the fandom of the controversial ninth installment in the Friday the 13th franchise. Adam co-wrote Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013) with his wife Debra Sullivan and Kirsten Elms, which went to #1 at the box office, beating Django: Unchained (2013). He also directed and co-wrote Secret Santa (2018), a hilarious and bloody story about a family on the verge of destruction.
When Adam was 11, he worked as a production assistant on Friday the 13th (1980). At age 13, he was an editing apprentice on the raunchy sex comedy, Spring Break (1983). When he turned 15, he started operating his own theater company in Connecticut, putting on productions that he directed & produced himself. After taking film courses at NYU and being given advanced credit, Adam moved to Los Angeles to work on feature films. He co-produced My Boyfriend's Back (1993) and then upon successfully completing a directors test with New Line Cinema, was handed the keys to one of the biggest franchises in horror history.
On May 20th, Arrow Video will be releasing a brand new 4K transfer of Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993) featuring a plethora of special features and a brand new audio commentary with Steve "Uncle Creepy" Barton and Michael Felsher.
Dima Barch is a Russian genre filmmaker residing in Los Angeles. His films Dead End (2022) and The Power of the Strike (2024) debuted in the short blocks at Beyond Fest to rave reviews amongst the crowds. He was recently named a recipient of the George A. Romero film fellowship, with a mentorship from Carter Smith, director of The Ruins (2008).
Before becoming a filmmaker, Dima was heavily involved in film journalism for over nine years, attending red carpet premieres and writing articles on movies. He's currently in-development on his first features with original screenplays that he wrote.

Ed Douglas is a visual effects artist and supervisor that worked on Longlegs (2024) and The Monkey (2025), two films that quickly took the box office by storm. His work and collaboration with Oddfellows Entertainment has taken the possibilities of VFX to new heights, creating some of the sickest kill scenes to grace the silver screen in recent memory.
In his earlier years, he had worked for EA (Electronic Arts) on video games like Mass Effect 2, Skate and the Need for Speed franchise. He even offered his talents on Ed, Edd n Eddy on Cartoon Network.

Tyler Williams is the guitarist of Hamilton, ON metalcore band Counterparts. Originally joining the band on bass in 2017, Tyler shifted to guitar and has been laying down absolutely nasty riffage ever since. The band joined the "Metalcore Dropouts" tour supporting The Devil Wears Prada in 2023, which was so successful that they added a second leg in the winter. Their most recent EP, "Heaven Let Them Die" has been circulating and getting a lot of buzz. The band calls the effort "honest, harsh and without restraint”.
Catch them this February/March on a full U.S. headliner with support from Pain of Truth, Malevolence and Foreign Hands. They'll be in Japan this May for the Bloodaxe Festival and Australia this June for a few dates with support from Dying Wish. Merchandise can be ordered directly from the Pure Noise Records web store.

Anthony Cousins is the director of the critically acclaimed found footage film, Frogman (2023). He's directed many short films and segments for Scare Package (2019) and Scare Package II: Rad Chad's Revenge (2022) on Shudder.
Jackson Stewart is the director and co-writer of the IFC horror flick, Beyond the Gates. He also directed the short Stereo-Vision, which played Beyond Fest in 2024 and features a performance by genre-favorite actress Jill Schoelen (Popcorn, The Stepfather). A lifelong fan of the work of Stuart Gordon (Re-Animator, From Beyond), Jackson found himself working alongside his hero doing script coverage and other collaborations. He also wrote for an episode of the popular hit-series Supernatural titled "Frontierland".

Jono Diener was the drummer of Michigan-based punk rock band The Swellers from 2002-2015. Since the group's departure, Jono has found himself taking part in many different ventures. Being a hired gun for a few years for bands like The Early November and Versus the World, he eventually joined No Trigger and toured all over the world with them. He also took a break from being behind the kit to fronting the band Baggage with bass and vocal duties taking center stage. He co-founded Rootless Coffee in 2020 providing ethically sourced roasting with a variety of intricate flavors for customers to choose from. He's also an acclaimed comic book artist and an avid runner. His newest band, 84 Tigers recently opened for Nada Surf and released their debut full-length record, "Time in the Lighthouse" in 2022.
Emily Hagins is the director of Sorry About the Demon (2022), My Sucky Teen Romance (2011), Grow Up, Tony Philips (2013) and Coin Heist (2017). She also directed the opening segment, "Cold Open" for the anthology horror flick, Scare Package (2019). Writing her first film, Pathogen (2006) at age 10 and filming it at 12, she was able to get an early kickstart on filmmaking that most don't get to experience.
Anthony Lemus and Erik Larsen play in the aggressive Southern California pop punk band Stateside. We talk about their upcoming tour with Bearings, their EP "It's What We Do" and their Twinks Across America video series. We also get some insight about their upcoming full length record, due out on Pure Noise in 2025.

André Gower played "Sean" in Fred Dekker's cult classic, The Monster Squad (1987). A film that has had a magnificent resurgence since being shown to a sold-out crowd at the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Texas during Easter weekend in 2006. Back in 2018, André helped bring the Wolfman's Got Nards documentary to life, a film that proves just how powerful the fan base behind this timeless piece of 80's cinema really is.
Starting his acting career at age 5 after following in the steps of his older sister, André also managed to be in an ET Atari commercial and many great television shows including The Twilight Zone, The A-Team and T.J. Hooker.
Justin Amen is a singer songwriter based out of LA. His solo music is under the name Jay the Owl, but he's also the bassist of the band @mexicocityheartbreak who have been consistently touring and playing shows. With his humble beginnings playing in bands with his family members and performing solo at coffee shops, Justin has continued to pave the way towards a well rounded and versatile music career with a vast range of sound. Matt is the leading film programmer at Be Kind Video, LA's favorite new video store. Be Kind has an incredible DVD and Blu-Ray selection for customers to enjoy as well as VHS for sale. Their inventory is constantly expanding and one of Matt's jobs is to continuously replenish the supply with awesome new and rare titles. His other job is setting up some of the coolest and most intimate in-store event's you can find in the LA area. He recently hosted a screening of Sleepaway Camp (1983) with the films' star Felissa Rose doing a live commentary. He also just had horror master William Lustig to do a Q+A for his 80's cult classic, Maniac (1980).
His profound love for collecting VHS has led him to orchestrating various tape swaps with his next event being on Sunday, February 4th right in the shop. That'll be taking place between 1-4pm so be sure to roll out for it if you're looking to add to your collection!
On February 10th, Kevin Tenney will be stopping in to do a Q+A screening for his film Night of the Demons (1988). Tickets are on sale tomorrow at noon and will sell out fast!

Nick Vance is a film projectionist at the Aero, the Egyptian and the Los Feliz 3 theaters in Los Angeles. He's also a vocalist/guitarist and has been in a number of groups over the last couple decades including Inspite, Kent State and Suspect. His newest project, Double Life, just put out their first single, "Indifferent Stars" from their forthcoming debut EP. He also used to run a blog and record label under the name Paranoid Futures.
JV is a solo artist from Cleveland, OH operating under the name The House of Wills. Their new EP "the house always wins" is available now on all streaming platforms and has been generating local buzz around the Ohio music scene.
The DIY approach to recording, songwriting and playing shows has given JV the freedom to really roll with the punches and enjoy the creative process. With stripped down acoustics and a gritty, yet melodic vocal style, JV's tunes have that heartfelt originality that listeners look for in a solo artist.

Elliott Fullam is a singer/songwriter and actor based out of New Jersey. He recently released his sophomore record, "End of Ways", which has been getting rave reviews in the indie music scene. His work ethic and DIY-approach has propelled him to not only quickly progress as an artist, but to also reach and connect on a personal level with his audience.
Elliott played "Jonathan" in Terrifier 2 (2022), which went on to be the box office success story in the horror industry this past year. He also voices "Sal" on the television series Get Rolling with Otis and plays "Junior" in the upcoming horror flick, The Pitchfork Retreat (2024).
Before film and music ultimately took up a lot of his free time, Elliott was an interviewing prodigy on his family's YouTube channel, Little Punk People. He would interview his favorite musicians, actors and other kinds of artists including James Hetfield (Metallica), Matthew Lillard (Scream, Scooby-Doo), Phil Anselmo (Pantera, Down) and the late and great Riley Gale (Power Trip).

Sunny Suljic is an actor/musician/professional skateboarder in Los Angeles. His film roles include Jonah Hill's debut Mid 90's (2018), Yorgos Lanthimos's The Killing of a Sacred Deer and Eli Roth's The House with a Clock in Its Walls (2018). He also voiced Atreus in the God of War video games.
In the last couple years, Sunny has realized his profound love for making music and has been churning out tracks consistently. Back in July, he released his EP, "Wishing You Well" that features one of his most dynamic tracks, "Lowkey". He's been continuously honing his sound and has many plans in the works for new material as well as performing shows, creating music videos and incorporating his brand new clothing brand within the visuals.

Jay Trovato is the guitarist of Rochester shoe gaze band, Bad Bloom. He is also the owner/operator of Arche Woodshop. Jay and his wife Kate started this band back in 2019 and during the COVID outbreak, they ultimately decided to move out of the big city to take their musical pursuits elsewhere. They've been consistently honing their sound, ripping gigs and preparing world domination.

James Balsamo is an American filmmaker that has made over 100 films with his production company Acid Bath Productions. Known for his schlocky b-movie style humor and aesthetic, James has managed to make his project on the cheap while still raking in the greatest cameos to sweeten the scenes. Weird Al Yankovic, Tommy Chong, Oderus Urungus (GWAR), Andy Dick, Lloyd Kaufman, Tom Savini and so many other legendary people have appeared in James films at one point or another. He continues to make indie filmmaking a fun career path for himself and everyone he brings on board. The atmosphere on his sets is contagious and you'll get a sense of that just by viewing his work.

Joey Chiaramonte is the vocalist of Long Island hardcore band KOYO and the bassist of Typecaste. During COVID, KOYO blew up unexpectedly and they've been touring pretty much non stop since the release of their "Drives Out East" EP. The band has recently signed to Pure Noise Records and plan to release their debut full length record in September, which will feature 11 brand new tracks that are sure to be heavy hitters. Jon Fraser the vocalist of Northbound, a Florida rock band that combines elements of pop punk, emo and and other genres that muster up the catchiest of songs. His recent move to LA has thrown him into a whirlwind that he claims to be enjoying. While working on the final edits for a new record, Jon has been on a creative path to make up for lost time the last couple years. He's considering doing comedy and is actively working on bits, he's developing a podcast of his own and is working on playing shows again!

Jon Simmons is a musician from Pennsylvania whose newest project @itscreeks mixes gloom with groove to the fullest extent. He was formerly the frontman of @balanceandcomposure , a staple of the Pennsylvania music scene and a goated indie/rock and emo band in the hearts of many.
Jon moved to Los Angeles about 5 years back to follow career pursuits as a solo venture and has continued to still grind to this day. He discusses his trepidations and anxiety he faced within the early days of studio recording, how Vinnie Caruana of the Movielife made a major impact on the band and a frightening van accident that they miraculously survived.

Sarah Voigt is most known for playing "Barb" in the box-office smash horror movie, Terrifier 2 (2022) that became an overnight success on its theatrical run back in October. She started her career modeling and eventually moved into doing commercial work until fully transitioning into film and television in 2019. She lives bi-coastal by splitting her time in New Orleans and New York, constantly grinding and working towards that next great role.
In our conversation, she had so much great insight and funny stories to share including a hilarious dance club story, not knowing the full details of the Terrifier 2 script before seeing the final product for herself and how her mom constantly teases her with mashed potato memes!

Marty York is most known for his portrayal as "Yeah Yeah" in the classic 90's film, The Sandlot (1993), which is widely regarded as one of the greatest sports films of all time. 2023 marks the 30th Anniversary of the film and Marty is hopeful that the cast will soon get the call for a brand-new reunion that we're hoping will involve a brand new project with all the OG's.
We talk about Marty's near-fatal car accident in 1997, how his mom provided the horses for Army of Darkness (1992), what really went on in the Sandlot treehouse and so much more!

Steve Barton is a film producer from NY who also happened to co-found Dread Central. His life has been a constant ever-changing dance for success and he's been steadily progressing throughout all the pitfalls that tried to break up his course. He's been an editor, a writer, an interviewer, a critic and a colleague. His profound love for horror and its community has always kept him hard at work at numerous projects at any given moment, but his support to the indie-filmmaking art form couldn't possibly go unnoticed.
Terrifier 2 has now reached $10 million at the box office on a $250,000 budget and Steve is the man that made the deal with Cinedigm to help get it distributed to all your local theaters. We chatted about the accidental marketing that took place, which he and the rest of the Terrifier crew had nothing to do with, and how this boost in social media engagement led to a world-wide Art the Clown cult. Steve also gives great industry advice to hopeful filmmakers and why you should never have backup plans if you're wishing to focus on your dream passion.

Matty Arsenault was the vocalist of A Loss For Words, a Massachusetts-based pop punk band that released a handful of studios albums and toured the world with bands like The Wonder Years, This Time Next Year, Transit and Fireworks. For over 15 years, the band stayed active touring relentlessly and churning out records, acoustic EP's, a cover record and everything in between. While not completely broken up, A Loss For Words comes out of the woodwork every now and again to play one-off shows when they feel necessary.
Nowadays, you can catch Matty doing vocals in a brand-new hardcore band called The World. With a new genre still comes familiar territory. Matty is absolutely crushing this new project as well as managing other artists in his spare time, which he likes to say, he doesn't have much of. Matty lives in Nashville now and although you can almost always catch him grinding on the road, rather than at his crib, he's enjoying life to the fullest and loving every minute.

Grady Allen is the lead vocalist of Anxious, a band based out of Connecticut that is a hardcore/punk hybrid blending many different musical influences including pop punk and emo undertones. This group has been having their biggest year yet with the release of their debut full-length record, "Little Green House". Recently on tour with bands like Bayside, Knuckle Puck, Boston Manor, Koyo, Thrice and so many other heavy hitters, Anxious has proven that they have a place in this scene.
With their unique sound and stellar stage performance, the band has been given many great opportunities to tour and continue world domination. With more new music on the way, some milestone shows at Sound and Fury this month and a fall tour with Oso Oso in the fall, the rest of the year for Anxious is looking to be slam packed.

Pat Kennedy is the vocalist/guitarist of Light Years and the guitarist of No Pressure. He's toured the world many times and continues to push the envelop with his musical capabilities. He put out three full lengths and three EPs with Light Years that gave him countless opportunities to play shows with his bandmates.
In the end of summer 2020 when COVID was ruining everyone's lives without warning, a new project called No Pressure dropped onto the scene. This group, consisting of Pat Kennedy on guitar (Light Years), Harry Corrigan on drums (Regulate) and Parker Cannon on the mic (The Story So Far) has already surpassed all expectations and then some. Their shows have that chaotic energy that most bands yearn for and every release so far has exceptionally slapped. Pete Dowdalls is an American vocalist that sang for the band This Time Next Year from 2006-2012 and has since returned to music in a new project called Greyed Out, which features four of the groups' original members. Greyed Out will take the stage for the very first time on Friday, April 8th at the X Bar in Cupertino, California. This will be Pete's first time performing in over a decade.
While on an extended exit from the music scene, Pete hitched it to China to teach English to children and get a much needed culture shock away from life on the road. After a year, he moved to Los Angeles to reconnect with old friends and eventually made is way back to his roots in Northern California.
One of his interests aside from making music is fishing and he's very passionate about it. He's also an avid fish tank connoisseur and puts a lot of focus towards marine biology.

Since the band has recently disbanded, Sterling relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his career in producing and songwriting for other artists. He continues to play live shows as the bassist for Florida outfit Northbound and they have a big show coming up at So What! Music Festival this spring.

Brett Jones is the lead guitarist of Michigan-based pop-punk band Fireworks. Touring and recording endlessly for an entire decade, Fireworks went on an indefinite hiatus in 2015 with no sights set on a return. In 2019, the band announced their forthcoming album, "Higher Lonely Power", which due to COVID and the attached scheduling issues, has pushed the release date into the unknown. Now, it's pretty safe to say, that a new record from these gents is finally going to be on its way.
Brett is also about to release a brand new music project called Supergloom that will be dropping material in the coming weeks. Be sure to follow him @badcutsforbadpeople and @supergloommusic to say up-to-date on what's going on. Also, keep an eye on @fireworksmi as there is bound to be some gold plastering their social media at some point this year as well!

John Karyus is a fellow Buffalo actor who has been churning out great character roles since the 90's. He's most known for his work in Poultrygiest: Night of the Chicken Dead (2006), V/H/S 2 (2013) and Killjoy Goes to Hell (2012).

Daeg Faerch is an American actor mostly known for his work as young "Michael Myers" in Rob Zombie's Halloween (2007). He has since worked in many other iconic projects over the years including Hancock (2008), American Horror Story: Double Feature (2021), Killer Therapy (2019) amongst countless others. Aside from being known for his filmic endeavors, Daeg has been mainly focused on his other passion, making music. Daeg is a rapper known under his MC title GreatDaeg. Sandy Johnson is best known for playing "Judith Myers" in John Carpenter's classic Halloween (1978). She started her career as a Playboy model and was the cover girl of the June 1974 issue. She even garnered some various roles in a few hilarious raunchy comedies including H.O.T.S. (1979) and Gas Pump Girls (1979). Out of the public eye for 40 years, Sandy had gone off the grid and moved back to Texas where she eventually had a career teaching science to kids with special needs.
After a very long search, Sandy was found by her current agent, who has gotten her onto the convention circuit scene, giving her a whole new life all over again. Today, Sandy enjoys meeting fans of the movie all around the world at different shows and is incredibly thankful for the love she receives on a daily basis.

Kathleen Kinmont is famously known for the horror films Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers and Bride of Re-Animator as well as her character Cheyenne Phillips on the popular 90’s television show, Renegade. She’s also appeared in a lot of fun, obscure action flicks in the earlier portion of her career and has gone on to wear many hats in the entertainment industry from being a producer, writer and a director.
Kathleen has a brand-new book out called “I Should’ve Been Nicer to Quentin Tarantino” available now on Amazon, Kindle and Audible if you prefer the audio version. The book is fantastic and touches on so many different themes and experiences throughout her life and it truly can not be missed. She discusses her anti-bullying efforts, running into Johnny Depp at a bar, turning down Quentin Tarantino in her acting class at age 16 when he wanted to do a kissing scene with her and so many more snippets of greatness, your head will explode.
If you’re an LA native or would like to make a fun little road trip to meet Kathleen, she’ll be doing a signing at the Illiad book store in North Hollywood on July 22nd from 4-6pm to discuss the book and host a signing, so come on out! Pat Casey and Josh Miller are the dream team everyone wish they could be with their best friend. They've come so far in their career from making silly videos in college to writing the screenplay for SONIC THE HEDGEHOG (2020). Josh also runs a very successful horror event series in Los Angeles called Friday Night Frights. He's hosted so many great screenings with countless celeb appearances and brilliant panel discussions. Josh and Pat have been green-lit to write the sequel to SONIC and are working on more than most can handle. We enjoyed talking about their less favorable or known-about past work and it was an absolute riot.

Natanya Ross is one of the most notable child actresses of the 90's decade, most famous for her portrayal of Robyn Russo on The Secret World of Alex Mack. Natanya is originally from New York and moved out to Los Angeles with her mother to pursue her acting career after landing the role of Laura on the ABC series Billy which aired on the TGIF line up. Natanya went on to star in many films and television shows with memorable appearances on ER, Beverly Hills 90210, Step by Step, Boy Meets World and films such as The Babysitters Club, Bellyfruit, ShadowZone's Undead Express and Freaky Friday. Natanya won 2 Youth in Film awards for Best Supporting Actress for The Secret World of Alex Mack and Best Supporting Actress for The Babysitters Club and was nominated 3 years consecutively. Natanya was also nominated 3 years consecutively for the Young Star Awards as outstanding Supporting Actress in a television series for The Secret World of Alex Mack. In 2005 Natanya took time off of her career to further pursue education and other avenues in life, and as of 2016 has returned to acting with a new found passion and love for her art. Natanya has recently produced the reunion special of the 90's hit series and cult classic Nickelodeon show The Secret World of Alex Mack and completed a short film titled "Time inside' in 2017. As an adult now, Natanya returns to the screen with a hard hitting edge, shedding the image of her days as a child star. Natanya now resides in Los Angeles, CA and is 36 years of age.

Grant Cramer (born November 10, 1961) is an American actor and producer who has starred in films and on television. He is the son of actress Terry Moore and Stuart Warren Cramer III. He's best known for his role as Mike Tobacco in the 1988 cult-classic Killer Klowns from Outer Space, but has also found recognition for his work in films like New Year's Evil (1980) and Hardbodies (1984).
With over 30 years experience, Louis Lazzara has one of the most varied resumes in the entertainment industry - having created iconic images in film, television and on Broadway. A member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and an Emmy-nominated makeup artist, Mr. Lazzara is a multi-talented artisan with a broad skill set who has designed and applied makeup to actors including Roy Scheider, George Clooney, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Melanie Kinneman, Kevin Spacey, Robert Englund and even Bette Davis.

David Howard Thornton was born on November 30th, 1979 in Huntsville, Alabama. He is an actor known for work in stage, film, and voice over. Marilyn is best known for her portrayal of “Veronica” in Kevin Smith’s breakout debut, Clerks (1994) about a group of low lives running a convenience store. The film spawned not only a sequel, but spinoffs and other outings with the same characters as well. She’s slated to reprise her famed role in the upcoming Clerks III, which as of now has no known release date, but has been rumored to have already started production.

Had a blast recording this episode with famous Australian action-star Vernon Wells! Vernon is best known for portraying villainous roles in the 80's including roles roles like "Bennett" in Commando (1985), where he fought action legend Arnold Schwarzenegger (The Terminator, Predator). Other roles include "Wez" in Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior (1981) and "Lord General" in Weird Science (1985). He also played the undead miner "Jeremiah Stone" in Curse of the Forty-Niner (2002) aka Miner's Massacre directed by late horror icon and special makeup-fx legend John Carl Buechler (Re-Animator, Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood).

On the premiere episode of Kellen's Petty Talk Show, we interview Tom McLoughlin, the director of Friday the 13th Part IV: Jason Lives (1986), One Dark Night (1983), Sometimes They Come Back (1991) and more! We had an amazing time doing this interview with this horror legend. There was however a rookie mistake made with audio on our end, which makes the audio in the episode sound like we're talking on a phone call, although Tom's comes out pure, crisp and clear, which is all that matters! And this issue has been resolved, so no future episodes should be affected.
