Jubilee Church is a multi-location church that exists for ALL people to know God, find family, discover purpose, and make a difference. We are passionate about God, His greatness and His overwhelming love for others. Therefore, we exist not for our purposes and plans, but for God's mission to draw every person and every race into a community that reflects His brilliant beauty and love.
In this episode, host Jordan Dillon sits down with Ryan MacDonald from Foster the City for an honest, practical conversation about adoption, foster care, and learning to love vulnerable children as a family and a church.Ryan shares his personal journey into adopting and fostering, how his family is shaped today, and why partnering with organizations like Foster the City matters. Jordan and Ryan talk through the biggest hurdles people face when considering foster care, how to discern if this is the right time for your family, and what healthy preparation looks like for parents stepping into this season. They also discuss the encouraging trends Ryan is seeing in the foster community, the concerns leaders should be paying attention to, and how everyday believers can stay connected and supportive even if they’re not fostering themselves.Whether you're exploring foster care, supporting someone who is, or wanting to better understand the needs of vulnerable children, this episode offers grounded wisdom, lived experience, and hope for the future.

In this week’s episode, Bryan and Jordan sit down for a candid conversation on spiritual warfare and what it means to “put on the armor of God.” They explore why the West often underestimates spiritual opposition, how accusations and division are tactics of the enemy, and what it means to “stand firm” in the armor of God. What does it look like to live faithfully and purposefully as a single Christian? In this episode of the Jubilee Church Podcast, host Jordan Dillon sits down with Greg Nelson, elder at our St. Louis City location, for a thoughtful conversation on singleness, wisdom, and the family of God. Together they reflect on the advice they would give their younger single selves, how singles can better leverage their season, and the vital role the church plays as a spiritual family. Greg also shares how he and his wife have intentionally included singles in their home life, what that looked like practically, and why it matters for both singles and married couples alike. Whether you’re single, married, or walking alongside others in the church, this episode offers encouragement and biblical wisdom to help you see singleness not as a waiting room but as a valuable season for growth, purpose, and kingdom impact.
What does it mean to be a godly wife, and how does that shape a marriage that honors Christ? In this episode of the Jubilee Church Podcast, host Jordan Dillon and his wife Lissy sit down with Lead Pastor Bryan Mowrey and his wife Rachel for an honest, biblical, and practical conversation about marriage. They share stories of what first drew them to one another and the role of community in choosing a spouse, reflect on the power of a wife’s words to either build up or tear down her husband, and wrestle with questions of ambition, direction, and decision-making in marriage. The conversation digs into what biblical submission really looks like (and what it isn’t) while also exploring how couples can balance home life, work, and kingdom priorities. Along the way, they discuss how to process shortcomings, navigate seasons of failure, and ultimately keep Christ at the center of their relationship. Whether you’re single, newly married, or years into marriage, this episode will encourage you to trust God’s design for marriage and to find hope in His goodness.👉 Watch Bryan’s referenced sermon “Calling All Leaders” from the story of Deborah here: https://vimeo.com/353247792
In this episode of the Jubilee Church Podcast, host Jordan Dillon and lead pastor Bryan Mowrey reflect on a heavy week marked by tragedy—the violent murder of a woman on a train, the assassination of Charlie Kirk, and the recent school shooting. They explore how Christians can respond in the midst of violence, grief, and political tension, asking what it looks like to honor others in a hostile culture, to walk in boldness without losing love, and to discern the reality of spiritual warfare in our day. Along the way, they wrestle with questions about social media’s influence, whether the church is becoming “too political,” and how Jesus calls us to love our enemies.
