Well, All refreshed from a whistle-stop tour of the north east and southern Scotland. It was nice to get away for a few days and walk the beaches of Seahouses to Bamburgh Castle. (thank god for the bus back lol). Just kidding but it gave me time to clear the slate and prepare a new playlist or ten for the Wednesday night slot. Why not dip your toe in this weeks show and have a paddle down memory lane. Next week will be the 9th Anniversary show so don't miss it. Smiffy XX

Even the queen herself would recognise the signature tune tonight bless her and as for Mick from Ireland who "Shazzammed" the track and contacted me in the studio who thought it was a competition to name the tune was full of Jubilee spirit when I told him what it was when he said it was familiar to him. Bless!!. Another 2 hours of nice soulful tuneage to have on in the car or in the background whilst you weld up the odd petrol tank or e-scooter etc. Anyway, have a listen, I would be honoured (your Majesty) have a great weekend XX
Whilst sitting in the garden over the birthday weekend surrounded by family I reflected on those who, for one reason or another couldn't be here to share it with me in person.
