In 2006 he was admitted to the Florida Bar and practiced law in Flagler County until his election again as Sheriff of Flagler County in 2012. She has done similar work for the NOW Legal Defense and Education Fund and the Older Women's League and was a legislative aide to U.S. Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY).
